This is how I fished for so many years. My biggest problem was I never explored the rest of n lakes when I would fish with minnows. it was easier to find a spot sit down and let the fish do the work. Times are different lol. Great video as usual.

Them minnows are way more deadlier than any plastic lure I’ve used.
Is fishing with minnows in the summer even advisable? It's 100+ degrees in the south east right now and literally nothing is biting lol I have 0 idea how to fish in the summer. Winter time is easy.

Everytime I use minnows I just happen to have some catfish try to eat it and break my 6 lb line every time it seems. I'll be wanting crappie and along comes a giant catfish just taking my line and hook and everything in a split second. I've learnt to loosing my drag a ton but still not having good luck. Guess I'm gonna go up to my medium rod with 12 lb test

9 times outta 10 the minnow dies the instant it hits the water on cast #1..... not hating.... just pointing out. . up north in Lake michigan I only drop minnows strait off the side for yellow bellies....cool video tho man. peace.
thanks man. honestly, I haven't been having that problem. In fact, most of the time my minnows stay alive for multiple casts, but maybe we are using different minnows or hooking techniques. thanks for watching brother. peace.
