What is Death Stranding? After its announcement no one could really pin it down, even all the way until just before it released. And after playing it I can see why; it's not that deep, not that mysterious and not that good, but Kojima knows how to create a trailer that makes a game look more interesting than it is. Here are the sins of Death Stranding.

Yahtzee Croshaw made that same joke
Kojimas next game : You play as Pierce Brosnan playing a character named "Victor Swells". The game is mainly about mowing lawns. 80% of the game youre mowing the lawn. The last 20% consists of war, the battlefield, genome soilders, guns, shooting guns and not a hero never was never will be
The next next Kojima game : You play as Lebron James playing a character named "Trevor Mazinolli". 80% of this game you are washing dishes. Then, 20% of the game you are in a war field. Pain... Loss.. Sacrifices. Reload! Retreat! Fire! Hit the deck!
Oh and both games have nukes in them for no reason. In fact, the characters just randomly say "Nuke"! Impusively during a kojima cutscene. They be like : yeah so i was sleeping the other night and NUKE! *cough* sorry bout that, any way my dog woke me up... On the battlefield.
How do I pay to make this happen?

Howard2k3k kojima said he was inspired by iceland to make the environment for the game

Pfffhahaha.
Not wrong. Not wrong at all.

Yassel Ruiz he looks kinda like Nakey Jakey truthfully
Higgs did technically voice the joker
I think it actually has something to do with the fact that that dude also voices Joker in a Batman game
“Goddamn that is one good performance” honestly the best part of this game is the graphics and the acting
Pretty much. Amazing graphics, pretty game, but it's a walking simulator with your average Kojima type convoluted plot that isn't so much deep as it's just senselessly chaotic for no reason other than the fact that Kojima thinks that's deep. With good acting.
Feel like such work could've been dedicated to a better game instead.
Weird, I don't really like the cut scenes. It slows down my mission to build roads.
Should've just made the movie or a game with mechanics entirely like Heavy Rain... with just more drama on the line... so basically reiterating another version of Neon Genesis Evangelion ...I mean it's not bad, I would've watched that
Really good game, graphics, gameplay etc Kojima did a great job
19:34 you sure about that, chief?

@@АлександрКондаков-э3г maybe this is the problem of the game, as usual with kojima. "show, don't tell" even with the videoludic medium is important.
Too wall of text, too stupid mail or coded, and even with those you are not sure you are getting the whole story. This is bad narrative and it is poorly integrated and explained through the game. No surprise at all dartigan mentioned kingdom hearts at certain point because it is the same stupid process: didascalism, too much abstract and pointless dialogues, too noptionism, exercises of style in the cutscene above the content.
Its just silly and annoying the whole game, the fault Its not dartingan's

5:08 actually, i believe deadman or someone else explains this later in the game...putting chiralium in the air so close to a city attracts BTs, it also implies this when you go and burn the president's body...the smoke enters the air, clouds form, an upside down rainbow appears, timefall starts, and BTs show up

2:00 - Actually the deer's corpse is found downhill next the first stream you have to cross. That being said, the body is really far away from the cave considering how fast timefall ages things. even if it fell off the cliff, it probably wouldn't have made it that far.
It's too bad most ppl would rather state Dartigan is explicitly wrong to feed their egos instead of being like you and accounting for multiple possibilities. Here's a like
(3 year old comment so what) The game sort of contradicts itself there, consider the scene with Fragile when she has to run a bomb out of the city in her underwear. She was out there for quite a while and just got some wrinkly skin. But other example shows the rain absolutely wrecking things. Maybe it is implied that because she had the helmet on that the rain cant kill her, but she doesn't move around like an old person either. Its like the rain only affected her skin and didn't actually age her body.
It's right there at 3:20.
It’s just so distracting to see Mads Mikkelsen and Léa Seydoux in this game because I’m just thinking back to their roles in the Craig Bond movies

45:20 It wasn't about the initials of his name though. Yea its still weird that Clifford called his son "BB"during the memories. But Bridget gave his son the name Same Porter Bridges/Strand long after Cliff died. Amelie told Clifford this when they met on the beach.
Despite the game's faults, it was a charming and fun game for me!
Actually the reason Cliff called Sam "BB" during the memories is because Cliff never thought of a name for his 4 months old baby..... And Sam got his name from Bridget after getting killed by her and after repatriating thanks to Amelie, Bridget's soul when Bridget decided to raise him..... Soooo that makes sense??

