I’ve seen a ton of instructional videos and read a lot of reviews. I think it’s not tight enough for you because when you go to tighten it by pulling your hair apart (like you normally would with a regular pony tie) it actually loosens the pony o.

Thank you for the tip! I might have to try it again! Thanks for watching!

Best review that I've seen to convince me to definitely try pony-o because she pulls her hair out when she takes out the rubber bands.

Hi dawn! Yes the pony holders usually do that but the pony o does too. My hair naturally sheds a lot

Why didn’t you placed it on top of your rubber band ponytail?

I purchased this product awhile back I also did not love it but I have baby fine hair a lot finer than yours so maybe like you said it works great for someone with thicker hair.

Be careful about wearing your hair ties too tight. Over time you will start to lose hair around your hairline. The pony o’s were created to fix this issue. I would give it another try if I were you and wear it for a whole day before deciding you don’t like it.

Hmmm, seems you were doing everything they recommend you DONT do. They recommend you reopen the pony-o before you take it out of your hair. Also, you are trying to tighten it like you would a rubber band, you had it right the first time. It’s designed to look tight without “feeling” tight to protect your hair follicles (I think is their claim). And it did look tight on your head. I thought it looked better than the rubber band on you, personally. I would bet the “feel” of it is just something to get used to, like anything else new. In theory, it should work. I’m waiting for mine to get here and I have fine, straight hair. Fingers crossed.

The second one was falling out because it was inside out. Bumps go on the inside.

@@BeautybySheilaLynn I don't have them but I've watched a lot of instructional and review videos on them. My tip is to turn it the right way out and try it again....

@@BeautybySheilaLynn When you pull two ends to tighten like with a band, you are actually loosening the Pony-O.
