The Nomos horween shell cordovan straps are actually made by Fluco, who are a German company. You can buy a Fluco-branded horween strap for around half the price of a Nomos item. Also, genuine shell cordovan straps will many times longer than most other leather straps, so the initial increased cost is offset in the long term.
Interesting video i will chek those nato straps for shure. I would add Rios straps to this list. They have really big variety of really interesting leathers that have they're own shine and texture specific to them.
cool vid, maybe you should also have some vid on deployant clasps. I mean, there are many good watches that come with leather straps but a regular buckle. brands like IWC will sell an original one for hundreds of euros and on the other hand of the spectrum there are 1$ clasps. I have no idea what the real difference is. are there decent places with good generic clasps that are reasonably priced? I don't want to spend to much but I also don't want to 'break' my leather strap by using a regular clasp... also, I don't want to put, for example, a sinn clasp on non sinn watch that's why I wrote 'generic' clasp.
I have to say that I own several Blu Shark straps (two that you show) and the one BIG criticism I can make that others should be aware of is that the keepers have much to much space. That is to say the strap material thickness is definitely not in proportion to the spacing inside the keepers. The fix would be thicker strap material or more practically better designed keepers. For this reason I will be very careful buying more Blu shark straps.
Very helpful review which gives me some new places to look for straps. I got my 1st Colareb this week for the Breitling Aerospace & must say it won't be my last. Also, see the interesting comment below regarding Fluco, and remember to update us on your Instagram. Cheers
Trying to find a decent rubber strap (non sticky) to put on a new Fortis which came with an odd feeling something billed as leather, but with a vegetable feel to it. The Italian line you mentions sounds good, hope I can locate it in LA.
nice vid. always seem to struggle with straps. it's very difficult to tell what you're getting from an image on a computer screen. did laugh at the way you couldn't even bring yourself to mention one of your competitors by name. I like a bit of disdain on an easter sunday morn!
Do you by chance have the name of the first blushark strap shown at the very beginning of the video? I've searched through their site and can't seem to find it.
Can you make a video about watch bracelets..maybe like top 5 watches with the best bracelet or maybe even your top 5 aftermarket watch bracelet makers... Regardless... thanks for the great content on your channel.
Not a fan off NATO's! Nothing wrong with them it's just I wear big diver and tool watches like pilots watches ect and to me I want the heft that comes with a top quality SS bracelet especially the engineers style

Yes, "he who should not be mentioned" is a dick-head but Colareb straps ARE none-the-less very good.
For the love of humankind please get a pop shield!
Nice video! What's your opinion on Hirsch straps?

No links to any of them in the description?
+mountainhobo: Excellent observation, now there are.

Your channel is exceptional!
많이 풀렸어요! 감사합니다. 매일 따라 하여야겠습니다.
Hey !
What do you think about "quick release" bands, like Barton's one (which are not expensive, but seem great, correct me if it's wrong) ?

I can vouch for Nomos and Bulang & Sons. Both great, especially Bulang.

Nice, vid mate.
I'm pleased that some one out there has recognised B&S.
Keep up the good work mate.

Fat Boab tgv did ding him a bit for review ing watches from pictures instead of actual watches that you have.
if they wan't to fill a paddling pool with spaghetti hoops and throw down to settle this then who am I to interfere???
Fat Boab just a little pissing contest from across the pond
The strap as seen in the video thumbnail? I need that one for my sinn 104 white dial =)

I have great difficulty finding straps long enough for my 7 and 5/8 in. wrist.

You can say the urban gentry. It won't kill you.
What's the intro music? I like it but I'm an ignorant about classical music.
I really like it too but I don't know either... Someone please find out
Thanks :)
Nice video. May i suggest a name. Steve-o-straps. Google him. I have had a few high end straps from him, fantastic quality.
