  • Before Don't Worry Darling, even has a chance to woo its audience it was embroiled in all sorts of controversy thanks to its director Olivia Wilde and her comments regarding the firing of Shia LaBeouf as well as villainous comparisons with Jordan Peterson and how he is the hero of the Incel community. The movie itself is not great, but unfortunately, it's also promoting a pretty terrible message.
In this video, I dive into the drama as well as why Jordan Peterson and Shia LaBeouf got dragged into some intense virtue signaling.

Have you ever noticed how celebrities will start dating those they are making movies with? Often times, its for publicity. If you pay attention, they usually break up after the movie comes out and bombs. Ben Affleck and JLO, did this back in the early 2000s, with her stupid woke film Gigli. Harry Styles isn't very bright so the kid probably thought this crazy lady actually liked him......lol

She has a shady past in terms of the people she’s been associated with. I’m watching this to see if her Weinstein friendship was mentioned. (No, none of the following.) His behavior was an open secret in Hollywood (joked about in TV shows and award programs) and she only distanced herself from him after the Ronan expose and even then hers was a delayed response. A real feminist wouldn’t be kissy face / close with him for all those years (she can’t have not known). She was also name dropped in an allegation about Weinstein (two years before the expose)-Weinstein trying to get a model (who wanted to go into acting) into bed proposed a 3-some with the two of them and Wilde. Why Wilde? And then, the hiring of Nick Kroll when his father’s firm worked to silence Weinstein’s victims? Um, no. Too close an association for comfort. Surely there were other actors good for the role if she cares about women so much.
She praises Keidis from the Red Hot Chili Peppers whenever even after his auto-biography where he brags about statutory rape of a 14 year old girl. What sort of feminist does that? (A fake one, a feminist of convenience, one who uses feminism like she uses everything else to get what she wants.)
And let’s not forget her close friend Paul Haggis, who was arrested for rape this year (with multiple allegations against him). She served on a board with him of a charity he started.
Perhaps she didn’t know about Haggis, but she had to know about Weinstein, Kroll, and Keidis. Too much to be explained away if you ask me. She’s a pathological liar and an opportunist. She uses feminism to excuse herself of her own bad behavior. She’s just a user all the way around.

What strikes me as very odd is that Wilde is accusing the patriarchy as mean and deceitful and yet here she is running this $40 million production. Then she's using this production to shield her personal affair with Styles from her fiance and children, came up with excuses for her family not to come on set, didn't show up on set to direct for several days, lied about the reasons Shia LaBeouf quit the production, etc. So Wilde has learned the means to use movie productions to get away with deceitful things

I was in the most literal sense, involuntarily celibate.
I'd experienced sexual abuse by girls as a teenager, had a break down and resurgence of memories at 25, and suffered crippling genophobia; fear of sex.
In my case, I genuinely believed that if I so much as touched a woman, I'd be an abuser, I used to wear long trousers in summer, would only swim wearing a shirt and would flinch at any sign of affection.
I had a lot of female friends, but always assumed I! was the problem, that there was something intrinsically wrong with me.
Fortunately, all this changed thanks to meeting my lady in 2015 when I was 33, my lady who is now my wife, and will continue to be so as long as we both live. I genuinely struggle with the misandry of films like don't worry darling, and indeed the world generally. Misandry underpinned a lot of my abuse, and it feels like these days, people want to put me back in that box, something I'd not wish on anyone! Indeed up until I met my lady I principally thought of being male as a negative state myself.

Young men do need to focus on being better but not for the sake of attracting a woman; young men need to focus on their own self worth, for themselves, rather than for the sake of being considered worthy by another.

So before Inceldom became a mainstream word and their communities were broken up I used to browse incel threads out of curiosity (I'm happily married and not at all part of the community) and so I can tell you that Olivia Wilde has no idea who or what incels are. The "nice guy" meme doesn't represent the majority of them and they are not mostly white men. From my experience, the majority of them are actually brown, Asian, or black and a common talking point for them was that because whiteness is considered more attractive in western societies than other ethnicities white men have a leg up.
Most of these guys also are tremendously depressed, have very little self-worth and think of themselves as being hideous. Some of them recognize that these perceptions cement their inceldom as it corrodes their confidence and makes them more socially awkward than they already were. Some of them aren't even necessarily physically unattractive but they have abysmal social skills often due to being shy as young children which snowballed into them being social outcasts all their life. They don't have friends, they don't know how to interact with people and they are lonely.
Yes, for a lot of them this leads to resentment of the opposite sex as they feel they have never been given a chance but it's not limited to the opposite sex. The chad meme comes from the same community and though it's been twisted now to mean a guy that's awesome it originally referred to their bullies. Dumb attractive guys that are accepted by everyone, get all the girls and treated them like garbage for no reason. I'll point out here that "Chad" is a name from White American culture, so again you can see the resentment of white people.

