Good evening, would it be possible to do a test that has never been done on UA-cam, between Herman Miller Embody and the Embody Game. Use a Handheld Thermal camera to detect the different temperatures between the two chairs, after sitting for example 3 consecutive hours in one and then in the other. In 3 weeks I intend to buy one of them and it is a very important aspect for me, if you could do this test in the meantime I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
@@luisbrito-wy4fx I plan to do a gaming vs non-gaming embody video in the future. I just wrote this down in my notes to make sure I run this test in that video! It won't be out for a few weeks though, so you'll unfortunately have to make a decision before then!
Hi, another test you could do would be to find out at what weight the gamming chair starts to make noises, since there are several users of this chair and some say it makes noise and others don't. Thanks.@@Ahnestly
@@luisbrito-wy4fxI would be shocked if any gaming embody truly makes no noise, unless someone simply didn't adjust it much or rarely to never flexed their back in it. Mine was pretty quiet when it arrived but within three weeks it now makes a fair amount of noise when I move about in it. This doesn't bother me but it seems simply to be part of what it is. I'm 173cm and 70kg, so average size.
The HERO we all needed. It’s unbelievable how good this video is, especially for a shorter person (I’m 5’2) it’s impossible to find a chair. No one reviews for people who are shorter in mind.
dude, you rock. the way you present yourself/+ with your content/product is truly amazing, Speaking like a leader/teacher helping to guide us on our purchase with the way you respect the viewer. Keep it up.
Couldn't agree more. After 15 years of junk chairs, my 33 yr old back hated me lol. I purchased a H80 Pro, and it's been a complete gamechanger. I'm 6ft 3 and 165lb for reference.
My goodness! The production time on this video must have been insane considering the scope and length! My Aeron is serving me well for now, but I'll definitely be keeping an eye on the 6 ft. friendly high-end chair section. Wouldn't mind an alternative for the future, or knowing good options to fit our office with. Nice work! Thanks for helping us chair buyers make an informed purchasing decision. c:
Thank you for the kind words...yes...I was working on it all the way up until now! I'm not super happy with the thumbnail, so about to head into the studio to work on that. Glad you love your Aeron!! Every time I sit in mine, I always remember why it's so damn good!
OMG Dan, first time I see your videos and I'm grateful for your shared experience. I can't stress enough how good this review is. You put a huge amount of effort covering all the features and making it easy for people to find the chair suitable for them. Congratulations, you nailed it!
Thanks for the great review. Because of your review, I was able to find a replacement seat pad for the 2016 Leap V1 I bought a year ago. I love the chair, but the seat pad needed replacement - I was considering spending serious cash for a brand new chair. I had called Steelcase and several other companies / distributors trying to get a replacement seat pad - Crandall is awesome, thanks for the hook up. I got the wool fabric - so dope!
I had the Herman Miller Mirra 2 Butterfly chair ($1400) at work. The teal blue matched our corporate color. I had no idea it was that expensive! I used it for about 4 years and can confirm it was comfortable for a 5' 8", 160lb individual. Adjustments were nice. Support was excellent. Firm mesh. But based on this video and your other video, I plan on buying the Branch Ergonomic chair with headrest for home.
Love my Steelcase Gesture. No other chair has the unique armrest features, and it's super easy to find some memory foam covers for the armrests if you want padding. Word to the wise on the Herman Miller Embody chair (and Logitech equivalent), test drive one for yourself and sit in it for at least 10 minutes. Some people have a very bad pinching in the lower back after sitting in it for extended periods. Usually unnoticeable if you just sit in it briefly, but very uncomfortable if you're one of the people that doesn't fit quite right in it. Trust me, I REALLY wanted to get an Embody myself before hearing about people with that issue, and found I had the same issue as well.
I’m just glad you went for what fit you, and didn’t buy into just aesthetics. I can’t tell you how many young guys have come into my studio and convince themselves they like the uncomfortable chair bc it looks cool!
