Fantastic cover of the Buddy Holly classic. Judith’s voice and the harmonies with the rest of the Seekers were excellent. You are sorely missed Judith R.I.P. 🙏
A really great group from a time when music was still beautiful. Judith's voice was truly amazing and an absolute pleasure to listen to. I loved this group when they first came out and as they matured.
The Seekers were class entertainers.Judith's voice was like icing on the cake.I've been enjoying their music since 1966 and still do .I truly miss Judith and may she rest in peace.
A voice like a bell of gold. As well as clarity and control, she conveys powerful emotion. They all meld together in a quiet, understated way. RIP Judith.
+Phillip Marcum Most women singers with a voice similar to Judith's, seem to get all quavery with age - too much vibrato. Judith's is still as strong as ever.
A wonderful voice, a great band. I'm 73 now. And I was in love with her in my teens. Shucks, still am a little bit. We loved them here in England, and I'm sure the rest of the world did.
There are people out there who'll "thumbs down" something just because they are contrary, sour and enjoy disrespecting things they have neither the talent nor the imagination to create themselves.
Is there any song they can't sing ? I'm completely in awe of this woman and The Seekers and have been a fan since the early 1960's . In some respects she reminds me of Linda Ronstadt , with her powerful voice , talent , grace , and a voice that is so clear & distinct
Flawless. And don't you just love how Judith 'lives' the song, so full of restless, almost mischievous, girlish buoyancy as she sings and pauses to jig along to the instrumental passages. Everything that can be said about her truly lovely voice has been said - what an absolute treasure she is - and the boys.
This is such a brilliant rendition. I'm always entranced by Judith's amazing voice. God truly blessed us by allowing us the privilege of hearing her sing :0)
David Taylor There is one person. Jeanette Macdonald. Her top C is the best i have heard. To be found in "Wanting you" From new moon. Singing with Nelson Eddy. From C down to A. The two best notes sung ever!!

My Nan and Grandad loved The Seekers in the 60's and they didn't 'do pop' being born in 1901 & 1900 respectively. However, they saw something pleasing in the music of The Seekers.
For as long as I can remember I have been a total Buddy Holly fan. But finally I have a version of this song that is its equal. Thanks Judith and Boys.
I was in High School when the Seekers came along. They were a Once in a lifetime breath of Fresh Air. Judith had the voice of an Angel, and the Guys harmonized with her perfectly, both vocally and instrumentality.
Linda Rostandt and Judith Durham. The best natural singers in the world. No extra makeup, no fancy or almost not dresses, no special musical arrangements. Just them. And as a bonus they were and still are beautiful.
@Barbara T I’ve been married for 32years I was 24 and she was 20. She got cancer in 2020 I was totally lost without her. She took a major hit the treatment was horrible for her. I could not do anything to change the situation so I felt helpless..This song reminds me of her.
A great cover, of a great song, written by a Canadian, Paul Anka. May Buddy Holly, Judith Durham and Jerry Allison (Buddy Holly's drummer) rest in peace. Cheers! ✌️🙏🕊️
Love this band. Judith's voice is amazing, sounding the same as when she was a teenager. Great to see the band performed for so long. Aussies sure have staying power.
Just be aware the Seekers are very addictive, once you start listening you will keep returning, learning & enjoying these people from my 1960s Melbourne, never met them but know the senses & the environment they came from, folk music scene of early 60s & early Melbourne coffee shops.
