Max, every man has a natural right to earn an income in any way they see fit (without creating a victim). Nevermind the haters and include all the sponsors as you see fit. If viewers leave, others will take their place. Fxck 'em yo!
Max what is the air compressor you use? I like the idea of it inside that case. Thinking of picking up a case and putting a compressor inside it and mounting in the bed of my truck. Thanks!
Really enjoyed the slower pace of this one. Packed a lot in 1 hour!
Glad you enjoyed it! I’ve been worried about posting such a long video.
Your candid conversation around the 48 minute mark brought tears to my eyes. I am a Navy veteran but never saw combat but was there in 2011 when the massive quake in Japan took so many lives. We were pulling bodies out of the ocean that had been there for awhile. Seeing stuff like that and thinking about it takes me to dark places. Getting off road and in nature is a great way to decompress.
Yeah man. I know the feeling all too well. Being outside and sharing good times with others who have similar experiences always seems to pull me out of it.
Maxx you've outdone yourself on this video. It was an excellent mix or good riding team work funny moments and very deep but relatable moments. The outdoors brings a sense of peace and joy and enjoying it with friends no matter how screwed your life may be it all disappears. I truly enjoyed this one and hope for more jusy like this.
So good to hear brother. Thank you for the feedback!
Maxx, I love your content! When I was at one of my lowest points I not only watched every single one of your videos but rewatched them multiple times. You bring such a wholsome and just relaxing precense in your videos and its just amazing to watch. This one reminded me of your original Moab guys trip ina lot of ways and I loved it.
Wow so good to hear man. I appreciate you watching all the content and I’m glad to hear it’s helped you through some tough times!
This has been my secret spot for a long time. Don't screw it up newbies. Enjoy the magic and the great fishing.
I wish I had bright a fishing pole! It was awesome out there
That was an epic trip! Thanks for allowing me to join you guys
You bet!
Will always be here to support you brother!
I feel you at 46:30 . Being in my mid 20's and just moving to WA last year with a bunch of my homies from elementary school. Its impressive to me how much I search for that feeling. Recently a lot of them have started going there own way and I've had to get out there and start making my own connection with newer people. Challenging at times but honestly helps me understand myself better then what I would have with my friends from back home. But to your point, having people that have your back with out owing them anything its really the peak of good friendships.
Good share wrapping this up. 🇺🇸
Fun video to watch!
Maxx, you are soooo ready for a Jeep!.. The gladiator would be perfect for you!
Hey buddy, see you are hitting up the Maxitdents again. 😅😅
always lol
Wow, those tundra cameras, esp. the top down one are pretty slick! Nice when they add stock features us wheelers plan to spend later. Good trip, excellent video!
Huge shout out to you guys from NORTHWEST Washington... I'm an outdoor UA-camr from the PNW. Just found your channel and I'm totally subscribing.... I recently purchased a 23 Tundra and I'm going to be doing some Mods to it.. Looking forward to watching the rest of your Vid. XPLRNW
Awesome! Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the content. Hope to run into you on the trail
Loved the video Maxx. I was surprised when you said it was coming to the end. It didn't seem like i had been watching it that long. I would love more videos like this.
Sounds good to me man. Glad you liked the video!
I made telescoping awning mounts for set ups like ours where you have a 270 awning next to an iKamper style tent. That way you can store it in tight while driving and slide it out for camping. Let me know if you want the plans. This is Dave with PullKitchen btw
Really enjoyed this one Maxx. Glad to see another video from you. Good to see you out enjoying yourself with a little less stress in life.
Yup theirs the Max we all know😂…Destroying a nice off-road Tundra
I think you meant “using a nice off road tundra” 😁
The views and the Maxxidents, instant classic! Glad you got to explore Hood. It was great to meet you guys when airing up. Keep killing it man, it's fun to watch someone enjoying what they do for a living!
Hey man. Good to meet you as well! 👊
Excellent video
Thank you very much!
Absolutely love watching overland content man. Hopefully soon I’ll be able to go through that trail with my 2nd Tacoma once I get a roof rack a bed rack and a roof top tent!