I have a gesture as well and love it. One of my only complaints is that the arm rests are a little too firm, but I found a pair of memory foam armrest covers on Amazon that fixed the problem completely
@@Clone895 If you think the Gesture's armpads are too firm, every other chair arm would feel like a brick! So glad you went with the Gesture!! IMHO, Gesture has some of the softest arms compared to everything else out there lol
@@Ahnestly The problem is I like to dig my elbows into the pads sometimes lol. I actually really liked the Aeron arm rests, but for home use, the chair was a bit too stiff. I could see it being a great chair for office work though
I think if you're sitting more upright and need the tilt back here and there, I find the Destrier more comfortable, esp on the lumbar and back. If you are someone who tilts back often and you want something more cushy, then the Kaiser 3!
@@Ahnestly I like to lean back most of time when i watch videos and browsing and sit upright ocassionaly while doing serious work. Also like to sit with both up legs on seat. But I am worried that leather on kaiser 3 won`t last long and tear on places on seat and peel like my dx racer gaming chair i had till 2-3 years compare to mesh chair.
@@SonicDestiny Mesh can sag though, and without coverage on the entire chair, could be out of luck. I would say since you're able to do $900, check out some of the better known brands of Steelcase or Haworth that I talked about in this video. The Fern with the headrest could be game changer for you, and with a 12 year warranty, could be real nice. I've got the full review of both the Fern and the headrest on my channel (you can find it all in the spreadsheet as well)
I bought a Musso H80 Classic last week and it's just legendary. My tailbone has been in pain for years on this stuff Serta chair I used to buy over and over like a moron. That pain has been gone since using it!
Something you should also take into consideration for very tall people is the seat depth. There may be people which require more than 50cm if they have long legs. Many of the big brands have super small seat depth, an exception being the gaming chairs usually. While some chairs offer a seat depth adjustion, this usually just creates a gap in the back and does not really solve the issue. For me personally, i still did not find a suitable chair for me. I am currently sitting on a Noblechairs Hero which has a 50cm seat depth, which is still not enough for me (I can still fit a whole hand between the seat and the end of my knees). The chair is really hard (probably similar to the Secretlab) and this puts a lot of pressure on my legs. This forces me to lean back 90% of the time to relax my legs. But with how hard back of the chair is, over time this causes light back pain for me. Im "only" 191 cm tall.
This is a good call. The deepest seat by far without gap is the Gaming Embody. Instead of the seat sliding out, you can pull the front lip out. Very clever design, prevents any kind of gapping. The issue though, then, is the curled backrest can dig into taller folks' shoulders, which requires a $200 headrest to mitigate!
@@Ahnestly Exactly. Ive been trying the embody, but the backrest was just too small for me and was digging into my shoulders unfortunately. I wish there was a bigger version of the embody. Looking forward to your future videos trying chairs for taller folks. Enjoying your videos, keep it up!
I went with the Asus Destrier, and that’s just cause I got it brand new from microcenter for $590 out the door, my maingear I bought from them crap the bed and they gave me full store credit for it, so far I love it.
Thank you for the review, as a previous owner of Branch, I need to remind people of the lumbar support issue, it's stiff and no cushion at all, the worst is it doesn't really support your lumbar. (pls check other reviews on the internet) I also want to provide one option for the low budget tier, Moustache MOFC-1062E, it's a hidden gem. I owned it before I switched over to the branch one, my wife and I both think Moustache one totally beats branch one. But again as you mentioned, everyone is built differently.
thank you for the Sihoo M18 recommendation, the only seller in my country had it listed in sale for only 100 euro and the difference to my old gaming chair (that cost ~160 4 years ago) is night and day. my butt doesn't hurt anymore standing up after sitting on it for a while, appreciate not having a pillow constantly sliding under my back and the wheels slide much better on the floor
Im here because I have an all mesh chair and weight 210. As you warned, its sagging to the point of uselessness. My circulation gets cut off by the edges in less than 3 minutes. Time for a new chair! On the plus side it never smelled bad because it breaths so well.
