ThomeTeque Considering they used the Hyperion model, let assume that is a Behemoth-class battlecruiser. It still would of been smaller than a Mother Ship. Even the largest type battlecruiser (Gorgon-class) is only about 600-ish meters, while Mother Ships are literally carrying a small *city* on it, as they was not built for combat prior to the Second Great War. Simply look up Starcraft size comparison charts on Google and see for yourself.

Then they would need a counter, such as for the protoss a tactical ion defense grid (anti nukes) and for the zerg a bio-matter infestation pod (for infesting the terran bases but destroying the because of the infestation corroding the units and buildings)

Terran,Protoss and zerg are the only known races we know (ya ya xelnaga but they are extinct and hybrids are just stupid 1 man army guys and only 4 types of them). So we can not be sure since we only see the kuprulu sector and a bit beyond it so we are not sure what the other side of the galaxy will say.
Seriously? The battlecruiser was *right there*, and it needed a ghost to target the nuke? Also, slightly disappointed that we didn't get to see the Yamato Cannon in this. Using it on the mothership would have been nice.
In real life, many actual fire support whether from artillery or from the Navy, requires actual lazing/spotting from ground troops in order to acquire targets. Its done solely to prevent hitting their own troops in the cross fire as well as to invalidate electronic countermeasures that could throw off radar guidance and such.
Great video. Can someone (Michael Bay or anyone else) make a full movie? I'd watch over and over again. This was a great video. Yes the battlecruiser operation dialogue would added some spice to the video, and also an animation of yamato blasting that mothership or even some raven action. I saw Thors and tanks in action and some unit which probably was a Goliath or a landed viking (albeit without the minigun).
It is. The one time they're on screen together, there's some perspective wackiness. The mothership is much further from the "camera" than the battlecruiser.

Actually those are the standard lasers its firing, but what you were thinking of were the torpedoes they originally intended as an optional upgrade over the yamato gun, which would've obliterated all the zerg approaching that base, as well as the protoss base in record time, so they dropped it in favor of just the yamato gun upgrade.
keep in mind, that barrage of firepower is only available in one or two cut-scenes. you can't send one BC in and expect it to stomp like that. and you can't use their nuclear arsenal either...

Considering they used the Hyperion model, let assume that is a Behemoth-class battlecruiser. It still would of been smaller than a Mother Ship. Even the largest type battlecruiser (Gorgon-class) is only about 600-ish meters, while Mother Ships are literally carrying a small *city* on it, as they was not built for combat prior to the Second Great War.
Simply look up Starcraft size comparison charts on Google and see for yourself.
even that is the Hyperion or Loki is still smaller then a mothership...

If nukes could do this in gameplay?
It's would get hit with a nerft bat so hard that it's not even funny.
Zeling Li: Good thing they couldn't otherwise it would be nerfed or banned so fast it would make your head spin.
Wish one Nuke could do that, would make games so much easier....
Then they would need a counter, such as for the protoss a tactical ion defense grid (anti nukes) and for the zerg a bio-matter infestation pod (for infesting the terran bases but destroying the because of the infestation corroding the units and buildings)
genewoo13 In starcraft 1 the nukes are extremel effectives, one of the three reasons to take the terran (with Siege Tanks offensive attacks and marines)

Still boggles my mind that the standard battlecruiser is 9k long. i can only imagine the feeling of bing on the brink of losing and that shows ups. this animation gives a taste of that well done. :)

I did not asked to be terran, I can not be proud of some accident.
Terran,Protoss and zerg are the only known races we know (ya ya xelnaga but they are extinct and hybrids are just stupid 1 man army guys and only 4 types of them).
So we can not be sure since we only see the kuprulu sector and a bit beyond it so we are not sure what the other side of the galaxy will say.
xelnaga is more of a uplift then a race.
Seriously? The battlecruiser was *right there*, and it needed a ghost to target the nuke?
Also, slightly disappointed that we didn't get to see the Yamato Cannon in this. Using it on the mothership would have been nice.
In real life, many actual fire support whether from artillery or from the Navy, requires actual lazing/spotting from ground troops in order to acquire targets. Its done solely to prevent hitting their own troops in the cross fire as well as to invalidate electronic countermeasures that could throw off radar guidance and such.

This was a great video. Yes the battlecruiser operation dialogue would added some spice to the video, and also an animation of yamato blasting that mothership or even some raven action.
I saw Thors and tanks in action and some unit which probably was a Goliath or a landed viking (albeit without the minigun).

It is. The one time they're on screen together, there's some perspective wackiness. The mothership is much further from the "camera" than the battlecruiser.
I love how awesome this video is. I like how there was this constant air battle occuring as the ground fight was going on also. Sorry, i'm a sucker for a good dogfight.

Actually those are the standard lasers its firing, but what you were thinking of were the torpedoes they originally intended as an optional upgrade over the yamato gun, which would've obliterated all the zerg approaching that base, as well as the protoss base in record time, so they dropped it in favor of just the yamato gun upgrade.
gotta do this again with the new physics and effects from HOTS

battlecruisers are a very balanced unit that everyone loves playing against
keep in mind, that barrage of firepower is only available in one or two cut-scenes. you can't send one BC in and expect it to stomp like that. and you can't use their nuclear arsenal either...