That looks super fun! You live in an awesome area for adventures. The guys you were with seem like real solid dudes
Thanks, it was a great trip
Maxx Awesome Adventure
Incredible Scenery and The Tundra looks Fabulous and nice video work
DUDES CLIMB IT YOU'LL LOVE IT
Taylor has been trying to convince me to climb it! It looks amazing.
Always great content, Max! Thanks for bringing us along with you. Bummer about all the damage, but it’s the price we pay sometimes for the memories that last a lifetime.
On day three - Your rode (?) lapel mic has some serious buzzing that could be heard in the left channel, fwiw. Not sure if you heard it during post, but thought I’d let you know because I was listening to your vid with ear buds.
Thanks again!
Awesome video maax✌️✌️
Great video! I can definitely relate to the need to get out and explore! Diesel smell also puts my mind right back in the seat of a humvee 😂
Haha same here man. Same here ☺️
Great video! Such a fun trip. Keep it up! 👍🏻❤️🇺🇸
Definitely climb Mt. Hood you will love it. Do some long hikes with a backpack for some training.
I will say, I found Heretic because of you and now it is all I run. I understand the sponsor posts being annoying but I never would have found heretic for all my dune rigs. Keep hammering
Thanks man. Good to know. I’m glad you’re loving those lights!
Dude needs to get the dawgs of that saw in that log a little more lol
You guys need to come to bc and do some wheeling in the east kootenays. There are so many neat trails, views that will blow your mind, alpine lks ,glaciers and very few people.
Sounds perfect to me man!
Great video. Really enjoy the long form video content.
Glad to hear it!
One of your best videos ever!
So good to hear man. Should I keep doing longer videos like this or stick to shorter episodes?
Do a mix of both
Some short then hit us with a long one like this
I agree. It was great to be part of it
@@Maxx.Powell The long format is great because it allows us to follow alongside the story. This episode just felt more personal. You did that a few years ago when you shared the more raw side of life after the fire dept. Just keep making movies man!
great video!
Thanks for the visit
Great video!
Thanks for watching. So glad you liked the video!
It's crazy how on video the 40s don't look that big... then someone stands by them... holy..
Absolutely love the long videos!!!
Glad you like them! That’s great feedback!
@@Maxx.Powell I realize that it probably doesn’t help whatever the UA-cam algorithm since it seems to be trending more videos but much shorter so it’s nice every once in awhile to have long one to sit back and enjoy some coffee too and plan on making my next adventure! Thank you for what you do!!!
Max, you can always start off slow and do some backpacking, then peak bagging and transition into the mountaineering.
I’ve done a fair share of rucks and high mountain hunting. It’s hard work! Lol. I think back packing trips would be cool! 🏔️
Hell Ya, I think a majority of your audience would enjoy some shooting/firearm content thrown in there too @@Maxx.Powell 😉
You should most definitely climb that mountain. I’d imagine the content would be insane!
It would be pretty intense!
Hey, great video, good to meet you last night at the lake up at Naches track me down sometime!
MCC ADVENTURE,
Get a exped mega mat mattress for your tent. Mattress deflates down to less than a inch and is probably more comfortable than your house mattress. Get expeds widget inflator if you buy the mattress. Inflates it in around a minute. You can probably leave your sleeping bag ect. Inside the tent with this mattress.
I’ll check that out man. That sounds like the right move for me
I picked up a Lost Horizon self inflating foam core 4" thick mattress from Amazon. Pretty good as well
Bc of this scenario I’m getting LCA skids! Lol
It’s been 84 years.. glad you’re back, lol.
I thought it be cool to post one long video to see if it would do better. Now I’m wishing I broke this into three videos.
I personally love the longer videos but understand there’s a lot of people with short attention spans 😂
For your hcalory did you have any issues when first using with the air coming in smelling like gas fumes? Not sure if I need to run mine for awhile but first time I used it it smelled awful
Love the video!! I wanted to ask, do you like the Ironman tent and awning more than your Freespirit Recreation tents?
