Oh hi
Hart squad!
Congrats on the blastoise and charizard
Hi there
Leonhart
Senpai noticed us!
Anyone know how much you could get for full arts? Cuz I have like 3, a heracross ex, mew ex, and hoopa ex.
Proud to say I had 3 Charizards as a kid. They weren't 1st edition or anything, but I'm proud to say I had 3.
I had 2 one old not first edition but I lost one in airport
I had two first editions but my drug addict brother sold them in 2010
I unboxed a first edition shadowless charizard some months ago

As an avid Baseball Card Collector for most of my life, I am really happy to see this take off like it has!
I really respect the hobby, and I am thrilled that there are now multiple Generations who are collecting Cards... Whether they be Baseball, Football, Pokémon, or otherwise!
Shout out to everyone who had Pokemon Cards banned at their school.
OMG, and Yu-Gi-Oh!!
Yep me and my friends had our cards partially banned at school basically we could play the game and trade them during recess but during class and lunch we had to keep them put up.
My school banned pokemon, beyblade, and Lego figures, I would say yugioh but not a lot of people played that in my old school
It was yugioh for me
Pokémon, game boys, beyblades, and yu gi oh
I want all of them
Wo it’s the subnoodle man
Obviously
Mine is the chirizard
I have 3 Charizards I live in india I will give 1 Charizard of 5000 dollars
Gotta catch em all?
When I was younger I never understood the value of Pokemon cards and how much they could sell for... now that I’m an adult I have realized I messed up because my cousin had given me his Pokemon cards and it had the first Gen holo charizard and I ended up getting it washed with my shorts which totally ruined it
F
Bro I had probably over 500 pokemon cards collection and stuff gave it all to my cousin after 2 years he gave me it back and guess what? The stupid kid has gave away most of my cards for free to other people which included rare cards
Yet a series of similar events like thus is why there are only a few left.. So you actually contributed to the high demand the card has today. I am also a victim. Had countless charizards in my hands. A first edition blastoise I remember having too.. Got lost as I got older
@@yvng_greenbean8019 it’s all fomo bro. At the time they weren’t worth anything.
F
I used to own the 1st edition cards when we were a kid, I didnt know they would have a value like these today
That part
Man it killing me I just gave away my cards the other day Donated to Goodwill

And 2022 = $5,200,000 illustrator

@@jaywu5134 just like these weren’t worth much 20 years ago, the ones you have rn may not be worth much now but give it a few years. Don’t make the same mistake as before and get them before they get a chance to skyrocket
Charizard may as well be the franchise mascot with how much love he gets.
He basically is man before pikachu
Pikachu is for children, Charizard is for adults

Hello guys
My brother who was a 90s kid must have had so many good ones,it’s so sad how our mom never keeps anything from our childhood.i can only dream of finding one for cheap
10 years ago, I bought a holographic, 1st edition, fossil Hitmonlee for only $20!😁
(SO HAPPY I STILL HAVE IT!!)
Seriously?? How much does it sell for now ??
I had the hole collection of Pokemon cards and my best friend stole them and ran away from his home with them and his dad's wallet , never saw him or the cards again , now 30 years later I'm thinking how much they would be worth today 😔
Who Remember The 1999 Burger King Pokémon Balls With The Gold Metal Cards inside Of Them 😃
I was born in 2006
Holy cow. That's before my time
I do, they were so cool
Meeeee! I think my first one was Jigglypuff.
Have got 3 of them sitting on my shelf 😀

Charizard card
Sure.
This is why I just started getting back into Pokémon cards. Yea the ones releasing now may not have much value, but they will 10-20 years from now. Especially the new base set with Scarlet Violet
It's hard to say. People are saving and not even opening way more product now than they were back then. The vintage stuff will always have value simply because not as much of it has survived in decent condition, and it was not printed in nearly the same quantity as modern sets
The rarest card I have is probably my shadowless, holographic, first edition Poliwrath from 1999. It's still in pretty good shape too.
Back in the day.
You were one of the s tier kids in school if you had decks of these.
What’s s teir?
Cant tell if you're making a joke, or you're serious. Considering you name is "the gaming goblin".
@@mr.twists9302 I also don't know what s tier means
Think of s Tier as being in one of the top ranks in a certain category. Like how the smash bros characters are all placed in certain lettered lists ranging from d tier which I believe is the lowest and s being the highest ranks.
Wtf is “S Tier”? Clearly most people don’t know what that is .
When I was a kid a friend of mine had a shiny Celebi. His church held a "Give up your sin" party for kids to get rid of their satanic Pokemon cards and it was sadly a casualty.
Sounds like a pretty dumb church.
@Broly The Sarcastic Savage Coming from a Christian family myself thankfully none of the churches I went to were this dumb that being said I was born in 2000 so that may have something to do with it.
I can relate about the sin thing lol I love pokemon anyway
Never trust churches or that religion I’ve seen more bad and horrible stuff from that religion than any other.
@@allhailpotato960 that’s why I’m catholic
I remember an older friend I had got the 1st edition Blastoise. He boasted how he spent $100 on cards and that was the only good one. At the time I never knew about holographic.
You are missing a very critical part of these cards. For instance, on the venesaur, the clip of it being pulled was a shadowed venesaur, but the picture of the graded card, was a shadowless venusaur
He literally mentioned that exact point.
Is it just me or is youtube Broken.. Cuz I can't watch anything rn
Good to have youtube back.. It was gone for 5 mins and I started panicking

