You know the Hyperion that appears at the end of Zero Hour and at the beginning of the Reckoning? It’s one of the single most powerful units in the game. I’d like to see how many scourge it’ll take to bring it down.
It is not invulnerable It has like 6k HP, ATS lasers that have about 20+ attacks with independent targeting and hit in an aoe It also have a no cool down, no cost, no target needed Yamato cannon, it can literally spam 200 yamatos in your face
But it has also a behavior named "divine armor", which reduces damage recieved by 90% if I'm not wrong. The WoL Hyperion would break anything on its path because of literally NO cooldown on the yamato (An Việt anh said it already), the yamato also has a huge splash so the A.I would spam them wihout even caring about anything (It doesn't do friendly damage to the unit itself) , that's why the unit just cannot be used in the brawls. Even in most unfair one.
That one Odin who got stuck behind, did nothing for like 10s trying to find a way to the enemies and ended the fight with barrage hitting a single enemy and who kept firing for 3s after that enemy died. We got a winner right here.
So, i thought the blackhammer might do more, as it's meant to be a buffed thor (the highest anti ground DPS in ladder) whilst raid liberators i didnt think are that much more damaging than regular libs. So i went and did some research and maths. Raid liberators deal 125 damage base, with +13 damage per upgrade. They have a base attack speed of 1.6, dropping to 1.39 with the attack speed buff you can give nova. This means they have 78.1/90 DPS at base, and 102.5/118 DPS at +3. Regular liberators only deal 75 damage, with +5 per upgrade. However, they have an attack speed of 1.14. This means they have a base DPS of 66, and 79 and +3. Bassically, a base raid liberator when its at its strongest. Blackhammers are then intresting. They deal 45 damage ×2 per shot, with +11.25 damage per rank, with an attack speed of 1.28. This means they have a base DPS of 70.31, lower than a raid liberator, but at +3 they have a DPS of 123, higher than a raid liberator with maximum attack speed. I did not do any calculation for a aegis guard, although I'm sure theyvhave something absurd like 200DPS versus armoured when on stim. Tychus with a maxed sureshot network helm was also not checked, although i have heard that he is the higest DPS thing in the entire game, esspecially with his +4 and a fully stacked sureshot network helm.
@@Santisima_Trinidad Aegis Guards ARE the best Marauders. If you do Zerg Wars it takes about a Elite Marauder (and half the damage of another) to reach Aegis Guard damage level. No shrapnel included just base damage and upgrades. Blackhammers however when Sieged are arguably the best AA in the game due to MASSIVE amounts of splash plus that heavy damage.
@@Kamikazi91127 anti light certainly, against armoured stuff, esspecially things like battlecruisers, it's significantly worse because of the low damage per shot versus high armour. Aegis guard are also very much the best marauder. I know the devs were neck deep in the power creep juice when designing everything mengsk has, but they were 6 fathoms under when designing the aegis guard. Tankier than a battlecrusier, more damage than an immortal, and +200% attack speed for no downside on a regular stim cooldown. Even kev doesn't compete.
Really Great update. Epic! Odins losing was amazing, we love seeing the big shots go down. By the way, if you hate 200 3/3 Siege Tanks vs. Dehaka for some reason, then 50 Raid Liberators vs Dehaka would also be very fun 😉
The 200 3/3 Siege tanks would probably struggle vs Dehaka, but I think the Raid Libs would win handily IF they got lucky with the Dehaka ability usage.
Technically 8 Odins lost, BUT it took down 293 vanguards with it. And the last one would have done even more damage if it didnt got stucked behind at first. It displays awesome strength and power of the Odin. Still a W for the Odin for me.
Is it possible to have a battle between Raynor raiders and Dominion forces of matching resources? I think Blackhammers +5armour buff would help Pride of Augustgrad to win the battle
In a straight up fight Raynor's Vikings are more likely to win due to the massive range increase, they can get a shot out before Sky Furies (I think are the Vikings). I haven't really looked at their buffs and all, but I do believe Raynor Vikings have a pretty major advantage. Especially if they get their campaign splash AA upgrade
Who would win? * All the resources, technology and expertise of the Dominion at their disposal for this new flagship design! *or* * One undersupplied, understaffed decade-old rebel battlecruiser boi.
really liked the battlecruiser battle but maybe you should've given it some back up? im all for small number fights, these grand scale fights are getting a little boring to me at least
Some units like liberation appears in multiplayer or player vs cpu maps after wings of liberty campaign As for others don't know if they came with nova dlc too
they made a ton of new units and different variants of old units for the campaigns and for coop. All of the units you see on this channel are blizzard made
Raid Liberators are Nova's version of the Liberator in co-op. (Liberators in the NCO campaign aren't called Raid Liberators, but do have upgrades specific to them.) They are deployed two at a time, and have an upgrade that allows them to attack buildings while sieged. In terms of the various Liberator variants, they are the strongest statistically, being significantly stronger than enemy Liberators in campaign and co-op (which in turn are stronger than Liberators in versus, and last is the player Liberators from the NCO campaign). For comparison, they do twice the damage of enemy Liberators air-to-air and three times the damage of Liberators air-to-air in versus. (Note that Liberators in versus attack faster than other Liberator variants).
Woa the Hyperion might have actually lost without the PDD. Pretty damn close I'd say. Also, even 6 Odins lost. O.o That's wild. Once again, Fate did not smile upon the Vanguards and they returned. :/
"Sounds like a plan."
"Oh, really?"
that got me lmao

wrrr
What about the dozens of Vanguards who walked into the barrages?
How do you defeat more than 1 Odin?
Tya: More Vanguards!
imagine thinking vanguards were gonna lose, cant be me /s
And it was so satisfying)
wrrr
If that one Odin did barrage on time, Odins would have won
The teleport for absolutely 0 advantage is absolutely hilarious when it comes to these auto-casted abilities. "Micro" 🤣🤣
It's just casted for longer battles let's be honest.
Odins vs Vanguards was propably the most epic fight ever.
I think Raid Liberators might have the highest single target DPS in the game. Barbaric.