I'm sure that's not a Herman Miller. At my work we use the Aeron for more than 20 years, using them the whole day, and the mesh is still in perfect condition.
As a short, heavy-set woman I really appreciate this review. My workplace has the Fern but its sooo expensive in Canada. So I may consider the category two recommendations from the same manufacturer. Thank you for this video ❤
I got Musso H80 Pro when I was looking for a good mesh chair. Got it even on discount then and love adjustments, like seat depth, headrest also. Definitely worth investing in a proper chair for sure. This one also looks great.
You have some incredible videos! Your channel is really helpful. Been looking at videos all day and yours BY FAR are the most helpful. I currently have one just about like the second place one on this list from Staples here. Had it over five years and I'm upgrading my desk and chair this month and am looking for guidance and you're definitely my chair guy! I hope you get to 100K followers, your videos make a difficult task actually kinda fun! Thanks for the wise words!
He has the best recommendations because he is considering that most people are not as slim as all the fitness dudes. Many chairs you feel the bottom after short time...
I struggled finding a chair. I'm 6'3 220lbs and let me tell you, I returned way more than I wanted to, then I found Ahnestly, and he sold me on the gaming embody. It's a massive investment yes, but I've never sat more comfortably at my desk in my entire life. I've had it about 11 months now and my posture has been better, zero back pain, and my favorite part, no numb/poorly circulated legs. If you can shell it out, gaming embody is worth the investment if you sit at a desk 8hrs a day! EASILY!
Noiceeee!! Love it!!! What's kinda crazy is that someone was saying (shorter than you) their legs were going numb in the Embody. It's wild to see how different we all are! But also, hearing stories like this of people's back pain being relieved after that long hunt is what gets me excited about putting these reviews out!!!
@@Ahnestlythat was me! The numbness seems to have almost gone now (though that is partly because I don't recline much anymore cos it hurts my back too much and I have a foot stool). However, while I'm having nothing but trouble with this chair, I got my wife to try it in the fully reclined position that hurts my back the most and after an hour she reported that it's incredibly comfortable. So it is really is down to different body shapes. Both my wife and the HM salesperson think I should just take the pain and my back will adapt to better posture (and that was one of the main reasons I bought an ergonomic chair). Given that HM Shanghai won't let me get a refund or exchange the chair, it's the only choice I've got.
I am struggling finding a chair I like I have about the same stats as you do, I will if I can find a showroom so I can test the gaming embody. What other chairs did you try and hate?
Very informative for buying a chair online ... wish I would of watched this before spending hrs online and reading / comparing mini chairs that look exactly alike and having lots of small font variables in the specification tap on the end I still ended up with a crappy chair that I simply didn't even want to disassemble and send it back I'm having to go through all why the search again
Really nice job man! Im looking for the softest arm pads (i lean on elbows a lot) and most comfortable seat that doesn't bottom out. Considering there seems to be a million options this may take awhile to narrow down.
I have a soji i Adore it. I used to have like really bad neck issues. Because my chair was horrible the soji is amazing very comfortable and got rid of the neck issues. It is probably one of the best bang for buck chairs out there i am 5'10 normal like sneakers
I enjoy your chair reviews and love all of the puns from your name. For anyone considering the Ticova Ergonomic, it is regularly $120 after coupon. Don't pay more than that to maximize the value if what you need is a less expensive chair.
You should try the Newtral chair with attachable desk and footrest. It has a lockable recline. So comfortable! You can use a wireless keyboard on the tray to large monitor or just use a laptop. I got the Magic model for the gapless back support.
Thanks for reminding to subscribe because I forgot to the last time I was watching your videos! I work from home and my lower back is killing me, so I’m hunting for a good chair now. I’m 5’5” (yeah I’m a shorty), so I’m glad you categorized by height because it’s a big factor for me.
