black engine paint is not always the best idea although it looks good. You want a brighter coloured exterior to be able to identify oil leaks quickly

Its a 12ht but running to good to pull apart .but i do have a spare one makes me wanna get into that one .greatvid mate.also good to see aussie videos as well

Q. do you have any video or details about the 12ht injection pump, how you installed and checked the injection timing?

Nice one. I guess this is a demonstration vid as opposed to educational? I know its a pain in the arse to stop/start but u could explain how to do some things?
- setting up / spacing ring gaps
- checking / measuring bore, gudgeons, pistons etc (u did check head straight!)
- valve adjustment process (& check rockers & shaft etc)
- cyl head torque procedure etc
But I guess if someone attempts this sorta thing they Really Oughta use the "Bible".. like u said. 👍

Nice donk, did you put in the better pistons with stronger metal piston ring slots (I forget what they're called) that can handle more boost?
And did you delete the pre heater or was that already gone?

What rebuild kit did you end up using?
Engines Australia, awesome kit
Did to just wipe everything and put it back in, I thought you would need to polish and slip some sleeves in the cylinder holes and lots more with the crankshaft, etc. Do you also sometimes just clean everything and slim everything back in? Would it be beneficial for the time spent!!

Hello. Where you found all parts for 12 ht engine? Sensors and everything else? What place is the best for buying quality parts in Europe or Australia?

how do you rememeber where everythings go? serious question, thats what stops me doing any machanical work, is there a system you work with or its all memory?
Just grab yourself a notepad and record as much as you can, take photos of everything and organise bolts into a dividing container and you’ll be sweet mate

Have you got the engine or chassis number, I would love the oil cap with Toyota on it.

where did you pick up your 12HT? wreckers? imported?