Why is that? The aging effect gone after hitting the ground?
“Looks like he’d rather be sleeping”
Couple more things I want to point out.
When we see Sam go into the Beach for the first time, he's wearing the Q-Pid and the cuffs on him despite not personally seeing them in the real world. When he wakes up, they're gone.
During the second visit to Amelie's Beach, you can see her dress change color. It's red in one scene, but then when we see her in her closeup, it's black. Whether this was intentional or not is anyone's guess, but seeing as how there's no real explanation for it, it's likely an error that wasn't spotted.
MULEs are essentially what happens when you try to take the human element out of a service by replacing it with robots and A.I., and then clumsily put the human element back in, making them become hoarders. So what's the next best step in improving the delivery system? Putting in more robots that do deliveries for you while you do your own stuff. Fucking really?
Yeah, I'm not gonna lie, this game's story has a whole mess of problems with its continuity, its narrative beats, and its overarching plotline. The Extinction Entities aren't even explained at all; they just simply are, and the best answer we can get is "because the universe hates us," and nothing is ever explored in that.
Also, storage is laughably bad seeing how you have this techno-magical network that can make bridges, share structures, and deliver babies, but apparently it can't share the equipment that you yourself made?
Sorry, you just don’t understand my “strand-type meme”
2:00 The dead deer is actually there at the bottom of the hill.
4:48
Unless they specifically meant human extinction, Death Stranding being the 6th extinction makes perfect sense because we have gone through 5 in our actual history. The sixth hasn't occurred but many scientists believe we're in the middle of the sixth.
Even though no actual scientist would agree with that, sure.

DOAMA That’s like saying if someone doesn’t like apples, they must not like them because they’re fruits, and therefore they don’t like fruits
@DOAMA Soooooooo...... Did he actually SHOW that he disliked Kojima and Japanese people ? ( Have he ever actually written a story ? But regardless it really wouldn't matter wether he did or didn't, since you don't have to have experience in a field to determine if it's bad. ) And that's not logical, or a conclusion, it seems more like an irrational assumption more than anything. Just because you dislike some*one* does not by extent that you hate his/hers race in question.
To even say he hates somebody would be a bit of a stretch, seems much less dislikes them. To accuse him of attacking the guy who made it rather than the videogame itself is equally absurd.
And this seems extremely absurd itself, since you accusing him of disliking someone for the crime of being famous, yet he doesn't go after literally every single famous person ever if he was. If anything it seems like you have an irrational dislike for him. You might wanna check your own statements before you accuse anyone of anything, because right now you just seem like a hypocrite. Kojima is famous, he really doesn't need people on the internet defending him.
In my opinion, this reminds me of Final Fantasy 2 and Knights in the Nightmare. Such as the somber atmosphere, tone, music, etc. Those two games may be considered an inspiration to Death Stranding.