Hey man, could u update us? I didn't hear good comments actually for Embody tho and most of the guys said that they would choose aeron instead of Embody. I'm waiting for your opinion (please be very strict)
Dude, I have to say... you're layout of this is impressive. From multiple points of views. As a consumer it is nice. I'm sure to an affiliate marketer it is inspiring. The google sheet laying out your coupon codes. Just really cool man.
This is hands down the most comprehensive chair guide I've seen to date, and I've been trying to find the best chair for me for years now. You got a sub from me man. Cant wait to see more of your work 👏👏👏
Thank you bro. I am tired of my Secret Labs Chair, and am finally splurging on a gaming Embody. Hopefully will make my work/gaming at home a much more comfortable experience! I also made sure to use your code for the headrest, thanks so much bro! When I get it I'll let you know what I think
Let us know when you get it bro. The real thing is that I didn't hear good comments about Herman Miller Embody gaming chair, most of the guys said if they had the chance again they would go for Aeron instead
I just made the decision to buy the embody with the help of your reviews, and the atlas headrest also using your links! I wanted to where you got that embody art you have hanging on the wall I couldn't find anything about it anywhere. thanks!
Great video. The Anthros chair is the least comfortable chair I have ever been in. I would be very leery of a wide recommendation for that chair. Fern is best chair for me and I prefer the mesh because it is so much cooler than the digital knit.
Thank you for this. I have been struggling to find a chair after having lower back and butt/leg issues which started recently from the whole work from home the last few years. I tried the leap v1 and flexispot c7 with no luck. Either had tailbone pain or i guess the sides of the chair cut off circulation. You have given me a few chairs to order and test out. I was trying to save money but as this point comfort and wellbeing trumps the 1k price tags.
It was actually surprising for me how hard it is finding a chair that fits me, i am 6'3 which is a pretty normal height where im from so i thought most chairs would work for me. Thank god i didnt just buy some chair online but i actually went and tried some out
@@spookavision I tried many models but decided on the aeron remastered, I am quite big so I went for the C model but I'm sure if you're more slim the B model would work
Love my embody with the atlas headrest I got thanks to you. Now I´m just looking for a chair for my boyfriend. It will be the aeron or embody with atlas headrest for him I belive.
I want an embody (185 tall). I tried the regular one and the corners of the back dug in a lot in my shoulders. It's like all Herman Miller chairs are made for children or something. Interesting to hear the gaming version is less curved inwards. I wonder if that is general or specific with your chair? Embody still can't forward tilt, which is quite important in fast paced gaming. I guess you can't have it all.
So this is what I talked about briefly in this video. The gaming Embody edges are a little more relaxed - still curved, but not as tight as the non-gaming. I know this sounds crazy, but the headrest Atlas Headrest makes for the Embody makes that a non-issue. You can use it on your neck or it's soft enough that you can even rest it on your upper back. Not many are willing to spend $200 to "fix" a chair, so I totally get it!
Opposite for me! I am 5'4" and hate every Herman Miller chair I've ever sat in. I did get a FREE Herman Miller Aeron chair when my old employer closed an office, but it's a size B and the lumber support is non-existent. Maybe it's broken. For me, all chairs (sofas, recliners included) feel like they're made for giants. Currently using an el cheapo basic IKEA office chair until I can save up and go to a warehouse or something to try some "real" chairs.
Thank you so much for these kind of content. Ive been searching for my home office chair because of my back pain from cheap temu gaming chair. This content helped me choose much easier also on the other video youve mentioned the executive chair i was going to buy but your review saved me money. Im going for sihoo c300 since im tall plus wanted that adjustable mesh back. Hopefully no more back pain. Keep it up, this content is what youtube algo should recommend to people searching for office chair. 👍
I love your reviews. Can you make it even easier by giving them a scoring rating system by comfort, price, features? i think it there was a number score on top of the chairs itd make them even easier to navigate
I think a 6' person would fit well in an XL. As for fabric vs pleather...I think fabric would be more cool (temperature wise). Unfortunately, since I don't have experience with their fabric, I couldn't say for sure which feels better
Hey, I’m about to pull the trigger and can get a Digital Kit Haworth that does not have forward tilt or lumbar for $1150 or I can get the Steelcase Karman for $900. Of these two options, which is the better choice for someone that sits 12+ hours a day and I tend to lean forward so the back is less important.
