Youd prob need a lift bro tbh. its not too bad but you gotta use something to push the trans up a little

I just did motor mounts and oil filter housing on my 2019 330i. 330whp and 380twq killed them off fast lmao, time to see how long they last at 400whp.

Same thing: car runs fine in DRIVE. Put in park, a little shaking. Put it in reverse, shit wants to shake apart! LOL! Just started like a day ago and I HATE putting it into reverse already. Good video, brotha!

How reliable is a g20, anything service wise to watch out for?
it’s been pretty reliable tbh i haven’t had any major issues, i’ve gotten one check engine light but thank god for warranty and my filler neck got replaced not sure what happened but yeah that’s about it
80k plus miles on mine, still no issues. changed my motor mounts once like this guy did but other than that she's been running like a charm. BMW has definitely stepped their game up over the years, and for the most part a lot of the newer gens are pretty reliable. b46/b48 engines are pretty tanky and as long as you do your regular maintenance they're amazing engines.
@YourAverageG20 how did you know it was time for new motor mounts, mine is currently jumping when i smash down on the gas it doesn’t happen when i switch gears just happens when i go pretty heavy on the gas was wondering if motor mounts might do the trick.

Any special tools you used to replace the motor mounts doing mine tmw
you just need the torques bits thats pretty much all we used and a trans jack or something to push up on the motor to squeez it out and in
@@2RAR3J did you guys remove that motor mount bracket, stuck on the driver side rn
@@SofiaIsaiah the driver side was honestly the easy one. The passenger was the one we had a problem with, but I just had to try my best to push the motor a little bit higher for the driver side. You shouldn’t break anything as long as you’re lifting the motor up a little bit with the right stuff
