Bro you're so blessed to go to the Tokyo game show as an influencer I went with the public and it was hella packed to the point you could barely do or see anything 😅
Another weekend another hunt another game but still the same man in Japan Pim/4amLaundry it’s always a pleasure enjoy your day my man great video I can’t wait for the new Live I’ve seen the other live the other day it was an awesome show/convention/expo
Those DS games we're great prices, I think my next japan vvisit I'll focus on DS and Vita. ALIEN STORM! I'd have purchased that, loved the game as a kid AND as a adult. Great video as always Pim, you're the man and I get to window shop through you each week, building my hype for Japan trip 2.
shoutout to OG PSX namco museum! I had all the US versions at one point, it was such a neat collection I loved the 'virtual museum' presentation of it.
Time to create my own map to get the best games during my trip next year. Have two weeks in April and going to check out some games. Thanks for the tour
Had Alien Storm on the Mega Drive when I was young. Thought it was fun, but with my critical adult eyes on, it's probably more do-do than my nostalgia thinks ;) Some great selections there, hope you can showcase a wider selection of platforms on your streams and videos (Neo Geo AES/CD, Sega Game Gear, etc...) but appreciate you can't show everything all the time and ultimately no complaints either way :)
I actually show Wonderswan (Color) and NGPC any chance I get as I'm a fan of those but other than in specialty shops like Surugaya they're unfortunately few and far in between
@@4amLaundry The NGPC was something I was only vaguely aware of until recently, it's a surprisingly cool little system with some decent games. Will probably stick to emulation for those unless the urge strikes me or I find a bargain. Knew nothing about the Wonderswan at all until earlier this year, partly due to your coverage of it, so happy to see all the wild, weird, and wonderful consoles/games Japan has to offer. Such an amazing and vast library that a lot of us in the west have so little knowledge of :)
I'm surprised that after all these years I'm also constantly learning about cool stuff we missed out on in the west haha, as a fan of handhelds I'd love to get my hands on a NGPC one day, that's one console I don't mind paying a premium on.
@@4amLaundry I'm sure you're acutely aware, but shouldn't pay more than Y9k for a loose one and Y15k for a boxed one. Outside of Cotton (that game is crazy expensive!), most games are pretty reasonable. I get the impression that as soon as seller/resell store sees the Neo Geo logo it's a license to slap a big price on it. So rare to find anything resembling a bargain on the NG front :(
I have the Namco Encore boxset from Japan which has Rolling Thunder on it. Comes in a big gate fold box which opens up with the Encore game disc in there, with 5 spaces for the N A M C O predecessors. My N A M C O collections are all USA editions which are housed inside. Pretty good hunt, although my tastes are more expensive so even if not buying, please cover the expensive show cases. I'm done with all the cheap games in Japan apart from maybe 3 games, the rest are hard to find rare games.
Dig the channel… I appreciate your authenticity and enthusiasm! Can you please show some more games from the handheld systems? (ie. PSP, PS Vita, 3DS, GBA, etc.) I would love to see what you find out there in the wild!
Thanks! Always appreciate the feedback, I agree we should be focusing more on DS and PSP. I have to admit that I neglect the DS specifically because it's a pain editing the dual screen footage lol. I love handhelds and should be beefing up my handheld collection for sure.
7/11 Japan just took over the Australian branches and have remodelled to be more Japanese. Its really nice as we're starting to get some Japanese exclusive foods now like Onigiri and the Rice Balls/Sandwiches. Certainly brings back Conbini memories, even if it isnt exactly the same.
This comment isn't just for the algorithm or because he sent me from his live stream. I actually really enjoy the content and sincerely wish you'd promote this dude for his dope work! Thanks youtube gods...🙏🔥
Do you sell games on Ebay? I collect a ton of stuff(not vintage games..yet). I am able to make a living dealing in the stuff I collect, plus I am able to expand my collections. Is this how you are living in Japan? My buddy collects vintage games but is totally against selling any. He's sitting on a fortune and doesn't really have a ton of cash but he doesnt care.
The best way to help the channel is to engage, drop a like & comment!
The Legend of Pim Continues
Would you consider selling that sealed PS2 Goemon Bouken?
Bro you're so blessed to go to the Tokyo game show as an influencer I went with the public and it was hella packed to the point you could barely do or see anything 😅
Love the channel bro, takes me back to my time in Japan and the retro game hunting in particular.
ps: De groeten uit nederland Pim ;)
Great video Pim, you have been on a roll at the minute finding some absolute gems. thanks again for all your hard work on and off streams.
Epic! without this channel I wouldnt know about Snack World which looks like a great franchise
Recently found your channel & have got to say I've missed out. Watched a couple of your videos already & love it, keep up the great work 👍🏾
The scene at the end, down at the river edge reminded me of the guy down there picking weeds in the IRL stream. That dude was diligent.

Japan is just filled to the brim with all these gaming related stuff . And most are well taken of too

Time to create my own map to get the best games during my trip next year. Have two weeks in April and going to check out some games. Thanks for the tour

Saw you at TGS indie section!! (I am pretty sure… I think lol)
Always a like for the Streets of Rage OST!
looks like you’re gaining about 1k subs every couple of weeks now.

new sub thank you
I got to go check this place out
cant believe they use combination locks, 3 digits, to lock their display cases
i think the Japanese are less degenerate thief's than other cultures.
Looking to buy a cheaper 3ds and/or ps vita soon in Japan. What store would you recommend for the best prices?
Always wondered, what do you do during the week? Work a job?
No live streams this weekend?
Not this weekend no, next week onwards there's back to back livestreams again.
Plz make some video on audio media I mean blank audio cassette dvd vhs etc.thanks in advance
Wow, I bought Kirby 2 boxed like the one you show, in Akihabara. It was 10 years ago, but I paid a quarter of that price. That's insane.😅
That was an insanely high price lol, I got mine for about 500 yen, you can still find it for that if you venture far enough
@@4amLaundry really? where? I bet you hae to get out of Tokyo to find better deals...
how's the switch game prices?
This comment isn't just for the algorithm or because he sent me from his live stream. I actually really enjoy the content and sincerely wish you'd promote this dude for his dope work! Thanks youtube gods...🙏🔥
Do you have any Kinniku Banzuke games?

Your buddy sounds like a cool guy.