Yup I thought it was my internet

Yeah no UA-cam for me either, either all of our internet shut off at the same time or UA-cam's broken
For those that don't know, Pokémon cards are that expensive bcs. of the rarity, some features that make them unique are holographs, shadow, and what edition it is. Bcs. of that rarity, people sell these cards in a high price, and the buyers sell it higher.
I once had a 1st edition Dark Magician, and it was sold for $7000. It's not much, but I didn't understand card values.
Pretty sure literately EVERYONE knows this shit
I actually bought all 3 of the 1st Edition Gen 1 Starter cards at my very first anime convention back in New York City and because I stopped collecting cards 14 years ago, I never realized just how rare they were XD I drained my wallet from buying them, but I got no regrets 😅
I have the pikachu illustrator my grandpa gave me it since i was a kid i feel so lucky to see that it values alot.
Out of all these cards, I own the Venusaur.
Remember that Smosh video of Ian and Anthony wanting that Charizard card?
Yea the good old times
Yes I miss those times
Imagine how many cards got rip in school back in the day and now your like i had that card as a kid now it worth a house and a car😂😂😂😂😂
I grew up in the 90’s and when Pokémon came out,we all loved it.I collected all the cards I could get, literally had a full book.Wish I could remember where I left that book.
Thanks for posting my article on the Ishihara GX section at 6:02
Damn this brings back alot of good memories...I was 13 when the cards starting getting hot in 98 and 99 and at first I would just hustle em but I started to like to collect and trade them myself and no card was more elusive to me at the time than Charizard...I remember I had 2 and one was really scratched up but I still got $125 for it... good memories man
I have watched soo many Leonhart vids but I never saw the one with the dude from Lootbox (I can't remember which one is Gin or Juice at the moment). I love to watch all of these awesome people open packs for us.

The moment when u realised u had the shining charizard in gem contition but was not shadowless.. :(
my favourite card what I have too is Eiscue V it looks so good and it's even very useful!
Very happy now that my collection of 1st edition which I kept have some values along with tazoos, zenga cards ad many more 😎😎😎😎😎
I had a first edition charizard card back in the day. It had a bent edge and was scratched when I traded for it, but that was easily my favorite card. And like a child, I carried it around with me. It eventually went into the washer with my dragonite card. That was a dark day in my childhood.
Who else used to open Pokémon card packs like Charlie opening the willie wonka chocolate bar hoping to get that golden ticket?
2:45 All English 1st Edition Cards (except from only one) are shadowless. It's the 1st Edition and the MINT 9 what makes it so expensive. With "shadowless" usually cards are meant which are without a shadow but which are not from the 1st edition.
I used to like collecting cards. But now there's too many big names and inflated prices. So I had to say my goodbyes, it's just not fun anymore.
They cost so much considering they are just square pieces of coloured cardboard
that's pretty much paper money too
Pretty much much like 1st edition Star Wars toys. Cheapest kind of plastic, yet insane value.
Let’s admit it, some of the artwork on these cards is better than the Mona Lisa. I said it😎
Yea but at least they dazzle u a bit..old ass baseball cards like Honus Wagner are just a pulpy photo and get a million for it

My favorite childhood memory was going absolutely ballistic in the car when I got a holo charizard. Scared my grandpa from yelling and screaming oh the memories.
I do have the old charzhard, but i did think it only was worth like 20 bucks!
i had the charzhard i was buying a jacket on amazon and in the box there was that card I pinky swear
To be worth that much money it must be first edition and also be in good condition. I have a base set charizard from when I was a kid and I looked it up on eBay. It was worth about 200$ because it has a couple scratches and is not first edition.
@@Giedrocz first edition, AND shadowless. another limitation lol.
I thought Ninetales was going to be on the list tbh, or at least an honorable mention. Back when Gen 3 was just becoming a thing, I remember hearing talk of how, at the time, a First Edition Japanese Holographic Ninetales could net you a couple grand potentially. If it was that valuable back then, I couldn't imagine how much one would go for these days.
Next do most expensive Yu-Gi-Oh cards
@Samuel LockW facts
A shiny Stardust Dragon is very expensive when I went to a couple of Anime Festivals and it looked so cool, glittering, and beautiful.
@@omegagiratina3090 the winner would be Ten Thousand Dragon, who's price is averaging around US$2000 or Tyler the Great Warrior, which is practically priceless due to there being only 1 copy in existance

Yo I Almost forgot my aunt has a huge collection of Pokémon cards from the early 2000’s we need to see if any of them have some value.
Had a ton of the most expensive originals in a few binders along with my two brothers we took very good care of them but we took them everywhere. Had the binders in a shopping cart while shopping with our mother when someone snatched them. Whoever did, and if they were taken care of them has at least a couple million dollars worth of cards.

ProtoStoise is worth a huge chunk of change as it’s the first ever English printed card. Blastoise is very popular and I believe if the owner of the CGC 8.5 were to put it in the market today, he will easily get over $700k. Only one that exist in the grade. Extremely rare and historical. Anyways, I've owned a few of the Crystal series cards before, as well as a few of the Shining Star cards. I don't have them anymore though. As it goes for anyone else in a similar situation, had I known how things would play out, I would have held onto them.
Currently, I'm rebuilding some collection stuff. Obviously i have no shot at the real crown jewels of the card world, but I do have a few cards of decent value. I'm still in possession of a few cards from the Aquapolis and Skyridge sets. I have the Aquapolis Ninetales (holo rare) still and it is floating around for $100-250 dollars depending on source. Nothing amazing, but not cheap either.
With the exception of the 1st Ed Base set Ninetales and any misc JP promo versions I"m not aware of, I have every other Ninetales printing available. Again, I'm sure there are a couple misc promo prints that I don't even know about, but still. (Yes I have the VS series ones)
My only question now is do I bite the bullet and pick up some of the $$$ cards now, or hope things settle down again later....
I think it's just human nature to love a Charizard...and never let go...what a beastly card...
Thank you logic and logan for raising the prices on cards in general...
