You obviously have never listened to Linda Ronstadt PROPERLY !! .She is the Gold standard.I'm a Melbourne boy, i love the Seekers but Judith Durham just could not do what Ronstadt could do.

@@anthonyarmstrong14 Linda Ronstadt is around how long???...Judith could sell out any venue and everyone remembers her voice...I think she's gone past 50 years as a pro, I rate Linda Ronstadt as a typical American folk singer...Sorry shes not in the same ball park, but we are all entitled to our opinions...

@@jimbradley9775 Ronstadt lost her voice due to parkinsons disease s.She made 31 Albums and sang as a guest or backing on an estimated 120 other albums.Like i said you havent listened to her,i'm tipping like most people here, you know a few songs and thats it. Ronstadts last Album was Cajun, have you listened to her Mexican Mariachi Albums, which by the way is her heritage. If not i suggest you do,because Judith Durham couldn't do it period.

I wonder if Linda doing a cover had any influence on her doing it also. The Seekers are completely in the background here and she is the focal point, more so than in other videos and performances. It also struck me that her expression was more one of determination than the usual gentle happy expression she usually had when she sung.

When i was 14/15 i found this song and i literally fell in love for it. I Loved Judith's voice, the entire video, the lyrics and the harmony, the good vibes the song gives to you. The seekers were among the bands who helped me to discover a lot of music, a lot of artist from the past who never gets old. Thanks Judith and may your soul see the eternal light❤️

It's not just The Seekers but it's other musical favourites of mine that I haven't heard for years. Just wish music could be made like this again instead of all the rubbish that's out there, maybe I'm getting too old(57)!

God, even after all those years, they are aging like the rest of us...only, they still have their gifts/their voices/their stage presence. I started crying as it suddenly made me look waaaay back, in to my own youth, when they were starting out. I also remember the headline in Herald the day "the Music Died"...but have no explanation as to why a kid that young/couldn't read, how could I remember that moment? The Herald Examiner was like the Chicago Tribune-known for having lots of pictures! R.I.P. Judith! rl
