You're the first reactor to do this, so when it blows up you can say you were the OG.
I love this mans reaction. The joy it brings him and the surprise on his face. And jeff writing such a beautiful love song to his guitar is a thing of beauty
Being a student of music and having struggled all my life for each note, I can say without question this is the finest composition I have heard in over ten years. I was fortunate enough to be watching this episode of TCKS when Jeff Performed this tune. At the end of the show I was off and running to see what else Jeff has done, he's done a lot of outstanding stuff, who knew! Peace & Love to all....
I found his music over a decade ago and was blown away. Jeff is an extremely talented guitarist and song writer.
I was pleasantly surprised by this. Wow!
I've been listening to Jeff Daniels for 10+ years. As soon as I got spotify I added him right away. Absolute legend!
All of us “What is happening!?!” Kelly “What is happening!?!”
😂🤯
Yooooo!!! I never knew!! So glad you did this reaction, I absolutely had no idea about Jeff Daniels. And he’s so good! What an amazing song writer!!
Me and my buddies got drunk with Jeff in a Minneapolis dive bar called Stand Up Franks many years ago.
Jeff is a poet!
I've been a big fan of his for years, but mainly as an actor. He played some guitar when he was on the show Newsroom, which was when I first learned he could play. I had since checked out his other stuff, he's just a fantastic player.
So unexpected and such a lovely song.
I’m so glad you reacted to this! I couldn’t get over how great this song is and how great he is! Great reaction @Fisch!
I just saw the clip from the show and it absolutely BLEW me away!
That was awesome. Gave me some goosebumps
I love your videos man, always give me a smile, I like your personality and how you think about these songs in a similar way to me. Jeff Daniels was unreal and I hope he gets the credit he's due like you have given him 😁👏🏻
In the finale of Newsroom, he played and sang “That’s how I got to Memphis” and did a good job. I have been listening to Jeff Daniels music for over a decade now and can’t believe that more people don’t know about his music. Look up his song that I believe is called “Mile 417”. It’s mile 4-something, I suck with numbers.
Love that guy
Beautiful voice, lovely melody, impressive Travis picking...
Awesome! What a great song to a partner that is always there for you.
“… where’d all your bridges go?”… “Man, I burned’em all…” 🤣👍🏻👏
everybody was "What is happening?" on this video hahauhuahuahuahuaha AWESOME!!!!
This is SO wholesome
Good job mate!.👍
Zebedee from Oz. 👌
Damn I had no idea he could sing. He’s got a nice voice. I can hear a little bit of Willie Nelson and a little bit of Bruce Springsteen in his tone
My favourite line was, You turned my never evers into maybe I just might.
Lucero song My Best Girl was my favorite guitar song until this!! So good! I had no clue he could write and play that well!
Love that song from Lucero
Check out his rendition of "Al Kaline'. It is in the Baseball Hall of Fame. Great stuff.
I was going to say do "My Best Girl" from Lucero, but I see somebody beat me to it. Jeff Daniels surprised me with this one.
When an amazing actor discovers he missed his calling .😅
Jeff has been playing music for a long time …
He wrote this quite a few years ago - it's not new. It's just because he played it on Kelly Clarkson last week that everyone is going nuts. He's been a singer/songwriter/performing musician for years . . . decades . . .
John Mayer-Last Train Home (Ballad Version) PLEASE!!
Okay quick correction he's not using all fingers believe it or not look at the video closer he's doing what they call Travis picking using his thumb and his index finger but he's really good at it
Man reminds me of Gordon Lightfoot!
I’ve listened to several of his albums on Spotify, I’m sure he was influenced by Lightfoot, John Prine and Steve Goodman.
React to Psycho by hardy
He in a band back in the day. Before Full House.
He wasn’t in full house lol
You are right. Wrong guy. My bad
Honestly when you said that I was like holy smokes I never realized that was uncle Joey haha I had to google it
Secrets by Tyler Braden Plssssssss
Yo Yo what up? who talks like that?
His name is Jeff not Jack.
Jeff is a really good songwriter and a great guitar player.
That guitar is a late 1930s Martin. originally an arch top with the F holes.
Sound like ChumLee from pawn stars
I don't recall saying Jack.
React to james taylor bbc fire and rain.
Original. 😏
I think someone has been listening to Chris SMITHERS me thinks 🤔
I've never heard his song and now you butcher it by stopping it before anyone can hear the whole song is wring
The link to the original is in the description
Dude, you so miss the point of the song. It is giving thanks to the Lord for his gifts. The use of the Guitar is just one way of thanking him. I am a guitarist and I wish I could play a 10th as good as Daniels. Yeah, I am not good at it.
C'mon man! Shutup and let the guy do his song!
After seeing this Clarkson piece I listened to a number of his other tunes and didn't find a single one that was near this quality of writing.