I both hate and admire Kojimbo's writing. He manages to be mature, infantile, weird and painfully mundane all at the same time.
I'd just argue he's pretentious. It's not that he has something deep to say so much as he thinks he has something deep to say all the time.
@@PrimeofPerfection The word pretentious is an odd one since you can call pretty much anyone in the world that word and there's no real way of disproving it since it's extremely subjective. @@SK8TER4LIFE45 All art is subjective. If we split it to that level, it becomes a semantic argument. That's why it helps to actually learn the details behind why someone feels that way. For me, the reason is because Kojima tends to insist you WILL feel certain ways and his actual work doesn't do enough for me to achieve the reaction. A creator who does things like insists that people can't accurately judge his art unless they experience the full thing (which is tedious and mindnumbing, I've tried), says that you must do something a certain way because that's how they wanted it experienced and you now feel this, who says the audience is wrong for not liking his stuff (Kojima stated that those reviewing his game poorly are because they wanted a first-person shooter, as opposed to the problem being with him) or stuff like, say, the Quiet thing like "When you learn why she dresses that way, you'll cry" (which I didn't, I rolled my eyes), and so on is pretentious to me. The fact he reacts to criticism by blaming the audience (which Kojima has done with negative Death Stranding reviews) only further makes me feel he's driven more by his ego and belief that he's a deeper artist than he actually is. I don't find what he makes moving at all or him all that good at achieving any emotions with his storytelling aside from bewilderment, frustration, and laughter. His most awesome stuff only works because it's inherently camp and camp can be fun. Which I've started to wonder if he's actually in on the joke.
For me, Kojima just comes off as lack self-awareness at how silly stuff he makes actually is. Plus he lacks any subtlety. Ever. Especially when it comes to a topic, which he will go about it in the most convoluted way possible, go on and on and on about it as if he's actually saying something profound, and just... Okay, I'm starting to get into rant mode, I apologize. Regardless, I just find Kojima to personify the drawbacks of the auteur mindset. I do think he can be involved in producing some great things, but I likewise feel his more negative artist qualities get overlooked. They're qualities which, if done by a less accomplished artist, wouldn't be tolerated. And his actual handling of so many different storytelling techniques, such as how terrible he is with exposition, is the markings of a weaker storyteller.
PrimeofPerfection I enjoy how Kojima makes cutscenes mostly. His stories may be lacking, but it’s one of the few things he’s actually more consistent with than the gameplay. I didn’t like MGS4s gameplay too much either and the story was becoming overall convoluted (I still loved it). Death Stranding left me wanting more as it was lacking overall quality, but at the same time I have to say that it’s nice to have him break away from the MGS series. Death Stranding seems somewhat more natural (still having too many explanations of what is going on, like how Sam used his blood against the BTs, etc.) Honestly, I’m much more hyped to see what he would do with a horror game than Death Stranding as it is just a shell of what he truly wanted to work on. I mean his passion really showed in the P.T. Demo. Death Stranding is still a good game though (and my favorite game of the year so far). It’s just not what I’ve expected from Kojima. He works better when his passion is in tune and he works with someone to focus his story telling and art more. He does not work best alone I think.
@@Bri32675 I genuinely think Kojima's passion was in this. Especially at this point, given that the intended audience of Kojima's work is Kojima. We're all just along for the ride. That said, I likewise would like to see him tackle the horror genre more. For as critical of him as I am, I maintain that he does do good work too. Metal Gear's more camp elements are part of why I love it so much. And MGS3 is my favorite in the series, even though I recognize its flaws. I likewise agree that I don't think he works best alone. It's just that, well, his name brand got too big for his own good. He's like George Lucas, in a way; he's capable of great things, but it really helps when editors or some other people can help rein in someone's worst qualities. And I say this from experience too. I don't think he should give up his vision or anything like that. It's just that... well, I believe in creators being driven by two compasses, the internal compass of spirit/passion and the external compass of craft. Kojima's work tells me he cares more about his passion than he does the craft, which I think is a mistake because it makes it harder for actually convey your message.
23:19 I don't remember in what part is explained (I think is in this same cutscene) that the timefall after touching the ground becomes normal water. Out of all the game that is one of the few things that I got to understand about... anything that happens in this game.
I really gotta commend you for being able to make sense of this clusterfuck of a game, let alone give over 40 minutes of critique of it.
I love these videos, but half or so of the sins are explained later in the game, and you completed it to make this video, so you should know the explanations. Even a lot of the comments explain them.
To be fair, there is so many things that happen in this game I wouldn't be surprised if I miss so many of it.
@DOAMA His pinned comment is literally a link to him playing the full game.
I totally agree with you. Half of Datigan's sins are redundant.
@DOAMA Where the fuck did all this shit come from? I was simply criticizing some lack of sense going into this video. Don't bring political shit in here.
DOAMA “he most likely” yeah imma stop you right there because you clearly have evidence of him playing it and you chose not to watch it and just make dumbass assumptions. I see you all over the comment section talking about this communist shit too.
So why don’t you shut the fuck up and watch his gameplay for yourself before making assumptions okay???? God.
Everything Wrong with Dartigan's Death Stranding Game Sins:
1:01
1+ sin
Actually, Death Stranding is heavily influenced by the movies Kojima appreciated, including The Road, The Postman and 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Just because Beyond: Two Souls features an umbilical cord and paranormal aspects doesn't equate DS to be the same thing. You're grasping at straws.
1:43

