That snare sounds so good. Very sensitive & sounded great in all tuning ranges, though I’m sure the drummer has quite a bit to do with that.

Beautiful playing and beautiful snare, drums and cymbals. Am I wrong in assuming this is a Ludwig snare drum since the throw off is a Ludwig model?

about 20yrs ago I was in a music shop in greater Detroit area and there was a 6x13 DW Craviotto solid walnut with gold hardware for $700..I regret not buying it to this day as it was totally my sound. Walnut is so musical!!!

The sweet spot for that snare was the 2nd to the highest tuning. That drum tuned too low sounds horrendous

Do you ever put 30s or 42s on your snares? Your drums sound absolutely phenomenal. Sound like they have much more than the normal 20 strands. Gorgeous snare!

Utterly awesome! I’ve watched a lot of your videos. And enjoyed them all. But this is hands down my favourite of the ‘snare demo’ ones. That drum is ridiculous. And - whilst your playing is always awesome - the whole kit in this video, and even your playing, sounds ‘lifted’ by the joy that the drum is evidently bringing. I gots to get me a drum like that! Solid walnut, eh? Who made yours? Oh, and that snare throw/tensioner!? Not seen one of those before. Looks and sounds ace! What brand is it?

You're so good and this sounds so killer butnit always makes me uncomfortable how America lists drums sizes backwards. Like if someone said "what size is that drum" and you said "7"...
