Booth times number one: First the jewellery, second the Vanessa idea! - Best wishes from Berlin / Germany
Thanks for the love ❤️
You OBVIOUSLY knew that we need something to do in-house with our photography so we don't lose our minds being confined to these four walls! You're the best!
Haha yes I do :)
Many thanks for sharing these simple ideas to make portraits much more interesting.....really enjoy your videos!
Glad you like them!
You got it right the first time, Instagram IS a good gauge to make sure if something is ok or not. :P
??
I came in for photography advice...but i stayed for the lovely relationship you got with that plant.
Plant?
I think you know what he/she meant 😏
@@gogoasa333 no I really don’t.
Excellent stuff. A 'joy' to watch.
Yayyyy haha
Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I been trying to learn photography on UA-cam but sometimes is hard. Your videos make it easier.
Happy to hear it!
What a great video and gorgeous model 😊
Isn’t she amazing?
Venessa, you have given me some great ideas to do indoors, many thanks.
In my experience having a pretty model helps to get a good image and if are a good tog it just makes the model look that much better, IMO lol
Pretty subjects definitely don’t hurt 😉
Vanessa... what strap are you using?? I’ve been trying to find a good leather strap and I’m struggling. Yours looks nice.
Kawaprogear
Nice photos. But do you worry about the Eos R single memory card slot and memory card failure ? Your R5 might be a better option 😊
this was before it came out ;-)
@@VanessaJoy Haha, no wonder but the Eos R for portrait shoot is still a great camera.
@@ryantang8146 it absolutely is ☺️
You should buy yourself a multi-regional DVD player. They're pretty cheap. Then, you can play your DVD :D Another thing you could try is one of those glass balls some people use to shoot pics through. That would get some interesting results.
I should!
I've got two of those things and a few other things, some of which I use to cast shadows, I guess for the reverse of what you are doing, I find holding the camera out awkward!
It IS awkward. Not recommended for all day shooting :)
I'm a bit of a viewfinder diehard haha, cameras are for peering through (although mostly use the screen on a tripod) and phones are for holding out!
Still, I'm pleased to see someone that isn't scared to up the ISO! :)
Awesome! Hey from NZ
Hey hey! Love NZ
I love the way you tell your settings and equipment. It is useful to know. Personally, I’m not a fan of the blurred foreground objects. I don’t mean that as a criticism but just a statement of my taste. The prism is kind of interesting though.
Glad you like my teaching style. :)
@@VanessaJoy You’re an amazing teacher and you show such enthusiasm and respect with the models.
I have done but yours gorgeous i am to Try
You can do it!
Hey Venessa, I need your help. So the 28-70 RF is finally back on the shelf at Best Buy. I watched another review of 24-70 vs 28-70 . I was wondering if I shoot at slow shutter speed will the 28-70 be just as good as 24-70 with the IBIS in the R6 ?
Is what you’re photographing moving?
@@VanessaJoy possible , I want to specialize in outdoor portraits so at times my subjects can be moving just like in your photos with the family walking prompts.
Just a random thought here, if you are photographing an event the zooms are useful, if you are controlling a portrait session maybe a 35mm 85mm and or a 135mm prime
@@jeffreyhill4705 very random indeed, it also has nothing to do with my question
hi, that technique works best i think with a 35mm lens try it again and let me know if you agree with me Vanessa, off topic is there gym in there, just razing Jared
Which technique?
@@VanessaJoy shooting with the us of a prism
10:05 - Region locked DVDs so annoying. America is Region 1 while Europe is Region 2. It also affects games like on the PS1 & PS2.
lol so true
You actually can play EU DVD on your computer. All you need is some sort of DVD Ripper software. No analogies with Jack the Ripper! A-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a....
Lol quite true
What's fun about causing damage to her retina? 🤔
That’s why she looked down 99.9% of the time 😉
@@VanessaJoy not really, you had the strong light directly to her eyes most of the time you used it, anyway i wouldn't do that to anyone, especially for "fun".
@@gogoasa333 bless your heart
