Keep it up man it's awesome!
Much appreciated! Thank you
If honda built a non hybrid version I'm sure it would still be selling as we speak...
Oh absolutely no question about it!
IMO Honda dropped the ball twice with the NSX...
1st gen: needed more power, chassis was awesome.
2nd gen: the hybrid system
@@mrnonamenobody69101st gen was during the gentlemens agreement era so more power wasnt exactly an option
If Honda had its way Honda could revive the RLX with a V8 and a Bigger suv above the MDX with a V8 and this large suv could have bee named the Honda/Acura Prelude 🤤
I like the idea of a V8 Honda SUV but why would they have called it the Prelude?😄
@@Asphalt.X Because all true honda fans know they are going for the "Porsche " look amd it doesn't sit well ,especially if its not even goingto come close to 300 hp knowing honda . Honda could use a giant refreshed suv and I think the name prelude fits for something large and powerful
@@incognito5109 I like how you think! Unfortunately though I don't think 2024 is when Honda will start experimenting with V8 at all. All manufacturers wanna talk about electrification... 😔
@@Asphalt.X It is what it is . At least Honda has their jet series going and I hope theere is a soul out there that will put the honda boat motor in their car . I'm excited
The question is why didn't they build it sooner
My guess is they didn't need to, or perhaps Japan's economy in the early 2000s past its "boom"? Not 100% sure on that though
It should have been twin turbo V6 like 3000gt, rx7 etc, that era of turbo v6
It's why I can't do it if they were available and affordable
Too low on torque
I'm not opposed to a twin turbo NSX, that would've given it a different status.
'one of the wildest cars to come out of Japan'.
'wild experiment'
I dont know buddy, the NSX was great, but not 'wild' and there's nothing 'wild' about replacing a V6 with a V8. That's been a home garage job since the 50's.
Did you missed the part where the V8 was front mounted? I would say a front mounted V8 NSX is pretty wild
