Sorry for sounding like a fun at the parties type of guy but you do realize it's staged (as in weights are real but they aren't actually competing against each other) and they are gonna let each other win including letting the older guy win. Especially him. For the feel good story.
@Bigg Papa all these dudes are built a little differently and have their specialty I've noticed, but all have that winners mentality that seems almost impossible for them to dial back before getting an injury, when it comes to speed and strength Eddie is your guy, Nick has mind over matter like no other, Oburst is cocky but always willing to learn, Brian is a human tractor on a cold day
I respect Eddie. He admitted sandbags are not his best lift and he put his wellbeing over his ego. Remember 400 pounds is 50 pounds heavier than brian has done at worlds strongest man
Remember, during solo events, these contenders are able to put up extremely higher numbers. During comp however, they run a gambit of events, so it’s not ever a true test of how strong they are on any single event, but how strong they are cumulatively.
Ikr, most likely none of them are going to be as strong as he is at his age. People aren’t really giving him as much credit as he should, but when he passes away everyone is going to be talking about him, and how he kept on going.
I have so much respect for Eddie, Robert, Nick, and Brian cause they push themselves everyday and they are the reason that as a junior high school that I am able to make it through the hard times at football works and through all of the hard training I do after so THANK YOU
nick best is 3 years older than me and is inspiring me to get back into shape... thank you history for including him in these shows, AND PLEASE KEEP HIM FOR SEASON 2
2 things you always see in these videos. 1: Someone talking about how they can get injuries so easily that they use that as an excuse to not try their hardest 2: Nick Best reminding us all that he is 50 YEARS OLD!
Another imense feat done by the legends. Oberst suprised me a bit tbh, he still got it. Nick as always proves age have nothing to do with raw power and dedication, keep going as long as you can man, everyone backs you ;)
I just gotta say what an inspiration these guys are for my fitness journey, constantly redefining what's possible. Just today, I set a new personal record by deadlifting 375. I know, it's nothing compared to these guys, but it's big for me because this is more than I could do BEFORE my accident 5 years ago.
Great job Nick. I'm in my 50's and nice to see it still can be done. I love training and thank you for the videos and training tips. As for Robert that was awesome.
This is such a great group of guys. They managed to make a show with most of my favorite athlete's. The amount of weight these men have lifted in their careers must equal a planet, they are not even humans!
Teacher: Can I get 4 strong boys to help me carry these desks?
The 4 strong boys when they grow up:
dude bro dude 👌🏾Perfect
dude bro lol
Dude bro dude bro dude lol
Absolutely no one:
Feminists: That’s so sexist
dude bro I’m deadddd
plot twist: brian was the one who brought all of the sacks from the truck in to the building.
That's actually pretty funny, but he had an injury to his leg, that's why he didn't compete.
Lol
And he did it all in one trip
😂 💀
How else would they get it in?
This has become my favorite series as of late.
Yeah mine to
IKR !
for sure these dudes should be doing cars spaceships history stuff travel destinations....and then lifting stuff, they got real good vibes
Too bad it didn’t get renewed for a second season
Same! Do you know where I can find the whole season? I don’t have television, so I’ve been YouTubing small clips!
Was waiting 4 Nick to say "I own the world record in the shield carry..."
or "I'm old"
I am the oldest among the group
"Im the oldest one here"
I'm the OG of the group
I was 100% sure he would say that. And after he picked it up I was sure he was going to say something about his age.
As usual, NICK proved that he can overcome his old age. CONTINUE
Sorry for sounding like a fun at the parties type of guy but you do realize it's staged (as in weights are real but they aren't actually competing against each other) and they are gonna let each other win including letting the older guy win. Especially him. For the feel good story.
Pranav Sai ???? are u dumb lol
Pranav Sai he’s won like once lol
@Bigg Papa all these dudes are built a little differently and have their specialty I've noticed, but all have that winners mentality that seems almost impossible for them to dial back before getting an injury, when it comes to speed and strength Eddie is your guy, Nick has mind over matter like no other, Oburst is cocky but always willing to learn, Brian is a human tractor on a cold day
@Bigg Papa Loud mouth doesn´t always win? And yet here you are writing your whole comment with capslock lol.
So awesome that they managed to get the entire population of Wyoming together for this event
Eddy “I like my biceps the way they are”
Weeks later tears his bicep.......
Did he actually?
@@RYAN_4_ yes. Robert and Brian tore it this year doing Atlas Stones. Eddie suffered the same injury doing wrestling on his new show.
I was waiting for that comment
I did a three hundred pound one yesterday...never doing it again lol. serious dangerous plus I'm skinny . so awkward...took everything I had .
And again this month
I respect Eddie. He admitted sandbags are not his best lift and he put his wellbeing over his ego. Remember 400 pounds is 50 pounds heavier than brian has done at worlds strongest man
Remember, during solo events, these contenders are able to put up extremely higher numbers. During comp however, they run a gambit of events, so it’s not ever a true test of how strong they are on any single event, but how strong they are cumulatively.