Timefall and multiple voidouts (including the death stranding itself) would likely have reformed most of the land.

Unless the deer had decomposed into the soil due to the timefall. We have learnt that concentrated heavy rain time fall and snow can rapidly accelerate the ageing process.
2:23
1+ sin
You just answered your own question. The sound of the rain and thunder could have drowned out her teleporting sound, or perhaps she was already there before Sam arrived.
She may have gone to the cave because that's where Sam was. It was intentional, to meet him. He's always on the move and has been missing until this point so it's been established he's a hard man to find.
3:01
1+ sin
That sounds like your own biased opinion.

Oh look, it's that dead deer you complained wasn't outside the cave. It wouldn't have died instantly, just aged. So it got some distance before dying.
I guess you spoke too soon.

Considering time fall and BTs, it makes sense people would live hidden away and appear as holograms outside of the sheltered cities.
4:13

She could still inspect visually via hologram.
4:57
1+ sin
No, it's not the case. The necrotization, BTs and time fall are all due to the 5th Death Stranding. Because each DS gets bigger and more deadly than the last.
So it makes sense by the 5th there would be adverse effects that didn't exist until that one.

High amounts of Chiralium in the sky causes more time fall and super storms that spirit you away to war zone beaches.

Why not have both? Better to be safe than sorry. And considering BB28 starts out as defective, it shows their caution was correct. Your assumption was not.

He asked Sam if sees anything, not sense anything. The BBs can't see long distances, just point in the direction of BTs.
6:20
1+ sin
While it's not entirely explained, we can observe for whatever reason that BB joins Sam into the Seam, meaning BB doesn't die if Sam is holding him close.
Perhaps a Repatriate ability that Sam has. Some people with DOOMS can take others into their beaches, for example.
6:42

Yes and so what? This doesn't deserve a sin. This adds to Deadman's character.

Oh get over it already. At least it's not as bad as the product placement in FF15 with the 5 minute lecture on why cup noodles are so good.

They function as credit. It would explain why Sam can rapidly be promoted to varying levels of delivery man. Also, he can pick up as many Chiral crystals as he wants.
He's basically a millionaire when he defeats a boss BT.

Remote activation. It's shown he's capable of doing that when calibrating BB28 and altering Sam's cuff links.

I don't think you understand the Death Stranding. It happened already.
And what follows from then on is the aftermath.
10:40
1+ sin
You make a good point. But a negative and terrifying or depressing quality is not necessarily a bad thing in a narrative. It's bleak and that's the aim of this information about BBs.
It is not worth sinning. Also that's not how they treat babies, just BBs born from comatose mothers. Not that it justifies it, but you need correcting.
11:22
1+ sin
Better than living alone in a ravished world filled with time fall and ghosts that trigger explosions.
11:59

But as you come to realise later on, that's exactly what they want. They want Bridges to set up the Chiral network to take advantage of it.
13:45
1+ sin
Have you tried stealing from Mules and Terrorists without ever once being detected? It's not so easy. Can you defeat BT catchers without hematic grenades or ammo? It's not so easy.
Can you defeat humans without killing them? It's not so easy.
It's only easy or difficult depending on the tools you manage and what you need to accomplish.
14:03
1+ sin
If you're using hematic rounds, it will deplete your blood. Cryptobiotes are necessary to have and restore blood. Especially if you run out of blood bags.

