Excellent tutorial, well placed camera placement, great instructional demeanor and voice. This video will be absolutely helpful when I attempt to replace my 2000 Range’s radiator. As a thanks, I watched both of the sponsored advertisements after the video completed, one for auto insurance and the other for toenail fungus treatment.
I have same truck! 171,000 My radiator crack is almost same area. I'm going to follow this whole changing it VETERANS weekend. Just so you know I've never really worked on a car before. 🤭 Just a watcher. Thank you for this video. I'll update you after blood sweat and tears. Next...the power steering leaks only when cold out. I'll watch the other video after I do this 🤞
Your video helped the visual...not the muscles needed 😂😂 my neighbor helped. I also used ranger forums with your video. Estimate $986 to replace radiator...I did it for less than $200...lots of tears, cussing and time but after 3 days she was back on the road!!! I did it! Thanks for replying. That's really neat.
I can't believe I did it! Last year. Still no leaking. 57 year old female never HAD to work on a car my entire life! Thank you! You saved me 600$ labor ❤@@ijfim

Yeah, hope this video helps. Trying to make vids to encourage working on your own vehicle. Let us know you fixed it!
Same truck mine is cracked in the same spot thanks for posting this.

Glad it was a success story. Yes, muscles are needed…especially with the belt tensioner!
Great content man! Keep it up!
My truck is the exact same as yours so I dont have to plug the automatic cooler lines?
Nope! If it’s a manual, you can leave them alone. If you feel like plugging them after all, it won’t harm anything.
How many gallons of coolant are needed total?
I would buy 2 just to be sure.

My extender is too long for step one. I've been trying for 2 hours...😢
Too long for serpentine belt removal? Use a regular 3/8 drive with a pvc pipe to extend the handle length.