I gained a lot of respect for Eddie after that. Even though I respect Nick for pushing so hard, he's probably going to get seriously hurt.
it´s not like the show producers told him to back off to give the old man nick some stage time..
@gjaddajg its just as you say, with some effort he could have probably do it, but like he said he doesnt want to risk injury
Diego herrera he couldn’t do it someone with his ego would never let someone out do him on purpose ever
This show should never end...
Why do u hate Nick so much?
@@siddharthbirdi haha right?
Yaaaaa♡
Can we just take a second to appreciate how much of a beast Nick is regardless of being 15 years older than any of these guys?
Ikr, most likely none of them are going to be as strong as he is at his age. People aren’t really giving him as much credit as he should, but when he passes away everyone is going to be talking about him, and how he kept on going.
yes. yes we can.
Well i mean come on. Nick has had more years of practice. JK these guys are all beasts
you know...he's the world record holder in the shield carry....he'll tell ya LOL
I wanted to see Brian lift it
I think he was injured when they filmed this
Yeah Brian was injured in the tire flip also.
@RO3 I can, he's doing the work
lil mercutio just cause you do the work doesn’t mean you’re the top
RO3 he has way to much injuries that keep messing himself up I’m sure he could have won one if he could but these injuries are holding him back
3:07 Good thing Nick took it easy with that high five. Being as pumped as he was, he could of broken that old guys arm off.
I lifted a 400 lb sack too after no nut november.
xXAlmdudlerXx let’s hope all of us can survive another month
Me too but after abstinence April, that was one tough month
I am preparing for next nnn, hopefully i can surpass it this time 🙄
Underrated comment lmao
I dont think i can make it this year boys....
Eddie hall: picking up this sand bag is really dangerous
Says the man who picked up 500kg and bleed to death
That's part of why he knows it.
also the deadlift made him a ton of money from betting, no one is betting on these bag carries.
really wanted the “let’s go get something to eat” ending. 😞
🙁
They already at a restaurant it seems
Rest In Piece Franco Columbu ❤❤
Mugwort 100% agreed Franco is 5’5
He used to carry around cars
@@abhijithanilkumar4959 Pumping Iron👍
“We’re gonna look like idiots if we don’t pick up these bags of sand” lmao
Nobody tlking about oberst and that amazing lift carrying it like nothing
It was crazy. I can't even bench press 400lbs, and this guy is carrying it like a stray dog.
To be fair it's less impressive for Oberst because he weighs a lot more than the older gentleman and is a lot younger.
John Bloom It’s impressive. Period.
@@johnbloom1109 still impressive either way
Oberst is the man!
I was worried Nick would drop it on one of the patrons.
really wanted the “let’s go get something to eat” ending. 😞
Love Nick and Oberst, they're like buff Norse gods!
Shouldn't they invite Hafthôr then?
A show about historical feats of strength has been absolutely amazing. I hope they find the time to do another season.
Brian leg is injured that's why he's not doing challenges
Yes and Eddie had a torn bicep right?
@@x-Abraham-x2 yea but eddie is done with strongman
Injured again I think brain's legacy is over now :/
Ok that makes sense. Still wanted to see it but its in his good health
He Was carrying the cannon tho
2:01 one year later Eddie detaches his Bicep throwing a jab
I loved the bald headed guy. He’s got a good heart
Nick or Brian
I didn’t know he had a heart condition. Yeah it’s Nick, he’s cool
Mike Kline lol which one
Mike Kline which one? nick or brian?
Oberst on jre got me hooked to strongman. Love these guys!
I have so much respect for Eddie, Robert, Nick, and Brian cause they push themselves everyday and they are the reason that as a junior high school that I am able to make it through the hard times at football works and through all of the hard training I do after so THANK YOU
I thought hulk is green? Lol
And had no goatee 😂
That was Thanos
Nerisse Moya i thought thanos was purple
3:07 the riskiest high-five of all time
Now I can tell my *HISTORY* teacher I've learned something
"I like my biceps the way they are"
thats a big oof for Eddie
Eddie “I like me biceps”
*Boxing enters the chat*
Wow.. I was worried for those people sitting in their seats for a split second as they carried 400 lbs directly beside them lol
Robert growling and saying get up before lifting is gold to me
nick best is 3 years older than me and is inspiring me to get back into shape... thank you history for including him in these shows, AND PLEASE KEEP HIM FOR SEASON 2
Nick proved that age is just a number
Good job nick
I have so much respect for Eddie always walking away confident when he knows his limits instead injuring himself
2 things you always see in these videos. 1: Someone talking about how they can get injuries so easily that they use that as an excuse to not try their hardest 2: Nick Best reminding us all that he is 50 YEARS OLD!
Harry Squatter And your problem with this is...?
