- The Pontiac Aztek is a race car? You’d better believe it! Our drivers hit the dragstrip in their Azteks, swept through O’Reilly Auto Parts for a shopping spree to find the parts and accessories that will lead one of them to victory, and took some time to make the necessary preparations for the big rally race. And now, the time has come for the grand finale: one of our four drivers will be crowned the first ever champion of the Aztek 200!

I think this would be great as a "Cheap Car Challenge". Give them each budget to buy the car, then do the drag race. They then can use the rest of the budget to fix it up before the big race.

I had a 92 metro hatchback and I’m confident I could’ve won this race in that car. They are really impressive for being so small. It’s a Suzuki 3 cylinder engine but with the standard transmission and front wheel drive I think it could win.
That would have been funny if someone ended up in the Metro early and it turned out to be faster.
Next series I’d love to see RWD manuals. Maybe Chevy S10/Sonoma 4cyl. Good stuff!

Reminds me of high-school. Dodge omni, Chevy Vega, Chevy sprint, dodge dart, doing exactly that. We took some years of those cars. Saw many iowa and Minnesota ditches and fields 😂

Very Nice! Very Entertaining! Definately should do it again. More challenges for more upgrades. full episodes of working on the vehicles. Also upgrades for the back up vehicle, with all the drivers working on it.
