I stayed at an Airbnb in Elizabethtown for the KY Bourbon Festival last September… John O’s is amazing! Some higher priced bottles but cool family/staff.

Been watching your bourbon hunting adventures, and you are either the most disciplined shoppers ever or you already have a ginormous collection! Every other bourbon hunting video is full of people going wild with their buys, and my personal liquor store experiences are pretty crazy, too. So I congratulate you on either your outstanding self-control or your amazing existing collection, whichever it is!

Welcome to bourbon hunting in Louisville and surrounding areas. 75% Patel mafia ( museums ), 20% cox/evergreen and Liquor barn, and 5% maybe some random owner.
The single barrel picks at the jim beam distillery are selected by the employees and are supposed to be the best of the best. Always get one or five.

Some places you have to ask at the counter for nicer bourbon. They won't have it sitting out in the gift shop

Was at Jim Beam last week, that Lineage Bourbon tastes awesome. Didn't buy the bottle but got a pour upstairs. The restaurant there is top notch also.

Well... every bottle in that case at Evergreen had a pretty hefty markup. Easy to find bottle sitting on shelf when they are priced up. Also, Old Carter is findable in KY. Very hard to find in other states though.

“You don’t have to name them all they can see them” actually no we can’t, at least not easily. Can’t always read the labels we don’t know them all by the colors of the labels

I may be missing something but started recently watching the channel and the guy corrects the girl over and over and over. Almost is distracting to the flow of the video to hear someone being corrected over and over. Just let her talk without correcting please.

I watch them all the time and never notice this. I remember 2 corrections….he rightly corrected her on the time and she rightly corrected him on the green/purple top 🤷♂️
