  • PROJECT UPDATE!
First of all the wheels go off to get them powdercoated, after that they will be fitted with new bearings and tires.
The tank finally gets rid of the red color, more about that in the next video.
With the whole rear end stripped down I noticed a lot of ugly spots.
After cleaning they turned out to be rusty, so I decided to paint the parts in order to protect them for the next couple of years.
The ideal thing would be to strip the whole frame and get it powdercoated, but the current budget doesn't allow that.
One big rusty spot on the swingarm was even bigger once the peeling paint was removed, same went for a lot of other spots on both the swingarm and the rear part of the main frame.
The grey driveshaft housing also needed refreshing.
I removed as much rust as I could, gave the whole rear end some new primer and then a black high gloss, finishing off with two layers of clear coat.
The YSS shock I ordered, a completely black edition, was then mounted instead of the old one.
If you have questions about the build, feel free to ask.
What parts I used exactly can usually be seen in the video, as I try to get a good shot of the boxes and labels before unboxing the items.

I haven't received it yet (next week probably). Last time the seat was too long and I had to shorten it in the front. The foam isn't the most comfortable and after a year the are I sat on most started sagging a bit. So maybe there are better quality seats out there, but in combination with the subframe the whole looks very good and balanced. If the seat starts sagging again maybe I'll get it refurbished in a year or two.

@@dannyjonze well I made these videos as a hobby and am not getting any income out of them. We´re not begging for subs or patreon donations.
I already took the time to make them as they are and I make it possible to gather a lot of information just from my videos, this way people have a lot more info than I had when I built my bike.
I´m not going to change everything specially for you...
