I have watched both the child and adult version of this show. Its interesting....I have noticed more accidents and injuries with the adults than I have with the children. During one of the challenges in the adult show, they were tasked with cutting onions. 4 people cut their hands in the first 10 minutes. I have watched 2 seasons of the Junior show and haven't seen any injuries.
Ramsey is great with kids because he knows they are kids and doesnt wana kill their passion rather help them learn more and gain positive experience. He also has higher expectations for the adults because they should know better.
dominic williamson the way he yells at them is the best way to teach them I worked in a kitchen with a manager like that and at the times it sucked but in the long run it actually makes you better.
Also the US shows like Hell's Kitchen have that Gordon Ramsay anger turned up and the whole editing makes things look more dramatic than they actually are.

Which daughter oldest is in college and the youngest has made a few appearances on masterchef as a guest. His wife and kids have made appearances for family night at hell's kitchen or masterchef. The ultimate insult for a hell's kitchen team, tilly and the sous chefs replace them and complete service
I'm sure you can blame race but there's a lot to be said for the perception of an episode once it is edited by someone. Especially when the key point for a show editor is to find the drama.
I forget what season it was but there was a kid that should've gotten eliminated for about 3-4 episodes STRAIGHT...but somehow still ended up in the season finale ???😂😂
The team leaders might be selected from the previous weeks elimination cook. 2 best dishes get to be team leaders in a challenge, or the judges will select someone, sometimes the team chooses their leader.
Which is why I guess on masterchef junior they tend to eliminate 2 per week in order not to draw the season out longer because they don't want the kids to miss too much school.
Sean’s elimination was so unfair, I don’t really think it had anything to do with race. He was eliminated bc he didn’t demonstrate good leadership skills, not bc he had an unappetizing dish. Previous episodes clearly show how much potential he had, I’m not sure if he deserved to win but he definitely did not deserve to be eliminated that early. But I’ve heard that other S2 contestants say that Sean wasn’t the friendliest...
I think that while Sean was a great cook, he didn't really work with his team in that challenge. They also probably picked Oona because she kept messing up the squash blossoms, and that brought the team down. Samuel did screw up here and there, but he did have good leadership skills, and he was a good team captain. I don't think it had anything to do with race.
Theo Steven He’s been on TV, volunteers at the Ronald McDonald house, cooks/bakes at home, etc. He’s met Bri too. @chefhawaiijack is his Instagram and updates you a bit.
The bias shows when they have a special second chance competition only during the season that they have to eliminate their favorite. They had one to be able to bring back Jasmine then picked her for the winner.
I assumed they at-least gave them directions & recipes either during cooking the dish or before lol. It’s only common sense they don’t all know how to cook every single dish nor put it together nobody really does but especially that young. I also expected grown yet immature adults to try & divide a kids show with the racism remarks as well. Its even worse today then it was then! It’s about the kids having fun, following their dreams & getting the chance to have the $ for school or whatever they need. Look how innocent & happy they were for each other & so supportive. You will always have sour adults trying to ruin that. I’m sort of shocked they don’t get it until 18 but it’s smarter for those who’s parents would blow it sadly.
It's all "scripted" and the kids are "trained to perform". Did anyone think this all happens naturally in an hour show. It's "pro wrestling" for a cooking show.
Yass !! Cooking, time management plus acting "scripted"? These children should be an actor if they did, and where the heck you find these talented kids. In conclusion: children dont have that much energy an focus to keep the facade for a long time.
The kids are only allowed on set for a certain amount of time. The taping takes more than an hour then they take the footage and cut into a 40 minute program
The whole thing is rigged. Once watch one of the little girls pull a blue tag, putting her on the blue team but cut scene and she was on the red team, and the red team won thier challange, even with more mistakes made. Whole thing is rigged.

It surprised me a little that the kids were told as much as weeks before what they'd be cooking, but I guess it makes sense. It's still absolutely amazing what they come up with on their own. I mean let's face it, how many kids in this age range, especially the 8-10 year olds are even exposed to these kinds of foods? So far as what's going on with Gordan and the kids, I'm not surprised at all. It helps the kids not be afraid of the judges to see that vulnerability with all the dunking and so forth. Personally, I sometimes do question the wisdom of letting kids as young as 8 compete. On the other hand, maybe it does help them to be more confident.
@@tyrakristiansen7188 Get your mind out of the gutter. The requirements to appear on the show, like being between the age of 8 and 14 by a certain date. Maybe they send in a video of them cooking.

My question is, these are YOUNG children (I believe they said the age bracket was between 8-13). And they are using very sharp utensils and ovens to prepare these meals.
