Wow this is impressive, RDBMS, MySQL and all, you are really multi talented. I would say you are the most reliable and honest reviewer, and who takes viewer requests as well. Thanks.

On some of these channels you can't help but think that their real purpose is to drum up sales for the products reviewed - and that's fine, but then you wonder how much do they actually know about what they are talking about. Well after this video, I have to say that you are, in my opinion, on a much higher level than any of your fellow youtubers - thanks for sharing a very practical method of battery management. I'm sure it took a lot of time to get this to work, but at least you have total control over it.

Cool, thanks for sharing. This is an awesome setup. When I ran my load tests I found that a Victron smart shunt with it's Bluetooth ability also worked quite well. Although your setup is better especially for historical data and graphing.

Thanks for the vid. *YES* very special and very universal solution *for you* -(sounds funny)-
    - sub well deserved (as usual :). Unfortunately I don't own a defective BATRIUM (which I'm glad of:) Software seems well designed too _now_ what DataGrabber would you propose for us ?!

I need that equipment! I am doing my master degree and I need to make that graphic, what you did is amazing! Congrats

This is a great video and an awesome setup. I would suggest to be cautious with shunts at high current levels. Shunts tend to be inaccurate at at high currents due or hearing. For discharge measurements inaccuracies add up over the measurement period.

I smashed the like button because I know it helps your channel, even though I understood only about 22% of the content (the coding is way beyond me). The complete domination of substance over style keeps me coming back. I would love to see a "buy me a coffee" button added to your channel (which you could use for things other than coffee, I presume.). I'd smash that too. Just sayin'.

I like you choosing to earn the respect of your viewers first and realizing that's what keeps viewers like myself coming back to watch your videos over and over, not only informative but for a geek head like myself, everything just makes sense, thank you for being you and treating us with respect as well!

Very insightful! Cool to see, that you use Grafana for your setup. Been configuring a Grafana dashboard for my van solar setup recently!

What a great video. I wish I had the protocol docs for one of the BMSes I do have at the ready. I'd love to develop something like that just for the fun of it! I may get a batrium/watchmon BMS for all the wrong reasons, but the price is keeping me at bay, for now! Thanks very much for sharing all of this!

Nice and we appreciate you sharing your secret lol. I see a few testers using Grafana with the Victron smart shunt which I think may be easier to set up.

I use 2x Korad KEL-103 in parallel, and you can add more. Has a USB port which is easy to combine data in python and publish to your database.

I was wondering how you did this! Smart cookie - well above my paygrade, so I use an electronic load that goes up to 30A :) I'm sure you could do a similar thing with a Victron smart shunt.

I'd much rather a properly-rated electronic load that could do 0-60V and up to 50A or so, but... either don't exist or cost $5000 lol.

Hi Mike, great video as always. Thanks for the details - ignorant question; what is the purpose of the current shunt requiring battery voltage + as well? Cheers

There are electronic loads that handle hi voltage and amps.but they are expensive.

Hello sir , that’s what makes you unique and I trust what ever battery you put out their ! But I can see a lot of heaters and see your sub will go down ! When you could have been nice and sell the software I’m 100% it’s not rocket Science!
