We drove up to Orangeburg today and found a couple storers in small town South Carolina that are punching WAY above their weight class! I have a ton of fun brining these videos to you guys and am looking forward to starting memberships and other things so you can help support me!

The Bowman Distillery is about 20 mins from me. Great folks there!! The lady did a tasting for us, and she turned me onto Tinkerman's Gin and Ginger Beer. Didn't think I'd like it, but it went way harder than it should have!!!!! The Port Cask is a great pour for the price!!

Those High West single barrels picks with the black label are instant buys imo. Also, that Fibonacci Blend Stellum Rye at the 9:50 mark, just got voted by Fred Minnick's Ascot Awards as the best rye of 2023.

@@Bourbon_Hunter HUGE fan or Russell's Reserve. I currently have 4 different single barrel store picks and they're all amazing. Spend the extra $$ for it and give it a shot. The RR13 is one of my top 10 all-time favorites, but it's hard to find. Someday I'm hoping to find a Rickhouse, but that will probably be.......never! Keep up the great hunts!

I was able to stop at Gibby's a couple years ago and bought some of their store picks. They definitely did not let me down. My wife rolled her ankle in the storm drain in front of their store but I still enjoyed their store! They ROCK!

Creek water is actually Yelawolf’s whisky, what the first store had was their cinnamon whisky. It’s like fire ball. The normal offering isn’t terrible but a lot better stuff for cheaper. I went to the distillery about 3 years ago they were nice but it’s not bourbon. Made in a small town in NC

Its crazy how wild the bourbon hunting is. What I see on the shelf regularly is hard to find other places and things others find I could never find, and if I do its an insanely unreasonable price or in a crazy bundle.

Knob Creek is a great whiskey just got the 7 year rye. It’s one that will be on my shelf always. I have many that I have no unicorns I don’t chase that dragon and really can’t afford it anyway. Super nice picks y’all Enjoy!!

Dev’s actually had a 1792 Full Proof store pick back in May when i went to Kiawah. They were so dusty too, could tell they had been there for a hot minute
Dev’s is a nice store I enjoyed going to his place in my other video and we picked up two store picks from him

I would have grabbed both of the Tumblin Dice, the KC store pick. Along with about a dozen other bottles you walked by lol. My inability to walk away from good bourbon is my financial downfall 🤣

Tumbling Dice and KC 120 store picks are my favorite bottles for price vs taste. Both are excellent and won't break the bank.

I love these videos. Gives me an idea of what to keep an eye at for and also just always interesting to see what's going on around the country. I can find knob creek 9 for 28 at the Walmart down the road but I've never seen eagle rare for under 200. Strange times.

the Old Elk Wheated Bourbon, Wheat Whiskey, and Rye store picks are typically more expensive than the 5 year Bourbon store picks, like $70-$90 range
Yeah thats what it seems like which im not sure $90 is worth it. Barrel Vantage is $90 and is one if my favorites
I read that the Belle Meade reserve is not being discontinued...It is just stopping being sold throughout the U.S. It will now only be sold in its home state Tennessee...or so I read in several online articles and info from the distllery facebook page (whether on not this is true remains to be seen). I guess from now on everyone outside Tennessee will have to order bottles online from retailers that will sell and ship it. I am sure the odds and ends shops around the U.S. will probably still carry it though. Some liquor shops have those special relationships and pull with distributors and like to aquire regional spirits and harder to get stuff to sell in their shops from many states away.

@@Bourbon_Hunter for Father’s Day my neighbor gave me a 2oz sample bottle 2015 EH Taylor Cured Oak. Needless to say it was 🤯 He bottled and sealed the sample before finishing it and had been sitting on it.
Tumbling Dice is amazing and won't break the bank for a store pick barrel strength bourbon. It smells insane. KC 120proof store picks are also amazing for a great price. Highly recommend trying both.

Courage and Conviction is from Virginia. I personally didn’t care for it, I got minis of both of their offerings. It was an easy pass, reminded me more of a super slightly peated scotch with little to no flavor.

KC 12 is near impossible to find in WI. If you ever go through Indiana, it seems to be quite easy to find there, and at around $60.

Oh its so hit and miss pretty much anywhere you see in the videos where I find stuff. Orange burg had a couple good spots too thats not such a haul for you. Check out bottles in columbia too they do random allocated msrp drops too

It's odd that different states have different bourbons on their shelves. The bourbon boom is still going strong and stores are marking up the most popular ones. I live in a state that controls liquor sales. Our selection isn't that great,but everything is sold at MSRP. The bad part is trying to find allocated bourbons!

$29.99 Knob Creek Total Wine in Long Beach. Just found a Booker’s at $93, a 1792 Full Proof SB for $48 and a Knob Creek 12 for $64.99 at Total Wine.

I honestly not a big fan of Sazerac Rye but in my area they can be harder to find and if you do the prices vary wildly. Well I was recently in NOLA, and they had it EVERYWHERE! Picked a bottle up at a grocery store in the area for $19.99 because the price was quite good and I will at least have a bottle if someone visits and enjoys it.

Its wild to me that Weller, BT, ER, Blantons and every bourbon in the world was 30-50% cheaper a couple of years ago.

Creek Water is a whiskey Yelawolf the singer/rapper released. It taste like it has 6 months age with some color added. I think it is more of a mixer budget whiskey. The red bottle in cinnamon flavored whiskey like fireball.

I would say it is not age long but it is not bad. Fred Minnick did an interview with Yelawolf Wolf and tried the whiskey. He had pretty good things to say about it on his UA-cam channel.