Vanguard: "And I took that personally"
Pride of Augustgrad: Imma blow the Hyperion
Edmund Duke: *_Where you study tactics boy?_*
Finally 4/4. I usually suck at predicting the outcome :D
Same, this one was pretty easy I feel
Well that 1 odin that gets stuck is what always happens in group projects
We need one out of every base starcraft ground unit at once vs dehaka
That's actually a really fun idea
It finally happened
Odin(s) finally lost a match. It just needed 300 Vanguards to do it.
and only because the Barrage timing wasn't the greatest. Otherwise Odins would have won. But still good to see Vanguards stand the best chance.
Technically 8 Odins lost, BUT it took down 293 vanguards with it. And the last one would have done even more damage if it didnt got stucked behind at first.

The armor buff only works for ground units

If anything, the Sky Furies with their absurdly overtuned anti-massive bonus would be the Hyperion killers.

i was expecting the dragoon would won when a chunk of them got to to the side of the liberator + lib would need time to reposition
Mengsk's BC is called White Star.
Ever thought about using the Odin from Co-op instead of Campaign?
Can we do 300 Vanguards versus 3 Dehakas?
Pls do 75 Clolarions (Or how many you think would be balanced) vs 90 Sky Fury, thx.
Technically that's the Coop battle cruiser. Doesn't mengsk have different variants of it in the campaign?
The raid liberator has scary DPS. Can a bunch of them kill Dehaka?
i was just noticed that BC has only a cockpit and a gun
Damn, my first 4/4 win.
Man, vanguards are so OP
im just happy to see my favorite unit in the entire game, the raid liberator, get some love
164. 125 base+13 per upgrade
200 3/3 siege tanks vs Dehaka please.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Kill Dehaka
200?? It's a bit unfair...
To siege tanks
Or Vanguards.
1 Hyperion vs 1 Dehaka. Who could ever predict that !?
Ur uploaded at 1am?
If Odins don't take out half the enemy upfront, they don't win.
Pit Mensk's elite units against each other or see how much punishment Aegis Guards can take!
The ldin vs vanguard was very close
really liked the battlecruiser battle but maybe you should've given it some back up? im all for small number fights, these grand scale fights are getting a little boring to me at least
so i havent played sc2 for like 10 years, my question is how come there are so many variants of units now? are these custom made units?
They're commander units.

Stukov you should probably work out your other arm at least.
If only you used a co-op (P2) Odin instead of a campaign Odin. The results would have turned out differently if the Odin had BRB.
I was afraid that pride of Augustgrad was gonna yamato again. xD
I thought Arcturus ship was the Bucephalus.
You can do something similar with AoE series too!
Funny that the Odin was the original Thor in the beginning
Man I never thought the vanguard was a great unit now I always think it's OP 😆😅😆😅😆
If you've just now figured vanguard is good then you haven't been here long haha
They almost lost if the Odin barrages were timed better. The one was off a good bit
@@Kamikazi91127 Considering how OP the barrages are anyway you can't really argue it's unfair they're not totally 100% optimal I think
@sebastjankrek1744 no not true been playing for since SC1 but I'm a campaign and Skirmish match guy. And I really ever used the vanguard 😆😆😁😆
@@stevenmayer8528 I meant here as in watching these brawls. But I've been playing since sc1 too! Good old times.
Augustgrad + Gorgon vs. Hyperion and Void Seeker pls
Void seeker isn't even a combat unit
@@L3monsta it definitely is in some mods plus the Hyperion is sitting duck in the last HotS mission as well.
Any chance of seeing Mengsks co-op thors (the Blackhammer) vs some air units?
3/4. I actually didn't think Vanguards would win, but Odin just isn't incredible against things that step out of the way of its abilities.
Says something about how absurd Vanguards are that even with the worst micro in the world they could beat the Odins.
Vanguards are unstoppable!
Maybe the vanguard is the only unit capable of defeating Dehaka, the final boss.
20 Raid Sus vs 3 Special Ops Amogus

Odin need better ai. Need cancel barrage like in hots
Hyperion, Marauders, Vanguards, Dragoons
My first 4/4!
So lvl Pride can s add most taken down a Hyperion.
Apocalisks VS Mengsk Marauders.
Pride of augustrad vs sovereign battle cruiser
3/4. Shoulda stuck with the Apocalisk....
in fact hyperion is mengsk's battlecruiser
Dragoons should win that fight every time, if they actually MOVE.
that last odin barrage on nothing..

Apokalisks FTW!
Both Mengks (Aleksander) and Raynor's (Hyperion) BC's don't attack like SC2 BC's 😁.
I feel insulted. My 9 year old nephew got 4/4 on his first try.
Add casters pdd raven shields sentry
Plot armour.
