loooong time vylet fan here (since _Horse Friends,_ around 2014), and it's been really interesting seeing this album blow up in the way that it did if i recall correctly, "LESBIAN PONIES WITH WEAPONS" was created in a day and is, as of right now, her most-viewed original song plus the runaway success of "ANTONYMPH" did a lot to take this album's hype outside her core audience like when it first released, _CUTIEMARKS_ climbed up to number 1 on Rate Your Music's charts, and it became her top-selling album on its last day of pre-orders personally, while i'm still not the biggest fan, i can't deny the musicianship and vocal prowess that's on display even in my least favorite songs and it's always fun to hear what people's favorite songs are off this album, haha also you aren't kidding about her putting out a *lot* of music 2019 was a wild year to be a fan of hers; she put out _Homeward_ in January, _Love Letters: Colourless_ in June, and _Queen of Misfits_ in December they're all pretty wonderful, and they're all around 20 songs each
My current earworm from Vylet is "The Yak Song", even though I don't know the character it's about, and I'm not that big into EDM, just something about her music I really enjoy.
What is your take on dltzks debut LP? Since I heard this album and vylets over the past year I kind felt the similarity from hyperpop and a huge influence of porter robinson's release.
Frailty was pretty good, but I think I enjoy it a bit less than most listeners- my main gripe was that the vocals often felt limited and held back, but i think the general vibe zeke wanted to create was really nailed and unique. you can find a thorough review (in text though) here: www.albumoftheyear.org/user/shazzy/album/418876-frailty/ The rating is a bit outdated though, i think i would give it a 70-75 now, it grew on me a little bit ^^
