Your gear is so good but you have to learn control a fish by your rod
Your Shock leader was too risk(30lb) coz you use pe2 Maybe 40-50lb will add more percent to fight I saw fish only bullies you and you not fight back LOL.
and last one you can use the Level fall to create action of your Jig lure , Fast fall will go straight(no action or less) - mid fall will falling reef (perfect action) - low speed fall do attention from fish but will blow away from spot (beautiful but weird)
remember how dept water ex. 100m fast fall at 80 m or bottom than you change to mid fall speed when you slow or long fall Try it for me Then tell me next time

Thanks for the well-thought comment, buddy, loving the new function on the ocea jigger, stilling learning slow jigging mid-depth, been getting good fish down the bottom.
Ahhh bummer they get to the bottom quick don't they. I got some big ones here, had to hold my spool and it sat me on my ground the 20kg+ fish!

Hello very nice rod... a bit tip maybe u should pump the rod first for a solid hookup then control the fish when fighting..also u should monitor where is the fish are gathering so you can expect the strike zone, maybe 10m above seabed maybe 20m then u will be ready when getting the strike. just my two cents.. come and watch my channel we do jigging at malaysia.. thanks cheers!

I usually dont pump my slow pitch rod, i reel in alot instead for a good hookup
@@aquillae yep that's the recommended technique, i just got used to still pump the rod for a small to medium fish, for bigger fish, i do utilise the reel more, cheers for watching.