She doesn't need to. But Sam needs to, because he can fast travel while carrying too much cargo, only the bare essentials, remember?
Also, Fragile can not overuse her ability or else she will become too sick.

There's always one person representing a large community of people - mayor, governor, president. It's very natural.
Other communities still give and receive things without being a part of each other's community. It's called a gesture of goodwill.

You're right, why not just leave it in the wasteland and let the wind blow around all that nuclear radiation?
As if the death stranding wasn't worse enough, let's make it worse by contaminating the environment with radiation.
Good job Dartigan, I think Trump would agree with you and you would probably agree with him on nuking a hurricane as well.
22:21
1+ sin
Based on his track record of fighting BTs and Catchers and his blood being harmful to BTs.
Sam will be able to kill any BT Higgs sends his way. He has more of a chance than Fragile or anyone else for that matter.

Again, you failed to remember or find the terrorists bases. You do see them. I'm just surprised you didn't, or forgot about it.

Nope. They noticed a lack of necrotization, and therefore kept her body for analysis.
29:35
1+ sin
Not really worth sinning. It's got nothing to do with Dark Souls. That's just a reference you made yourself - inconsequential.
34:42
1+ sin
I think that's your own forced projection about this scene.
This was a fun reference to Kojima's previous boss fights in Metal Gear.
It's not a really a sin just because you didn't interpret it correctly.
35:57
1+ sin
Oh god, shut up with your cynicism.
36:29
1+ sin
So a creator can't use similar ideas or tropes he has used previously? How on earth would a creator make something they're known for doing if they didn't do that?
Again, just because it has some similarities, therefore it must be the same as something else. Oh look, a soldier, therefore this is EXACTLY like Metal Gear, apparently.
36:42
1+ sin
I wasn't scratching my head. But then again, I paid attention to the story. I guess you didn't do that enough.
37:19
1+ sin
And Sam is probably the only person capable of doing that, so better him than some average citizen.
37:29
1+ sin
Does there have to be? It's called thematic consistency.
40:32

Oh look, a red sea, therefore it's a rip off of Evangelion, apparently.
You need to stop grasping at straws to make comparisons other such insignificant details.
42:40

Your straw-grasping interpretation doesn't require a sin.
Total sin count for Dartigan:

I wasn’t talking about the BTs. I meant the mules and terrorists. Their sensors will ping your cargo or your body (in the case of terrorists). And they can scan you at any time. And if they find an unconscious or dead body that you took out, they will scan and look for you. It’s very easy to go in guns blazing, but harder to do it full stealth. Or perhaps I just played on a harder mode than you and dartigan. I recommend going full stealth, instead of rootin, tootin and shootin your way through the game
Also. By repatriate ability, I meant Sam, not BB. Please read my sentence again.
Dartigan clearly wasn’t paying attention. I shook my head at soo many of his sins
@RadTheLad Yeah, but it's really difficult to get the timing right with that. Most people who I've spoken to have said that's tricky.
First time about Terrorists , Die-hardman said they're MULE who gone to dark side willing to kill people just for cargo but he didn't say that they're really Homo Demens.
I really love Death Stranding but I agree with a large portion of your sins. Kojima does better than most writers/directors when it comes to connecting dots but he does miss a few in this game and I think its simply because the story itself (everything in the Death Stranding world) is complicated. Still a great game but I fully understand and accept the fact that it definitely isn't a game for everyone.
I love the world that Kojima created but the theme is deep and very intricate. In order to pull this off, he needs a small army of great writers to weave a stronger story. On breaking bad, director Vince Gilligan admitted that without his reliance on his large pool of writers, his original story was very different and full of plot holes.
I'm surprised nobody has done the math on Heartmans's visits to see how long it's been since the event began, or at least how long Heartmans has had his condition
Give it a minute, or most likely is already in some forum
Done, around ten years, since he died for the first time. He died when the death stranding was already a thing. He never stated his condition started with the stranding if I remember correctly
Igor and the guy who asks about the key chain are twins. Which is weird because Igor is said to actually be younger then Sam (even more strange that he's describing how the world works to Sam) but was caught in timefall and aged prematurely. Apparently his twin brother was there and caught in time fall for the exact same length of time.
Bro you make a sin that people got depressed by not talking to their fedex guy.. I work at FedEx and the number of people who talk to you every single time you delivery to their house would surprise you
but would it depress them if they didn't? To the point where they WANT them back even if they're ABSOLETE? not too sure.
@@bluskamqko What Die-hardman was saying wasn't even about people unhappy to not talk to FedEx guys, it was about people being unhappy to lose their jobs to machines.
@@KasukiKasen thanks, captain obvious.
@@bluskamqko Visibly not obvious enough to Dartigan and some people.
@@KasukiKasen No. it's just that the information is conveyed in a very moronic way.
Die-Hardman says "people got frustrated that the government took the human element out of a service industry", which paints the wrong picture. Kojima doesn't speak English and this game is very poorly adapted for English speakers.

