I'll never forget the first time I went to her shop in red hook I'm from Bensonhurst Brooklyn born and raised and I happened to walk by her shop I'd had store bought paletas and some others types when I went to Mexico for vacations but hers totally changed my mind it was the best popsicle type treat and non Italian dessert I've ever tasted
This is like a mix of a Magnum ice cream. The shell is flan-flavoured instead of chocolate and the caramel inside is a mix of ice cream and caramel jam.
Make a shelled one, but before pouring out the excess to form the shell, stir in caramel. That way you will get both the caramel top, that looks like flan. But also the caramel center. Which can ozze or not ozze depending on next tests.
I have since grown out of popsicle, but this could be something I would like to try. I also have a hard time pronounce foreign languages. so sue e. lol Another fun show, Rebecca.
Does anyone know what kind of machine they were making paletas in? The one with what looked like a viscous gel in which they submerged the filled paleta molds?
Uufff ! En mexico tenemos la paleteria la michoacana y mucho tejuino en cada esquina . Y el postre helado de mi madre de 3 generaciones es genial . Nada de que envidiar 😂
Really disturbing how the host always use "I quit my job/I will quit my job of xx years to do this"; like, please. Don't use such a patronizing expression to describe your awe of food. Kinda off putting really D:
I couldn't watch this whole video because of the way she was pronouncing the word paleta. Made me cringe every time she said it. She needs Spanish lessons badly.
lolo fernandez lmao no. Learn Spanish vowel sounds. Even listen to the lady she’s interviewing! It hurts every time the host says it her way... it’s like pronouncing tortilla “tor-till-uh”.
I had *_paletas de crema_* and *_paletas de agua_* while in Mexico City. Both delicious. Another excellent Rebecca episode. Great series. 👍

I love both of them!!! They looked so happy in this video and they really enjoyed making those paletas
I love how the owner keeps emphasizing the word "paleta" yet chef rebbeca keeps saying it like she's ordering a Starbucks menu item.
🤣🤣🤣
Fr she bet not be Mexican saying it like that if so she a disgrace to mi Raza 🤦🏻♂️
Love this episode. It's like having two lover reacting to their passion
The way she says paleta is hilarious
Poleta? puleta? Paleta wey AAAA PALETA chingado
It’s annoying how she says it
I know brother! Pah-ley-dah

Like they had the perfect opportunity to send a Mexican person or at least a person of similar background but they send this person 😂
Paleteria Fernandez in westchester is awesome! There are good paletas in NY

This is one of the things i miss most after moving to NYC from TX/Cali. Drooling even though its 37 degrees outside 😍❤️
This place is in NYC.
I'm surprised, NYC has a sizable Hispanic population. I would have guessed this is one thing that would transcend the various national boundaries.
I have since grown out of popsicle, but this could be something I would like to try. I also have a hard time pronounce foreign languages. so sue e. lol Another fun show, Rebecca.
I keep watching it over and over. 😝😘
Does anyone know what kind of machine they were making paletas in? The one with what looked like a viscous gel in which they submerged the filled paleta molds?
That's an Emerymark EMP 1500 paleta machine. Great machine! ICES sells them in the US: ices.cool/collections/paleta-ice-pop

2:50 - 4:00 I just fell in love with the background music, anyone know the name of the song?
I want a dozen! I am salivating!
Damn that looks good where can I find these in Bakersfield California
Find a girl who looks at you like Rebecca looks at desserts ♥
Those look so great
*One day I will eat a straight up spoonful of sugar*
I just did
Well, it helps the medicine go down.
I love Paletas 😝
they sell paletas at the store too tho.
Hahahaha... are talking about the koolaid ice pops?
Rebeccca = crush of the day
If you can say Paw and Lethal. You are saying. It correct. Not basic speech like the one here.
I felt my hairs stand up everytime they took a bite lol
We have a paleta place in Kensington market. Never been, but ive heard good things
Paletas 😍
Shes saying it like she mixed it up with polentas haha
Bring this to Australia please
Coño, eso se ve bien bueno
si, pero luego ves que vale cinco dólares y se te quitan las ganas
Idk how I feel about how she pronounces "paleta"
The guitars laying for every “Mexican” inspired product is pretty much a dum stereo type. But I guess it ties to the culture. Idk
These should replace popsicles
This is the whitest way I've ever heard paletas pronounced lolllll
Fr she bet not be Mexican tambien saying it like that disgrace to el Raza 🤦🏻♂️
Rebecca beautiful smile will melt any popsicle. 💕 how she oooozes when it the caramel oozes down the sides. Ha ha. 😍😍😋
🤤🤤😘
I thought the title said "Polentas".
Where's Matt and Lucas?
you know. There is already something like this in Taiwan. Called pudding icetube.
Good for them
Who cares.
I'm not if its the same but it could be similar.
Maybe there's are like USA's koolaid ice pop..lol

Que le ponga dulce de leche
When you said "jealous" I just whispered the B word because you hit point blank

A lot of people get offended when not properly speaking the language. I mean you could at least try by noticing she doesn’t like how you say it.
More than the language it bothers me how she pronounces it like it's something fancy.
2nd
It’s a popsicle
If you're gonna highlight another cultures cuisine, please at least put effort into pronouncing things correctly wow
Isn't a paletas the thing that comes out of a lady when a baby is born?
Not sure if this is a joke but that's called a placenta.
Pretty stupid question
Am I the only one that thinks this host look like she's related to Lucas from Dining on a Dime?
Not even a little bit
Pah-lay-tuh. How did the producer not slap this woman.
that is not how you pronounce paleta, her pronounciation is better than what you wrote.
lolo fernandez lmao no. Learn Spanish vowel sounds. Even listen to the lady she’s interviewing! It hurts every time the host says it her way... it’s like pronouncing tortilla “tor-till-uh”.
@@006haloman i live in argentina, and i can tall you that paleta has no "lay" sound, not even cloose to it
the second syllable is LEH with the "e" pronounced like the e in "bed", idk where you get LAY from bruh
She is cute
Popsicle and Paletas are the exact same thing. Don't believe the hype.
You keep eating your koolaid stupid