Hey! So if you’re leaning forward, prob gonna be better with a Fern! Not sure if mesh is best for leaning forward while the seat is flat. Why not get the forward tilt option (if it’s bc Haworth has weird option choices, I understand lol). Hope this helps and please consider using my links! Helps the channel a lot!
It's comments like this that help me keep going (and when folks use my links! Please consider using them if you decide to pick up!) Also! Engaging with you all helps give me new ideas!!!
You’re the man. Thank you for doing this. What are your thoughts on the Razer Iskur XL? I’m 6’1” 220 and work all day at my desk, then play video games in the same chair at night. So I clock a lot of hours in it and looking for mainly a really comfortable bottom cushion and good lumbar support
Hey! If you're looking for that kinda thing, really recommend you go for something more ergonomic! The Iskur is a really firm chair, and not sure it would suit you if you're looking for a really comfortable cushion. Also, the lumbar swings up and out, so not as much control, even compared to up and down! Have plenty of chairs here that would suit ya, and would be in the same price range! Please consider using my links if you decide to pick up, and let me know what you end up with!!
Thank you!! I'm always hesitant to make recommendations when people have medical conditions. I would say your best bet would be to go with something with a good return policy and proven customer service, and chairs that have had more R&D invested into their chairs. This means the top dogs - Herman Miller (although now there is a $50 return fee), Steelcase, or Haworth! Hope this helps! Let me know what you decide on and please consider using my link if you decide to pick up!!
I get this question all the time, so it's on the last tab on the spreadsheet! docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1vSmatzpY0i8Iv-qJ1e2HhKq8OWNtCRdF2EdSF5uHk-o/edit#gid=848528279
I also got an Aeron for lower back pain. Best chair I will ever own, had it for about 6 years now - got it refurbished for £650. The same model as mine is now being sold for £460 refurbished if anyone is interested.
Your reviews have been great and very helpful in my search for a new chair. Much appreciated! I am debating between the Zody and the Amia. I am 5'8" and 150LB going to be using it for work during the day and gaming in front of my TV at night. Wondering what you think would be best?
My vote is for the Amia! Much better seat, and a padded backrest means less risk of hard edges digging in! Please consider using my link if you decide to purchase!
I really appreciate you taking the time to respond and your feedback. Helped me a lot, will certainly use your link as well. Thank you again! :)@@Ahnestly
Nearly every single chair on this list does this (it's called synchro-tilt). The only ones that DO NOT have synchro-tilt are... - The amazon basics chair - The SIHOO chairs - Andaseat Kaiser 3 - Secretlab chairs - The Anthros chair
I have the fern and have been anticipating your opinion on the anthros, I remember when they were a kick starter and could get their chair for $950 now they are over $2k.
Hahaha yeah...that's a tough one with so many Kickstarters failing. I'm a fan of the Anthros man. I think it seriously needs a headrest, but the lower back pain relief was INSTANT. And the seat and backrest are so. effing. nice.
Please open a showroom so I can try out different chairs before buying. I’ve been in a multi-year search for a chair that caters towards my back injury and it’s hard to research, commit, try out, and return chairs. I’m picking up a gaming embody this weekend and I’m praying it suits my needs. 😭
Thank you for the review. Which chair would you recommend for someone with sciatica and needs to log 10 hours a day for work? Also short. I heard I need a forward tilt to help with my issues, but I also want a super comfortable seat pad. Current chair for reference: Office Master OM5 - it's an okay chair, but not a 10 hr a day chair. The back is good. It's the seat pad. It has a cross bar that you can feel all day. I'll use your link if you can offer a suggestion. Thank you.