For the price yeah they are about the same comfort and quality
It's super active.
I had the same tent. It was stolen from the grocery store while i was getting groceries. Same week i got laid off from work. 1st week of January
Ouch. That’s a shitty week! Best of luck to you man. Keep your head up👊. I had 10k worth of camera gear stolen once
I don’t care if you make sponsored content, do what you gotta do to keep the content going, but I don’t agree with driving off trail purposely and causing damage to the forest, it’s fine when your in an ohv area but national forest isn’t the place to be doing that, it puts everyone’s access in jeopardy and isn’t a great example of how we should be treating these area
Good point man. I appreciate it.
Looks like Erebor in the distance.
I need a diesel heater too. Which one are you running?
@Maxx.Powell Great video, this is the type of content I look for. Maybe get yourself a medium size waterproof duffel for all of your sleeping gear and you can just stuff your bags, pillows, pajamas, and whatever all in there and throw it in the back of the truck, or in the back seat.
Great to hear you liked this video! Great idea
Everyone knows a Tundra just can’t resist humping a sexy log, especially this close to mating season.
Have you had any issues with the Tundra with transmission overheating while offroading? I have seen a couple people say they had that happen. I'm thinking they likely were crawling it in 4 hi didnt have it in 4lo like they should. Anyway figured i ask since you offroad yours alot. I just finally got a 23 tundra limited TRD off-road. I absolutely love this thing. Thanks. 🤙🏻
I haven’t had any issues like that yet but I will keep that in mind!
Yes lol idling diesel reminds me of military 😅
Climb Hood then Rainier 🤙🏼
Don't post the coordinates, 😂lol. Those are some of my favorite spots 😢
I’ll keep that in mind man. I don’t really post coordinates
Love your episodes but please help Maui HI. There's alot of cool trucks there, as well as Maui Off road shop. Sell some merchandise for proceeds
Cool idea! I’ll see what I can come up with!
@@Maxx.Powell As a fireman myself in AL and a Maui boi, this was just a thought. Sent same comment to Hoonigan and Donut media. Lot of cool off road spots on Maui and trucks. Thx
For the fenders could you just extend the bump stops?
That’s not a bad idea as a temporary solution
I have so many questions about that Gladiator. Is he on UA-cam, and if so, who is it?
why not just either put a 36" tire on it, or put a small body lift on it. Either way would solve your tire/fender problem?
mentioning treading lightly but yet you guys tromped through there with no abandon, its stunts like this that cause areas to get gated and closed, I have witnessed this personally in that national forest and willamette national forest plus santiam state forest. Plus it puts a black eye on the overlanding community as a whole as well! You are going down a slippery slope with stuff like this.
I would watch each of your videos as they came out in the past few years. I thought you had quit man, YT wasn't serving any of your new videos lately, least not to me. YT algo is so fickle
I’m not surprised man. I think I got shadow banner or something my videos haven’t been suggested to my audience for a while. Glad to have you back!
Climb Mt. Hood. Bring back old Maxx please…
Max wtf are you shooting with? The quality is ISNANE!!!
Thanks man. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate that! I’ve been working on dialing my camera work. I’m using a Sony A7R5
What awning do you have?
Hey man, I have the Ironman 270 awning!
@@Maxx.Powell thanks for the reply. Happy adventures.
18:37 you know that hurts as much as he plays it off. Id be unbelievable upset if it did thay to my $65000 overlanding rig doing something so dumb
No more cattle, wife cancelled her OF account, no more product sponsorships -- what is this world coming to?!
Started a business dude! Making honest money 💰
you let him back right into that tree bruh cmon
So much for treading lightly forcing their way into a campspot that was clearly not an entry point ..
Bad karma for overland community do not do this..!
You destroyed a perfectly good rotten log. How dare you😡
Fuck the people who say shit, if it’s putting money in your pocket sounds like a win to me! Also maxxcident never fails 😂
You know you want a jeep 😂 just give in already you'll be happier 🙅🏻♂️
