I installed the wheels, then the seat (with adjuster and arms already installed) to the base, first. It makes it easier to attach the back to the seat and you don't have to worry about damaging the seat plastic.

That clip is for the head pillow. You put both the straps through the head rest holes and use the clip to keep it in place. You actuaaly assemhled the head rest pillow wrongly which is why the butterfly clip is now irrelevant. Great video though.
I figured that part out now. You can pull the strap at each end of the cushion through both of the head rest holes and then use the clip to join both loops together. This step was very vague in the instructions.

It's held up well over the past year. No rips or tears so far. I do wish the arm rests were a little softer, but overall it's been a good chair.
