Harold, thanks for supporting Tibetan business. 40% of India-based Tibetan refugees’ sole source of income is from these small businesses. Harald 🤳I have been a subscriber for a very long time, and I believe you are hands down the best content creator. You consistently treat those less fortunate with respect and kindness, which I deeply admire. Having watched your content for years, I’ve noticed that people in less fortunate Asian countries are often kind and loving. In contrast, in my part of the world, people are often reluctant to spend even a penny on others. It’s rare here for someone to invite a stranger into their home or offer a meal, a cookie, or even a house tour. People tend to feel entitled and lazy. You are truly awesome, Harald🤳

@@deepblue3682 how racist. have u been to western coast states ? its mainly Hindi belt which are poor and unclean. all the himalayan states are clean and tidy. do u think himachlis are not ethnic indians ?
@@anempath24 I've been to India, and most cities you can't call clean at all. Some spend more efford, like places in Goa and even in Mumbai you can see at least an improvement over the years, but other cities are really terrible. It's not just a stereotype.
@@Zarkovision As someone from Mangalore, I can tell you firsthand that the stereotype of India being a poor and dirty country is misleading. This perception is often driven by the fact that many travelers only visit places like the Taj Mahal, Varanasi, and other tourist spots located in some of the poorest regions of the country. While these areas have historical and cultural significance, they do not represent the entirety of India. Mangalore, for example, is a thriving, well-maintained city with a high standard of living, and it’s far better than many cities in North India. This comparison highlights that the perception of India being dirty or poor is often tied to specific regions rather than the country as a whole. India is practically a continent in itself, with people who look different and live differently in each part of the country. From the bustling cities of the South to the tranquil Himalayan states like Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh, the diversity in culture, cleanliness, and lifestyle is immense. Mumbai’s slums, like Dharavi, often get highlighted as the face of India’s urban life, but it’s important to remember that many of these slums are inhabited by migrants and outsiders. The culture and cleanliness of a place are deeply influenced by its regional practices and values. That’s why you see such a stark difference between North India and places like Sri Lanka or the Himalayan states, which are known for their cleanliness and tidiness. The reality is that India’s diversity is reflected not just in its people, but also in its regional cultures and cleanliness standards. It’s crucial to recognize that while some areas may struggle with poverty and cleanliness, others, like Mangalore, are thriving and offer a completely different experience. The perception of a country shouldn’t be based on a narrow view of just a few regions but should consider the full spectrum of what it has to offer.

A 2 hour long from video from Harald Baldr himself spoiling us today!
Considering the length of this video it flew by due to the good content again Haraldo
The prices with the last lady seemed very reasonable. That barber must have been having a bad day it's like he didn't recognise you.👍😂
or he is only about making money and since he knew I wasn't going to get a 2nd haircut in 2 days he had no interest in chatting
@@HaraldBaldr😅
@@HaraldBaldr The Barbar isn't ladakhi and it was fun to see you telling him why he isn't saying julley on the phone, hehe
I think he was uncomfortable since he didn't understood english.
Chose the white bag then picked up the black bag 😅 @32:58
As a amiable person Herald choose the most vulnerable colour.😊
You put a smile on my face when u say "Its Outrageous!!" 😄
Loved the 2 hour video! I didn't want it to end, loved every moment of it

That mini Dagger is called “Phurba”. I wish Harald bought it!
Yeah the spear of destiny lol... I wanted it to.
So what I see i we need to fund someone to bulk buy and sell them to us. 🤣
Been a long time follower, Thank you Harald for everything you do for us ..
He is now a better travel vlogger than bald and bankrupt.
I am going there next year June. Love your videos, the style of your videos are perfect. I am from Kolkata, hope I can meet you someday. Best part of your videos are your humbleness and the way you mix with the locals wherever you visit. Here also the way you interacted with the old lady even after having language barrier was so great to see. She even offered food. Such a nice lady. You are a gem of a person brother.
Another cracking video, keep them coming Karen Baldr!

I didn't get one. I had to keep an eye on the northman for the release of a new video.
Love your videos mannen!
Thanks Harald ! I feel Goood to watch your Vidioes ☺️
Manali is in himalyas of india in himachal pradesh where you can see lots of things do more fun activities river rafting paragliding nd its temperatures gets very low but it wont snow tht much now
The Tibetan people seems so Nice and humble ❤
Can't say if the prices are good or not, but generally people in Ladakh seems so chill, extremely nice and also respectful. It makes me very happy.
Also almost all of the shopkeepers speaks English, so nice! It struck me when you mentioned that in Varanasi you were followed around by people 😂😂, and then there is Ladakh which is the quite opposite.
Very happy that you bought the fridge magnet from the little girl as well. ❤️
Love the videos homie, the exploration and the vibes are always top notch
greetings from india....tibetian journey looks awsm...
Harald wow nice people another wonderful video thanks for sharing and showing us what other countries are like 😊
sucks that Im not at my hometown Leh, would love to give you a tour. love the vlogs man
Harold the Tibetan market search was fabulous. So many interesting treasures. I especially love the night market with that beautiful woman. Her shirt was very very nice and her jewelry was so traditional. I'm not sure what you have decided to give away, but I would love to be considered for those earings(from the nite market. Oh and that house you went into was incredible!! Such friendly and happy people. A real joy emanates from all of them. Thanks and can't wait for your next vlog ❤ cheers mate
Wow, the lovely local lady, so warm, friendly & welcoming toward Harald & her house is so very amazing!! Very neat/tidy, clean & very spacious.
These local people take such pride in their homes & surroundings & it shows.
I was laughing here, as I don't think many Westerners would be so very approachable or accommodating! lol
IMPHO, I think it's fair to say, that most in the West culturally, are a bit different & a bit more reserved & insular.
That sweet and kind lady (whose house you visited) was offering you a black tea(she was constantly saying "chaye (hindi word for tea) black tea").you were replying by saying "chaabeleti"😢😢
.
And she kept saying she is Wangchuk’s mom ❤
Herald please research on Manali, you should love the hiking routes there
Shall do Sir 🙏🏻
@@HaraldBaldr My dear Harald ...We are waiting u to visit Himachal..You having awesome and honest review about the peoples, areas and culture....You should extend your Leh visit up to Manali by Roads..Leh is nothing but on the way you will find all real hidden treasures' of Himalayas... Himachal Itself is another level of culture shock u will feel along side the centauries old tradition and geographical beauties..For real india you have to leave these cities and to enter in villages...every villages having own stories, and languages, tradition, food, taste and culture changes in every 100 km in india..perhaps one life time is not enough to explore deeply as u usually do..

That foreign prayer blasting on the speaker followed by Harald immediately saying "This place needs Jesus!" and then taking a sip of his tea got me good. Truly a Medieval-Christian-Viking in India moment. Harald Gormsson would be proud of this Viking-Christian conversion of Karen Baldr witnessed today.
Norway needs to go back to it's pagan roots, start worshipping Odin.
That was islamic call to prayer. It is pretty annoying in a peaceful place like Ladakh.
