I love that the Holladay cave collection comes in a jug 😂 too perfect!
Agreed!!
Recent trip to Miss and grabbed Tin Type 1-2, Blue Note Uncut Store Pick, Bakers 13, Knob 12 and 18, Ben Holliday Rick House, and two Bottles of my Top 3 Kentucky Owl Confiscated for $89 each. Def don’t sleep on southern Miss for Bourbon
Sometimes buying less is buying more...in total dollars spent - 2 WHH17s, 2 OCs, 2 Michters SBBPs, and 2 4R SBBPs - that's a chunk of change. That alone is like 1,500-,1600. Sounds like total trip was like $2k in bottles which is pretty large haul.
Wow. What a great trip. Thanks for sharing all the stories. Enjoy all that great juice. Cheers.
Great Video! Was able to score my first J Magnus Cigar Blend (Batch #210) MSRP in NC.
Very nice!! Congrats!
Great bottle haul. Love the hunting video's just posted. Cheers U 2.
Nice haul, ya'all! Thanks for sharing!
I bought a bottle of the Augusta Old Route 8 JHOB 131.8 pick and loved it, so I bought a 2nd bottle. That James E Pepper decanter bottle is fantastic and getting a backup of it also. Michter’s is so good. The Michter’s 10 Year Bourbon was my favorite of 2023. 🥃
You guys do fantastic with your discipline. I find it so hard to say no to all these amazing bottles that are everywhere. I admire your will power and strength!
the whole lineup of Benchmark is in Iowa.
I got a stellum rye and the calumet 15 and 16. All are fantastic, cheers
When I was there the BYO at Michters was $170 for Barrel Strength Bourbon and I thought the bottle alone is $150. Maybe I'm wrong on that but I'm fairly sure that is the case, at least that's what the local guy who goes there about every morning told me. He lives nearby and just lines up every weekend to see if there is a drop.
Great haul! Thanks for sharing!
Nice haul, that's the way to make a vacation worthwhile. If you like the Pepper there is a JE Pepper 1776 barrel proof around at 113 proof.
How did y’all manage to get so lucky😂😂 I LIVE in Louisville and have never gotten treatment like you did at Liquor Barn and I buy pours there all the time and chat with everyone. Sucks to suck I guess
JACK Rye barrel proof Bury barrel boys barrel selection was wonderful, Salisbury MD
Do they have any left? I'm not that far and would definitely make the drive.
Awesome haul. Congratulations
Good morning bourbon brethren. Having a lazy day in NE Oklahoma 😁☕️
I’m with you, $50 to pull a lever doesn’t cut it for me. Like you all, I am really getting picky with my purchases. It will need to be really special to justify buying.
Congrats. Killer haul
Nice haul! 🥃
Love that Michters!!
I picked up a bottle of Eagle Rare and Buffalo Trace last Friday. Nothing to wild, but it put a smile on my face. I would like to come across a bottle of Penelope like you did.
Generally, how much of the bourbon expenses are from personal fund vs from patreon or other means? Cool haul.
We actually did this video and broke down all of our cost/expenses and what we bring in. At the end of the day, we make nothing. ua-cam.com/video/zewxKsuetKY/v-deo.htmlsi=lp8zM3Mf5l64-Ia9
Also, thanks for watching!!
Agreed!! Quality over quantity!!
KLuke batch 7!!! Get it. Also Michter’s 10 rye is best rye I’ve ever tasted
Nice Haul 🥃😎
Just curious. How many bottles do you guys have open at any given time ????
We open almost every bottle we own unless we bought a backup. We probably have over 350 open right now.
Cheers y’all!
Paul is a super guy. He hooked me up when I was there back in October.
Ouch... you paid $125 for the 8yr Augusta... Justin's house of bourbon is such a ripoff when it comes to buying bottles. That's a $99-105 bottle EVERYWHERE in St. Louis. Evergreen Liquors in Kentucky also had a case of them sitting out at both locations in Louisville when I was there for NYE. Evergreen had them for $109.99 too. It's not close to worth that price tag tho. The 13 is pretty good (but also over priced) the 8 and 10 are completely uninteresting.
The JHOB pick is 131.8 proof, which is the highest proof of the Old Route 8 I have seen. Bought a bottle and it is so good, bought a 2nd. 🥃
7:34 yeah, couldn't find a gas station, CVS/Walgreens, or any other place to buy waters... but were able to find a liquor store. Nah, that's just how bourbon hunters are conditioned. Normally we just lie to our wives and say, "Oh, sorry honey, no gas stations for miles. Maybe this liquor store 2 miles away has a public restroom"....
Nice bottle haul!!
