Glad someone noticed, those walls were a bit empty! But to be completely correct it´s actually a Curtiss P-40 Warhawk of the American Volunteer Group :)
Glad you clarified that, I thought the canopy looked a bit flat for a spitfire 😀 One of the reasons I like the BMW airhead is that old aircraft engine look....
@@ThomasC Sweet jeebus that was fast! Thanks.. I just looked into it.. Its because I just bought a R100 RT and its 19" front and 18 back. My old R80 Mono from 85 had 18 and 18 K60's on it.
@@ThomasC Oh and while I have you.. how did you get around the generator lamp/resistance with the Daytona? I cant remember if you mentioned it in the video.
@@zalobub if I remember correctly (it´s a year ago) mine worked fine without replacing it with anything else. I found it strange but since it´s a 1992 model maybe it´s a bit different from the older ones. On my brothers´ R65 (1986 I think) we did have to include the lamp into the system, I took the lamps´ housing out of the dash, wired it directly at the diode board and put the lamp in. It´s all insulated and works fine, he simply has a lit diode board now :-)
@@ThomasC I have to see.. Thanks. And on last.. LAST question.. Have you had any issues with running tubeless tires on the rims?.. or did you just use a tube anyway?
Excellent mate. Really enjoying your uploads
it's so nice and inspiring to watch this!
Awesome job! Beautiful bike
Looking good, also like your Supermarine Spitfire picture !

Hey.
Thx for the vids.
Regarding the tires. You dident have an issue with the front rim being 19" and putting a 18" on it?
The front rim is 18". I think it´s the GS versions that come with a 19" rim.
