Dude the smile on your face when you ripped the sticker off. Epic smile.
I love mine i got it back when it was 119 on amazon its great after some details and putting a driver in it. Nice review 👍
So worth that price!
You've gotten better with reviews. I'm still enjoying the channel. Happy Holidays to you and all the viewers 🙋♂️
Thank you. It's hard to be upbeat in videos all the time but i try!
Great Video, I am impressed by the performance of the Glacier and grabbed it on sale so that was a bonus.
This is awesome! I was smiling the whole time thru this video. Especially at the end!!
The price is definitely right. Looks very scale. I agree, a shelf model that can do some mild to moderate trail action. It would be interesting to see this in a short bed or even a step-side bed. Good review.
Yes indeed. Price is good now and so competitive now.
Yeah that’s the first thing I did pulled that glacier sticker off, I love my little Chevy truck haven’t had a chance to get out with it yet only had it a few days. I did switch out the tires and rims, the 1/24 scale rims fit so that was awesome appreciate you sharing only paid 119 shipped for mine, appreciate your reviewsAnd I’ll be watching more
Where did you only pay 119 from?
@@laxingpiper23 Amazon
I like it... some oil shocks and better tires... gotta get one! Great video friend
Awesome, thanks for the great review, as always, and thanks for the awesome Easter Egg
Nice, love that ending with that sticker😃
Rrrright. Cool bonus.
Everyone is having so much fun with these. That is a real good price range. No freaking way on the Easter Egg lol
Rrright?
From the uk.
So far ive made a woodwn flatbed for the glazier in teak & looks really great plus ive chanfwd the wheels out for alloy beadlocks & softer tyres, ive springless ahocks to fit next.. a lovelt rig with a few tweaks etc can become a bitter rig especially for the money.
Thanks for your video & never knew that FMS own eazy rc? ?
I knew about the coverd up chevy logo though!!
Great stuff & subscribed to your channel
Have both fun crawlers! Can’t beat the 2 speed on the k10
Cool Chevy trucks. I would detail these, chrome the trim on the sides, door key locks and rain drip moldings and match up the body color to paint the bottom of the dash where the glove box, ash tray and under the steering column is like on the 1/1 Chevys. Even a roll bar with lights would look sweet, if it's easy to find one in the same scale or scratch build one.
Exactly. The need for a cool project!
Love it man. Just ordered it
I'll get the Fms, well worth the extra money imo.
Good review! 👍
Cool to have options. We've seen it on sale for $200 on occasion.
I do enjoy mine best blue truck! I just keep buying rigs; slow down for me, lol... I like the red one, but to expensive yet. Merry Christmas!
Awesome informative video, thanks for the quick comparison
Glad it was helpful!
Are the bodies detachable? How does the chassis look like and could you access the inside of the body from underneath to put a driver figure in there?
Lol, nice ending. I would love both of those.
Thank you. It was a pleasure playing with these.
I got the Glacier because I owned a 1976 5/4 ton Canadian Military pick up. I painted it camo and made a Bush guard with my 3d printer. It brings back good memories. Will be able to offroad it like I did with the real one.
I couldn't justify ruining the FMS paint job so I got the cheaper one.
I must say the Glacier is still a pretty good rig.
Glacier is a great starting point for more paint details.
do you remember the top speed by any chance?
@@OliverWorona I would have to say around 100km/hr. 4.56 in differentials. Only draw back is you actually saw the gas gage needle go down very quickly!
@@HuckThis1971 sorry but I’m new to rc and is that stock diff? And also what is the gas gauge? Again I’m sorry I’m new to this hobby 😂
@@OliverWorona I thought you were asking about the real truck. RC truck is geared for crawling and not for speed. Still a fun truck to drive around.
I was wondering how you could lift it and get a little more ground clearance.
What is your opinion about the rgt adventurer v2 is it good for the price?and what are good upgrades can I make to make it better
(From Brazil) All right friend? what's up? In my country there are no hobby shops. That's why I have trouble finding parts. Could you do a series with upgrades for the FMS K10 Red? He has a lot of potential!! What we need is to find wider axles, from another brand that fit. Perhaps raise the suspension a bit. A good one would also be bigger or wider tires. What I really wanted was to make Dually Beadlocks (double rear tires), since this is a torque car with a big bucket, it's for fun carrying and pulling weights. Well, all we need are at least part indications. Can you do this for us?
Hopefully Santa gets me one of these this year
For the scale driver solution, just cut the driver side window out! Problem solved! Simulates driving on those hot summer days. Thinking about picking one up myself! Prob will go with the FMS version.
I bought an Eazy Glacier, and I have some doubts, the control on the top has 4 buttons, there are two for adjusting the front axle and the other two for what is it for?
am a scale enthusiast wanted these for the realism as much as performance. does it have differential function with steering as in does the right side (or left) turn faster in a turn than the other side? where is the motor(S) in the diff?
Anyone know if you can buy the body seperatly? Would look real nice on my wpl chassie! Good video man! :)
Anyone know if they make rally wheels for these 1/18th scales like they do for the trx4 k5?
Are the chassis frame rails different on these? I've heard the glacier rails are plastic and the fms rails are metal is that true or do they both have plastic rails?
Love the bed depth and scale detail. Way to bouncy. Air filled fake shocks much?
Does the real chevy from fms waterproof?
Those the glacier has the option on the transmitter for steering trim?
Is there a difference with aftermarket parts? I can't find much for the Glacier
Are there any upgrades for the glacier? Like brass?
nice fresh cut! ✂ 👍✌
It's fresh!
Can you compare the FMS and EasyRC 80 series Land Cruiser?