I found a used embody (not Logitech) for the same price as a new destrier which I planned to buy and I'm torn between the two. If it was the Logitech one I'd pick that in a heartbeat but since the things I've heard that differ the original and the gaming embody I'm not sure tbh. I kinda have a good feeling about the destrier too.
The Embody spanks the Destrier (as it should since MSRP is 2x the price!). If anything, you can sell your non gaming Embody and buy the gaming one, but totally understand if you don't want to spend extra!
I'm not sure if I already commented this here so sorry if I did,but could you check out the Colamy Atlas? I was stuck between that or the Branch Ergonomic Chair.
I am curious what you think about ticova?(28min in the video), because i want to replace my old chair and i was thinking about the Mellet, but since i am on EU , can't find one here. I can find siho m18 and ticova for the same price but i never bought a ergo chair so i have no idea what to get lol , i guess il keep checking info about them , my budget is up to 200€ since i need to replace my whole setup , i might cheap on the desk and other stuff for now and go for bigger budget on the chair since chair is the most important "part" of the setup for prolonged work or gaming hours.

It won't be out for a few weeks though, so you'll unfortunately have to make a decision before then!
got it.
I think everyone can see how much effort was put in to this video. Thank you, Dan.
Thank you so much for the kind words. Means a lot!!!
So much effort!! Awesome and thank you !!
I’m a minute 20 in and I came here to say this. Got a subscriber out of me just based off that
Agreed. Great video. Actually demonstrating the good and bad is very welcome.
This being said. I am very disappointed at this video. He failed to zoom in so we actually can see these seats closely 🤷♂️
The HERO we all needed. It’s unbelievable how good this video is, especially for a shorter person (I’m 5’2) it’s impossible to find a chair. No one reviews for people who are shorter in mind.
Really glad this helped!! Yeah it's a bit of a niche height, so hope this video helps!!
Just find ur channel and this is probably the gold standard for a perfect UA-camr. I rarely even comment on channels but this needed a comment.
I’m only 2 minutes in and I can see the amount of depth and work that went into this and I couldn’t be any more thankful for it!
the quality of this video is way more than we deserve, congrats
dude, you rock. the way you present yourself/+ with your content/product is truly amazing, Speaking like a leader/teacher helping to guide us on our purchase with the way you respect the viewer. Keep it up.
Heyyy I appreciate that! Yall work too hard to be buying $hitty products, so want to make sure you get the best chair for you!!
He wasn’t joking about the spreadsheet. Last modified this morning. Definitely worth holding onto the document
Ended up getting a embody a while back because of you, great vid :)
Hope you're loving it!!! HM now charging shipping AND return fee now!!
Amazing work on this one Ahn! Your really setting the gold standard for reviews/buying guides!
Thank you for the kind words!! I wanted to do more on this video, but was getting really burnt out. Really appreciate these words!!
This is the most complete, usefull and professional video about chairs in youtube. Amazing job
Bro put in crazy work for a chair review. Big help, thanks a bunch. Take this comment for the machine god.
yoooo thank you!!!
May I ask how tall you are?
Thank you. It was your videos that convinced me to purchase a leap v2 from crandall office.
Woot woot! Those guys are seriously great! Let me know how you like it!!!
I’m so glad I found your channel. Please stay as authentic as possible. I feel like you’re super honest and not just selling out to some sponsor
You're so awesome in how you put all of this together. Big thank you for this incredible effort!
Thank you for the kind words!!!
Which is more comfortable and better over all for all day siting? andaseat kaiser 3 or asus rog destrier? i am 6 feet tall
I've got the full review of both the Fern and the headrest on my channel (you can find it all in the spreadsheet as well)
How is he not at 100k come on guys the effort in the video is amazing
Enjoying your videos, keep it up!
its me the fern headrest enthusiast! 6'2" long session sitting & still give +1 for the Fern, love it every single day.
Mr Adam!! Woot woot!!
