They are literally the same, no weight or size difference, feels the same while using it. only minor difference is the retrieve, MG is 105cm while HG is 117. not a massive difference.
@@quangdexter MG is probably better if you are slow pitch jigging in not too deep water. but if you are in deep water jigging or mechanical jigging then HG would be a better option
the rod i paired it with, ocea legacy elementus pe 4. its 300 to 600 gram lure rating. beautiful match up. but another good option is Shimano ocea jigger motive rods.
I just got mine in the mail today Man is this thing super rough and loud when I try to retrieve it hundred times rougher than my ocea jigger 2000 HG. Are all the LDS rough like this out of the box or did I get a bad one?
check my other video, i have the both models of Ocea Jigger LD. mine was pretty smooth, i even tested it out on the water. felt smooth. i had a similar issue with one of jigging master reels a while back but it was smooth after a couple of trips.
is it okay if i use MG for SPJ since its line retrieve rate is 107cm?
@@danielvillaver8279 oh yea, not a problem at all. I use it all the time.
@@Jetprofishlife thanks man.

I would prob go MG. The retrieve is good enough for slow pitch but you probably getting better crank with MG
What you mean better crank?. Can you pls explain. Thank you

agree, i tried it couple of weeks ago. it does help with the extra retrieve
Bisa Anda tunjukan ratio antara MG dan HG?
i am posting another video tomorrow to show the difference between the two reels including the radio
With those reels what is the best rod I could use for slow jigging 50m up to 120m ?

unfortunately they dont do left hand.
From which Japan supplier did you bought from?
there are a few suppliers but since they can be found all over now, its much easier to get it locally.