Both look identical, but have a $100 price difference
If you peel the glacier sticker off the tailgate I believe there is a logo beneath
Can you tell me if the FMS K10 has metal diff gears because the easy RC has plastic and they are bad and i cant find metal diff gears anywhere
Both trucks look great. I definitely wanna get . I know the transmitters are different but are the electronics the same or different in both?
Yes the electronics look identical.
So its been super hard to find the diff gears for the easyrc k10 so i went to my local hobby shop and picked up the rear axle for a trx4m and so far the top links are to short and all screw will need to be upsized to the trx4m size as well as shocks youll need spacers for the shocks to relocate where the shock mounts thats as far as i am now i have not tried the front diff yet
I think FMS won't allow companies to manufacture after market metal diff gears because the FMS licensed truck has metal gears and the glacier doesn't, so if people wanted to have Licensed performance in an unlicensed vehicle they can't any more.
I’m wondering if these are geared differently? Or if possibly one had metal parts Vs. Plastic?
Speed looks identical. Motor is the same. I've no reason to believe gears are any different. It'll just be a parts problem for them.
is the axle one better then the FMS, performance wise?
Do these RC trucks come with the battery?
I picked up a glacier on Black Friday 112 shipped. I dig it. If you can get the speed control and controller from the fms Chevy I’m sure that would be a great swap
Just need that transmitter!!
@@RCReviewChannel really? So is there a way to bind that receiver ? I would only be interested because the lights could be controlled. Maybe post a video?
Gear Box went out on mine already.. all parts on Backorder
What are their respective wheelbases?
They’re both currently right around the same price on Amazon maybe a 20$ difference and the red one still being more expensive
I’ve heard the fms has metal diff gears and frame rails unlike the eazyrc which are plastic, can you confirm this?
I have the same question and would like to know
And what about the electronics? Same or different?
I'm not too sure but I have the FMS LC80 and it has plastic diff gears and I know they both use the same platform. I've never had any problems with the diffs tho.
Edit: I commented before finishing the video.
I know I’m late, but you’ve heard correctly and the electronics are different. Also if you pull the sticker off the tailgate on the glacier, it says Chevrolet
Nice little truck It does good , You pulled a glacier sign off the back and says Chevrolet ,,,
Yes it does.
I got the fms today from my local hobby shop for 1999 and it’s amazing
How the heck did you get something like that for 19.99 did they misprice it or was it used
@@colbycramer1214 he probably meant $199?
The FMS is down to $139.20 right now, just ordered one.
That is a very good price
Wish they made a good truck body for the redcat gen 8 axe edition. With deep bed an cantilever set that is put together already lol. I got a cantilever set and can't find any instructions or good video that shows how to do it
Yeeah Redcat Gen 8 should have way more bodies by now.
You got some pull being the top RC reviewer, make some suggestions to em an see if we can get something exciting lol. Love the vids btw, I don't commit to any rc without watching one of you're reviews because you give it straight and honest. Salute to you my friend keep em coming.
Suspension in the FMS looked way better, but you can always swap that out yourself for far less than buying the FMS. Not sure I'd want to do that though since the EazyRC does look very realistic in motion on the stock springs. I'd have to say I'd go for the EazyRC to be honest.
Pull off the glacier sticker on the back and the tailgate says Chevrolet because they use the same mold as the fms k10.
the FMS is on sale for $157 on Amazon
Boa noite, amigo vc vende o jeep jjrc o q65 por quanto vende .
Remove tailgate sticker to reveal the Chevrolet on it! It’s a surprise!
Ok that was funny at the end
I’ve seen someone take the back sticker off the eazy rc and it had ‘Chevrolet’ clearly on the tailgate
Yup. We demonstrate it at the end of the video.
Love the scale look but way too bouncy.I would have to redo the suspension
It wouldn't be hard. Put some heavy diff fluid in the shocks. Flip the shocks to minimize leaks.
The Glacier sticker on the tailgate comes off and shows the chevrolet underneath
Thank you for that. Much appreciated!
I would say it looks like a cross between a 1st gen dodge and a square body
It’s is a Chevy. Take off the Glacier Sticker on the back. It’s says Chevrolet. At least mine does. Check it out.
Yes, it's on the video at the end.
@@RCReviewChannel nice! I cut it off to soon 🙃
Have a tug of war with them
👍🌟
100%
Take the glacier sticker off the back so the Chevrolet logo will appear.....
Woops! Spoke a little to soon!
Due to the small size of the rc car, there seems to be a limit to outdoor rock crawling.
Still, it looks like a really good rc car to play with. I enjoyed watching.👍
Yeah, it's more for indoor crawling
Take the sticker off the back of the tailgate it says chevy
Oh heck yeah!
11:14 there it is
you said it display ,looker .
I love it, but.... it rides very slow I was expecting more of it 😑
HA! Be gone! Nice review sir.
Be gone useless sticker!!
I wasn't sure you knew that about the glacier sign in the back The Chevrolet is but much better,,,,,,÷÷!***1👍
Yes, that was the surprise ending in the video.
If you remove the sticker on the glacier tail gate it will become a chevrolet
Sticker that covers the brand name wtf i see .
I think you got lost on the point of your comparison. you expressed a wish list, but that is why $$ is the point, not your wish list
You lost me with that sentence.
Ha ha ha ! Boom chevrolet! 😂😂😂
The video about nothing. What's the real difference between those trucks? Is the electronic same? What about gearing? Is it plastic or metal? What about performance comparison? But you showed us you peal off the sticker....cool
Appearance, controller, lights, steering throw as explained in the video. Gears and performance is the same.
It’s a dodge not a chevy
From my research, they are both in fact not 1/18th scale but 1/16th scale