(pls check other reviews on the internet)
I also want to provide one option for the low budget tier, Moustache MOFC-1062E, it's a hidden gem.
Being 6'5 i thank you for this video.
Great video, I’m just wondering being about 5’7 150 if there are any good chairs with foot rests. I like to game a lot as well.
Hope my videos are of help!!!
Really nice job man! Im looking for the softest arm pads (i lean on elbows a lot) and most comfortable seat that doesn't bottom out. Considering there seems to be a million options this may take awhile to narrow down.
Hey, for the armpads - they're all pretty tough. Get aftermarket armrest covers! Will make them super soft and smooth!!
Was gonna get an M18 or the M102C. Could you review more Sihoo chairs?
Other than that an excellent video, channel deserves more than 50k subs
I have a soji i Adore it. I used to have like really bad neck issues. Because my chair was horrible the soji is amazing very comfortable and got rid of the neck issues. It is probably one of the best bang for buck chairs out there i am 5'10 normal like sneakers
Yess!! Soji is a great little chair. Still pricier than what most are used to, but a 12 year warranty is nothing to scoff at!!
I enjoy your chair reviews and love all of the puns from your name. For anyone considering the Ticova Ergonomic, it is regularly $120 after coupon. Don't pay more than that to maximize the value if what you need is a less expensive chair.
YOU. ARE. THE. BEST!
You should try the Newtral chair with attachable desk and footrest. It has a lockable recline. So comfortable! You can use a wireless keyboard on the tray to large monitor or just use a laptop. I got the Magic model for the gapless back support.
This was a phenomenal guide for anyone looking to buy a new chair, thank you for taking the time to make this video!
Thank YOU for taking the time to comment, and with such kind words too!
Woot woot! Make sure to check out my Anthros review this Friday and thank you for the sub!!!
Just what I was looking for. Thanks for the video.
You're very welcome!!
Bought an Andaseat Kaiser 3 and used your code, I also liked and subscribed. Your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed, thank you

Thank you for all your hard work on informing us
Hey! Thank you for the kind words!!!
I wanted to where you got that embody art you have hanging on the wall I couldn't find anything about it anywhere. thanks!
Thanks for the comprehensive guide. Very helpful.
Thank you for the kind words!!
Great video. The Anthros chair is the least comfortable chair I have ever been in. I would be very leery of a wide recommendation for that chair. Fern is best chair for me and I prefer the mesh because it is so much cooler than the digital knit.
Remarkable review, appreciate it very much! Great work.
Thank god i didnt just buy some chair online but i actually went and tried some out
What did you get? I'm 6'3 too.
@@spookavision I tried many models but decided on the aeron remastered, I am quite big so I went for the C model but I'm sure if you're more slim the B model would work
thank you for making the video i just now clicked the video already you took my attention to the product. keep up the good work
Love my embody with the atlas headrest I got thanks to you. Now I´m just looking for a chair for my boyfriend. It will be the aeron or embody with atlas headrest for him I belive.
Glad you love it!!! And lucky boyfriend!! Please consider using my link if you/he decides to pull the trigger and let me know how he likes it!!!
Love ur videos, after trying a quality chair i cant imagine going back!
Thank you! What you end up getting???
Insane level of effort! We all appreciate it, thank you Boss.
I love your reviews. Can you make it even easier by giving them a scoring rating system by comfort, price, features? i think it there was a number score on top of the chairs itd make them even easier to navigate
Does kaiser 3 leather version feel better than fabric one and wouldn`t XL version be too big for 6 feel tall guy?
I think a 6' person would fit well in an XL. As for fabric vs pleather...I think fabric would be more cool (temperature wise). Unfortunately, since I don't have experience with their fabric, I couldn't say for sure which feels better
Thanks for recommending the sihoo m18. Im 5'4 and I game a lot, and it's been very useful.
Amazing video. Very informative and comprehensive and thanks for sharing used options as well.
i've had an Aeron for years. amazing chair, and now I just got the gaming embody, It feels amazing but I'm worried about overheating.
