Troubleshoot and Fixed well pump leak.

Troubleshoot and fixed well pump leak inside my pump house. Went to check it one day to see if it was ready to go for winter and turned out I had a water leak. It was not an instant find as the water was sounding like it was coming from my well head, which did not make sense. Upon further investigation, and a bit of luck from water spraying, I was able to find, fix and repair the leak. I hope that this video will help anyone else who may be in this situation.

I don’t have this problem at the moment, yet I have a well. A bit bigger, but it’s good to know what I can do myself before calling in the well pump company. Very well explained and shown clearly

Awesome video just how deep is that well. I am now having the same problem only mine is not coming out of the connection on the bottom. My bladder tank literally has a hole in the bottom side of it now with that being said the tank is 24 years old. It is a water ace brand. thank you for sharing your video

If it is from the tank then I would say it needs replaced for sure. Sounds like maby a weld failed or the bladder did. wish i had better news for you. thanks for watching!

Don't use self adhesive tape as a temp fix whatever you do... Any idea why this system would be set up without a main shutoff valve?

There is a main shutoff valve at the home but because it is a well system there is no head pressure when the power is turned off.
