Literally nobody ever brings up how the tongues are different between the Wool and Tree Runners. I have both and when I explain it to people, they look at me like I'm crazy.
Great review Austin, I will be doing a lot of walking (sight seeing) in Europe in August this year, I'm not a runner so would you recommend the Allbird tree runners?
According to their website, they do carry 1/2 sizes of tree runners walking sneaker. I'm 10.5 like yourself. Would you recommend 10 or 10.5 given the small area for toes?
Here’s my review of the Allbirds Trailrunners. Heavy, hard, blocks of wood. About the only thing they’re good for is opening up your arch. Maybe use it as therapy for plantar fasciitis. As far as running, steer clear of the Allbirds.
thoughts on the tree dasher in rainy conditions/puddles? I like the lightweight tree upper but am considering the mizzles - however the mizzles only come in the tree upper.
Personally I’ve never worn my Tree Dashers in rainy conditions/puddles so I can’t give any real feedback from experience. However, the upper on the Dashers are a true mesh (think alongside the same lines as Nike Flynit). But I do know their Mizzles line is specifically designed for rainy conditions with a weather repellant coating and “fabric” (Allbirds has called them Mizzles due to the design of being able to wear them in “misty drizzles” get it?). @@ajreese121 thanks!! I don’t mind some wet feet occasionally and I heard that all allbirds are machine washable in a delicates bag! (so i think i’ll send the tree dashers)
My Tree dashers are my standard running shoes. There is not that much bounce in it but still I run 7km and sometimes over 10km and they are still going strong. Having them now almost 2 years.
On a few reviews I've seen, the trainers look nice and clean, but the toe part always looks deflated and collapsed like an old slipper, my normal Trainers Asics is my go to are nice an tight and firm 😜 is the normal and it makes the look kinda old and cheap!?!
Yeah the Tree Dashers upper around the toe part definitely isn't as tight as I'd like it to be. Don't get me wrong, the upper is super comfortable, but it doesn't provide a secure lock-in compared to a Nike Epic React Flynit or Ultraboost 19.

The Tree Runners actually hurt my feet. I gave mine away. I like the Tree Skippers. Brooks hurt my feet too.