I think the Extinction Entity knew her plan for Sam to "reconnect America" had massive inconsistencies.....yet I think so did Kojima and actually chose to implement the flawed plan into the story on purpose as a character device for Sam and Bridget. In at least one of the interviews for Sam done by his therapist, she notices Sam's attachment to Amelie is extremely unreasonable. As innocent as the relationship was, she believed his love for Amelie seems to be strongly related to his phobia and a list of other problems. Almost desperate, like a child clinging onto a neglectful mother no matter what. When Sam was presented with the plan, maybe the original idea was to have the player realize it could've very well have been a trap given how nihilistic the outcome seemed, but to also have the player realize there was something blinding Sam to the reality of the situation. The trek itself was a massive demonstration of his denial to the truth, that he never really had a family that raised him. Even though Sam was adopted by Bridget after what Clifford did, according to his therapist in a journal entry that's in the game, he was very much neglected by Bridget growing up and rarely saw Amelie. As an adoptee/former foster kid myself I've experienced this pain (and it still hurts like all hell), but compounded by becoming a man who lost the ONLY sort of family he tried to create in a supernatural explosion he barely understood at the time meant he was already quietly over the edge, running on a lie. "Maybe this trip would make it ALL worth it," he likely thought. "Maybe this trip will mean I can get at least ONE member of my family back," he likely thought. It was only in the end game where Sam was forced to come to terms with the denial he was fueling was it then did he realize (along with the player) he walked into a trap that should've been obvious to him but wasn't. It's not just romantic love that blinds us to the truth, it's love for people you thought were family that blinds you too. I've seen that happen a lot with kids and adults that were separated from even terrible, God awful parents. Usually when offspring realize or are being forced to realize their parents never really cared for them, it sends them into a spiral or leaves them devasted. So you could only imagine just how Sam could've felt at the end of the game, the depth of his sorrow must've been cosmic.
As for what happened with Bridget when she was reconnecting the chiral network herself, I think she lacked an even bigger understanding on what it meant to be an EE and probably thought she had to bring about the end before a very specific time, a time she rushed to beat to prevent the end, and it therefore had her botch up a lot of what she originally wanted to do in the process, and created a lot of fucky-wuckys she didn't realize we're fucky-wuckys until she established Edge Knot City AND THEN realized "Oh fuck, I need someone to clean up after my mess. Oh hold on a sec, I have the PERFECT SIMP FOR THE JOB" and proceeded to lure Sam into a trap.
This explains so much.
2:01 The deer's timefall effect corpse is seen when you walked out of the cave. I saw it in another footage you used about a minute or two after you made the comment. Did you get distracted by the scenery and music, or when you were thinking of a comment about the music for the script (if there is any)?
I fell asleep about 10 minutes in and woke up and im so lost theres beaches, blts and mario and princess peach
Die Hardman's real name is John blake McLane.
This was clearly supposed to be a metal gear game.
actually it is not
there's a line in-game that states it
"Sam, you are leaving a lot of footprints, if this was a stealth mission you would have no chances, but this is not, so your footprints are a guide for others to follow your path"
No it was supposed to be Silent Hills.
commandergame In the very first city you visit, you pass by a small cluster of buildings, and I get MAJOR vibes of Silent Hill every time I pass by them.
the cancellation of PT was a goddamn crime
HalfAssedHero and the criminals are still free.
Like others have said it's the acting and the scenery that make this game. I also love that this game has a figurative Bond villain with Higgs who in all his charming overacting would fit right into Metal Gear Rising, and an actual Bond villain with Clifford who ends up being a lot more understated but still interesting.