Very informative video. Really helped me decide which chair to buy.
ur a fkn godsent for this list, the spreadsheet is just A1 work, thanks man
It's comments like this that help me keep going (and when folks use my links! Please consider using them if you decide to pick up!)
Also!
@@Ahnestlyabsolutely, thank you so much. I will for sure use your links. Cheers
What about the Humanscale Freedom with headrest?
Just subscribed, so amazing lol! Which chair could be good for chronic pain / ehler danlos?
Thank you so much for this video. What shoes do you have on? They are awesome!
I get this question all the time, so it's on the last tab on the spreadsheet!

@@Ahnestly You the man!
I got you!
Hi what do you think about Sihoo Doro S100? I am 5,8 and now I am thinking to choose between Sihoo M18 and Sihoo Doro s100.
I also got an Aeron for lower back pain.
Best chair I will ever own, had it for about 6 years now - got it refurbished for £650.
The same model as mine is now being sold for £460 refurbished if anyone is interested.
Where did you end up buying it form?
Your reviews have been great and very helpful in my search for a new chair. Much appreciated! I am debating between the Zody and the Amia. I am 5'8" and 150LB going to be using it for work during the day and gaming in front of my TV at night. Wondering what you think would be best?
My vote is for the Amia! Much better seat, and a padded backrest means less risk of hard edges digging in! Please consider using my link if you decide to purchase!
I really appreciate you taking the time to respond and your feedback. Helped me a lot, will certainly use your link as well. Thank you again! :)@@Ahnestly
@@marvinstone4932no problem! Thanks again for your support and let me know what you end up with!!!
Another goat video from the goat!!!
Bahhhhh. Wait, is that a lamb sound?
Can any rock the back but keep the seat flat?
Nearly every single chair on this list does this (it's called synchro-tilt). The only ones that DO NOT have synchro-tilt are...
- The amazon basics chair
- The SIHOO chairs
- Andaseat Kaiser 3
- Secretlab chairs
- The Anthros chair
Thank u for this content! amazing! keep up the great work! :)
Thanks for the kind words! Hope crypto goes to the moon this year!!!
Always finding the BEST!
SO many good budget and high tier finds this year!!
very helpful thanks. the branch ergo is called "ofinto" in the UK.
And the seat and backrest are so. effing. nice.
Thank you so much for this review.
And Herman Miller has 25% off all their chairs right now!! ( Nov 3rd 2023)

Please open a showroom so I can try out different chairs before buying. I’ve been in a multi-year search for a chair that caters towards my back injury and it’s hard to research, commit, try out, and return chairs. I’m picking up a gaming embody this weekend and I’m praying it suits my needs. 😭
Hahaha my studio is always open in case you're ever in the PA area and wanna try out a buncha chairs!!
What do you think the best high end chair for reclining gaming would be?
I'm not sure if I already commented this here so sorry if I did,but could you check out the Colamy Atlas? I was stuck between that or the Branch Ergonomic Chair.
Yeah the chair looks sick, but I won’t get to it for quite some time!
I am curious what you think about ticova?(28min in the video), because i want to replace my old chair and i was thinking about the Mellet, but since i am on EU , can't find one here.
I can find siho m18 and ticova for the same price but i never bought a ergo chair so i have no idea what to get lol , i guess il keep checking info about them , my budget is up to 200€ since i need to replace my whole setup , i might cheap on the desk and other stuff for now and go for bigger budget on the chair since chair is the most important "part" of the setup for prolonged work or gaming hours.
i dont need to buy a chair often, but i do right now - heres your subscribe
"Aggressive everyday sitter" cracked me up! That's me! 27:10
LOL I just envision people like piledriving their chairs
Which chair is best for 5’3 that likes sitting normal and occasionally cross legged?
Amazing review! I can purchase a chair now in more confidence
Awesome video man. Helped me pick the perfect chair for me. Thank you!!!
