OMG that is the cleanest briarwood edition I have ever seen! I want it so bad! I love the seats in that thing as well. My Jeep is also a 1991 but it is the limited white. It is basically the same one just white and didn’t have faux wood on it. My Jeep used to have the problem where the alarm system drained the battery all the time and my dad just drilled a hole in the back hatch where the button it and just crossed the wires and it got rid of it.
This video was a hidden blessing! My 91 Limited was giving me the same problem along with a battery drain. I now have no battery drain and dont have to worry about keeping up with the alarm fob that's held together with tape!
The only resource I have found for the solution of this problem in the entire internet world :) Thank you very much. I will try it at the first opportunity.
If the alarm system is giving problem first thing locate your security alarm device then start your vehicle and remove the alarm..... And you go to go and also remove the illuminated fuse just in case light turn on randomly.... The vehicle security system fuse should be remove while vehicle is start...... After that is done turn of engine and turn it back on, to make sure ur set turn of engine then romove battery pole and reconnect and start vehicle just to confirm all is good....this is the method for a 1995 v8 grand Cherokee Laredo jeep( this method let the computer think the alarm is still connected reason vehicle should be start while removing all the above mention) that's the top secret of jeep alarm system....
Hello I have an 93 jeep grand Cherokee I found an sensor in the door paddle right behind the key hole where u unlock the drivers door it was siting the wrong way so just take it off and turn it to the right way and install it again and that will disarm the alarm when u unlock the door U also can use an 12v omm meter to find the right spot for it to work I had the same thing happen to us and this fixed it Hope this info helps Good luck

Will this work for later models I have a. 2000 XJ driving me bonkers. I was told it might be the neural switch but I can’t undo the alarm either. It’s very frustrating. Thank you
Would this work on a 96 grand Cherokee- I have no clue what tripped it but lights are flashing along with the red indicator on dash- the vehicle won't start- making me think this wont work.....
My Nanas car will do that too when she goes to the door and uses the key lock she unlocks and then opens the door the alarm goes off it’s so aggravating but she likes it I don’t I don’t give two craps about that car it’s so aggravating it’s annoying and it’s annoying for my neighbors two they hate it that’s why we get so many complaints over that car that car lives under a bridge how do you can’t take it with that car anymore I’m talking about selling it I’m just buying her a new car that’s what I’m gonna do for Christmas

I think the module for your year is behind the glove box. Another thing you can do is ground the purple/yellow wire in the drivers door.

My purple and yellow wire is in the rear hatch..I hooked it to the black wire..I think the black is ground?.
pulling the plug in the back hatch and jumping it with a paper clip also works.

Turn your key over to Unlock and lock in passenger door will bypass the alarm.
What happens when you have to change the battery or the battery goes dead Does the systems PCM reset and you have to do the procedure again?
I have a 92 limited. I've looked and don't see it. I'm guessing it's located somewhere else in the jeep?

I replaced the battery in my 1993 jeep grand cherokee LTD the other day.... Now my alarm will randomly start going off....
