There are different goals in training, he is training the technique for sports. I used to train for KO. Other people train for street fights and so on. All depends on the goals
@@Vasquimho Sport Boxing focuses on Points (Eg. Olimpics Games) KO boxing focuses in ending a figth quick (Eg, Some Pro Boxers - Self Defense) The training technique focuses on Hooks, Liver-punches and uppercuts, the so called, KO punches. Also the footwork is focused on haunting the opponent, close the ring and try to "cage" the movement of your opponent. You may sacrifice some physical punishment, in order to have open gaps for punching hard your opponent. Sure the best idea is to be master in counterpunch or set traps to catch your opponent with gaps or made him/her to make mistakes. (Really hard to master this technique) An example of this may be Julio Cesar Chaves. Or Canelo Alvarez in Some figths. Yes both of them are Mexicans. This is how kind of the Mexican Style boxing Focus on. (In the overal training technique)
It is but I think he has him do it to get a feel for the weight transfer...I believe the boy will do it less the more he can feel the weight transfer and technique properly
Thank you for your work, it's precious knowledge.
True pillars of the community. Much respect!!
Jump push with left foot is the secret for rotation (of hip and etc with delivery of power)
Thank you sir
Great stuff coach
My left leg hurts, how are they twisting their leg and hip so hard without it being uncomfortable
Ah no wonder why I feel like I forgot how to Punch as I try to do the kinetic Chain One by One ain't at once
So much knowledge on this channel. But it differs from a lot of American teaching. In America, they teach to bend and sit down on the right hand..

The russian style looks like the old school style from the 60s what do you think coach ?
Didn’t he overextend his left leg? Or it’s just the angle?

@@Agenthoneydew33 Could be the way Frolov teaches punches. He often insists on punching at the top of a punch.
👍👍
Hand should go straight but it is bending ....I think
It is like a overhand..it only bends because of impact..it is for more power..this is russian style cross..

Has anyone else seen a boxing gym with all hardwood floors?
Yes, once. In Toronto
Too complex. Like a gangly Dr. Hyde
Kid initially threw a perfect right hand, coach is micromanaging him too much. The result is awkward movement.
I agree. And nowadays what boxer do these things?