Them discrediting the lifts
He is 50.
@@mrslick58 exactly, just because YOU cant do it dont mean someone else didn't.
@@teds4983 I mean it's not like they don't give proper and sound reasoning for it.
Robert's face change at 3:58 killed me hahahaha!
Another imense feat done by the legends. Oberst suprised me a bit tbh, he still got it. Nick as always proves age have nothing to do with raw power and dedication, keep going as long as you can man, everyone backs you ;)
2:50 how i walk after taking out all the snacks from the fridge at 3:00 am
I'm watching the add at the end to hope they continue to make this show
*Yells and claps* "YEAAAAAAAA"
random kid: "You got chalk in my pizza!"
wait a second nobody said "lets get something to eat" this time
mustve gotten food at that restaurant right afterward
Sadly they didn’t, although one of the producers asked me which place they should go get food at ;) lol
Bloody love the showmanship of Strongman!
2:57 bro the guy saying GOOD JOB EDDIE during Nick's lift...
This show is becoming “strong man mythbusters” they way they’re debunking all these myths
Nick and Obie basically picked my FZ-09 off the floor and carried it around the room.
This is actually the only good series on History Channel
Robert: carrying 475 pounds is fake
Also Robert: *easily carry 400 pound bag and walk around*
Lifting something heavy and unpredictable = injuries waiting to happen. Good call Eddie.
I been doing okay with 250 & 300 pound sandbag tho. I worked up to it with Gym Lifts & a 200 pound sandbag tho
Nick is a inspiration for the young , no excuses!!
Inspiration for us old guys too.
4:40 that eddies face
I like these guys, because they’re being friends instead of hating each other during their contests
2:52
When you accidentally shart and try to make the bathroom before it hits your boxers. 💩
At the age 50.. this man is a freaking best.. huge respect
Nick looked absolutely hilarious carrying that bag 😂
This has been pretty much the heavy lift Myth Busters.
Such a good show. I think Brian and Eddie back off in some of these competitions, so that Nick and Robert can win some 😀.
same but i think brian was injured in this one
Of course when they ask an intellectual question they shoot to my dumb blank face 😂😂😂😂 0:09
So cool that you got to see this in person! Did you get to meet/talk with any of the strongmen?
loved012one definitely! Took some pictures with them afterwards :)
Eddie: "Did I ever tell you about the time I deadlifted 1102lbs?"
also Eddie: "this bean bag chair scares me."
Eddie is letting me down everytime, wtf dude hydrate yourself

3:58 dude ligt stoped in his tracks all the struggle and pain just to hype up the crowd
True showmanship
Love the series keep em coming!
Lmaooo applauding the audio effects guy who added the crowd cheering noises from a stadium at 1:48
Never thought of it like that ... well done Oberst
The slow mo shout of nick was just the cherry on the top (2:45)
P.S: he also sounded like Chewbecca.
You have inspired me to create my own science and history channel. Thank you for your inspiration, friend!
Nick is and absolute unit for a older guy. Big ups 😂
I love seeing Nick pop off. Actually love him
Oberst showed out lol..👌
Much respect for all👌
So finally, after watching all the episodes, I realized that Nick is in his 50's. He like never mentioned it. Pretty impressive
He's 50.
The look on Eddie's face when OB finished that was priceless lol
2:14
yaaaayy
Just think of it like hugging Brian and picking him up
If you can lift a 400lb sandbag you can lift a 400lb just about anything.
I love the way nick runs
Nick goes and high fives his son at 3:06 how cute
It was awesome!!!
This is such a great group of guys. They managed to make a show with most of my favorite athlete's. The amount of weight these men have lifted in their careers must equal a planet, they are not even humans!

hahaha i LOVE nick... u can tell he has some age on the guys, but he just pumped that out and highfived an old man lol
I like to imagine they just showed up unannounced to this restraunt and was like "hey did I mention I'm exceptionally strong?"
3:06 almost broke the older man's arm lol
4:40 Eddie is like "I'll getchu next time"
Nick's high five was amazing!
How I feel like carrying the water bottles from the car to my house
even this doesn’t bring to light just how strong these individuals are.
Doing a lift and displaying strength in a lift = 2 different things! Pure awesomeness! :)
some of the best videos on youtube.
I am amazed by Nick. He is older but still going strong.
I follow Eddie and Larry both so entertaining they should go into acting
Where are the longer videos. The 30 minute videos
Guy in red shirt has a split second that he becomes aware his wrist might be fractured from high five 3:07
Hahaha he def squinted!!
2:51 me getting all the groceries from the car in one trip
2:13 The enthusiasm on Nick XD
My Favriotest history shows are this and pawn stars
And I struggle to lift 50 pound bags of salt for my water heater
i struggle to lift 14 lbs 😑
Kiels would probably be the best at this challenge.
Watching Nick Best come up to that challenge the way he did and kill it was very inspiring, what a great man.