Also I can't be the only one that had the pizza delivery theme from Spiderman 2 stuck in their head when doing the pizza missions. haha
In this game, you play and face hardships, but then you make roads and pathways for other players so that they dont have to face the same.In short,"I had to walk,so you could run".
Fun fact: Kojima always wanted to make films, but settled with video games, because he didn't get a foothold in the industry.
Explains a lot, doesn't it?
Also makes sense why he's trying to get in with celebrities, mainly actors.
And probably will never get into the industry they way he wants. His stories are too long for a movie, but more fit of tv show. Though I don’t think he will ever do that. Also his stories are to convoluted, interesting ideas but he puts way to many details that it won’t it’s just too confusing for a 2-3 movie. He probably be better as an indie movie director, but I don’t know if he will make enough money back on a movie to keep making more.
@@lunagrace2872 Honestly, most of his storylines and concepts are fairly straightforward if you get rid of the unnecessarily cryptic set pieces that surround them.
Commander Javik True, if he got a good screen writer to focus his story to a more digestible way it could turn out really good. But I my worry is that he won’t get a writer like that. He’s has been painted as he wants it his way all the time (which hopefully that’s not the case) and not want to listen to a professional writer telling him to tone down his story and take all the little details out (because it’s a 2-3 hour movie instead of a 50 hour game) But if he can find the right screen writer who understands what he telling and focus it more for a movie format, that would probably be the key to his success if he ever gets into movies.
I doubt he would like anyone to write a story for him. Kojima doesn't even like when his text is edited in translation.
Hold on how have you not sin that wierd umbrella looks like it it's just pieces of glass metal and plastic that aren't even connected properly the only time they look like they're connected is directly above it and that's just an optical illusion if the rain started pouring from One Direction and The Wind carried it towards another the time fall what fall straight through the umbrella and wash over her making that umbrella essentially useless am I the only one who noticed that?
Funnily enough it's only explained in one of the in game interview logs, if I remember correctly it's not an actual umbrella, almost moreso a signpost or compass. The umbrellas are basically wayfinders for Fragile to focus on when she teleports herself or others. It's what makes the fast travel system work, she keeps umbrellas at every private room you can enter so she can pop you between them with Sam focusing on it.

normie hunter Thank you.
Actually it's pretty fun to play
Sam’s phobia is actually a real condition but it’s quite rare like really really rare. Basically when a person touches you, you can have an allergic reaction, this can go anywhere from a simple rash in the area or a fatal allergic reaction. This condition however is mostly in your mind there is nothing physically happening to your body other than your own brain pretty much doing this to you. If the person can get over whatever is mentally causing this to them like a trauma or something. They can stop the allergic reaction. Also BB only points towards the general direction and how close a BT is But Sam can sense exactly where the are. The reason having BB let’s same see BT is because of his DOOMs normal people can’t see BTs

Love your gaming sin videos. They often point out weird stuff I noticed or interesting things I hadn't thought about. This one was especially fun since Death Stranding is already a bit unique in the story it tells and how it does so.
You should read some of the interviews if your interested. They often give some background information. For example: Sam's child was going to be a daughter that they were going to name Louise but Sam called her Lou for short.
Cheers mate. Look forward to watching Horizon Zero Dawn after I've bought and played it next.