Huh. I appreciate you sharing that insight, I guess I had also been misled in favor of the stereotype. I feel badly for them, but....well, I don't know. I'm a former model, but by society's standards I'm not worth much anymore, married and pregnant with my third child (an adopted embryo, for that matter). But honestly, if society disapproves, I'm probably getting something right lol but I digress.
I still have an instinct to keep my distance from those guys, sorry as I may feel for them. Because I've found that if I show them kindness or empathy, they just glom on and read way, WAY too far into what I'm putting out there. It's really unfortunate, because it also perpetuates the cycle. I have to be, at best, friendly but distant. Which is of course interpreted as I don't like their looks, or their lack or money, or whatever. Whereas it's actually just a self-preservation thing, based on past cringe experiences (I won't elaborate, it's just too bad is all).

By they are so filled with self loathing that it is impossible for them to even consider it. Also porn, since they can’t get the real thing porn becomes there outlet, but we all know what it does to our mental health, making men think there small when there actually average etc.

I find it pretty ironic that people are laughing at Jorden Peterson crying. Is that what we want from men right now? To be openly emotional? He's always represented, to me, a subversion of toxic masculinity. He's openly emotional, he's empathetic, hes humble, and a good leader. Those are all traits that I would say are positive to masculinity. It's so wild to me that people demonize him when every time I've listened to him I've been thankful he has such an audience with young men. That's because when gynocentric "venusians" say they want "martians" to be emotional what they really mean is that they want "martians" to be emotional like them (child minded/conditioned "venusians"). The main reason they want this is so a) they don't have to deal with the complexity of talking or trying to understand/empathize with someone who thinks differently than them and b) have a "martian" available for them to use as an emotional outlet for them to unload their unresolved emotional issues on without the fear of being judged or having the man point out any inconsistencies or logical fallacy (like "venusians" do with each other) and without having to show appreciation to the "martian for it" or without having to be expected to give/do something of equal value for that "martian" in return.
And they trash "martians" when they show emotions because seeing "martians" beeing screwed and be miserable in every way makes them feel special and important since it gives them a sense of superiority just for being of the other sx. This is because they think it is "justice" for the bad stuf other "venusias" went through in some other parts of history showing their lack of individuality and that their entire personality begins and ends with their gndr. They relish and enjoy "martians" suffering and going through problems to the point that they need to see them suffer and be ignored because it makes them feel even more superior for just being a "venusian" due to the narcissistic and above all predatory mentality they've been conditioned to have.

Jordan Peterson helped me get my life together. I’m a stay at home Mom who felt guilty and embarrassed of my decision to stay home for a long time. It was also hard because I like work too and I believed that I’d made a permanent decision in staying home. At one point I heard him describe that depressed people might be undereducated and I knew that was me. When I heard him talk about women regretting a high powered job with no room for children or women who’d made it to the top quitting to be with children I knew that was me too.
I got myself together and buckled down into being the best stay at home Mom I could be AND made plans to go back to school once they were old enough to be in school. It pumped passion back into my life. My family IS my priority and I do not desire I high powered job, just meaningful work. So I focused on the meaning of my children and planned for when they would no longer need as much of my attention and eventually leave home.
Starting grad school in January to study as a marriage and family counselor:) He’s pretty inspirational as a therapist too. I don’t know why we don’t discuss this as an option more though-being a mother young and having a career later. It’s the best way to have both for those who do. The only thing preventing it is societal expectations and refusal to take women seriously who have spent time at home-and liberal people can be some of the worst at that.

People with no character (aka, only live for themselves) have no frame of reference for someone who has it, so they dismiss and degrade them. Great analysis, as always. The shit this guy has to go through is just unbelievable. It says a lot about our state of society when top men like Shia LaBeouf or Jonny Depp have to deal with this shit. Now imagine this for the average guy, that don't have the money or power to fight back. Typically, they just end their life.

I would choose the one with the dented armor, he has experienced battle, fought foes, learned lessons that the clean armored man can only imagine... the "Knight In Shinning Armor" is simply untested metal.

I find it so ironic how she can make this argument about challenging systems that benefit men, when women not only benefit from being women in virtually every aspect of society but also in the same breath attacking men for being lonely/sexless, despite very clear and obvious disadvantages in those very systems. The fact that women can so casually and openly vilify men for their loneliness/sexlessness, or make insane claim like "incels believe they are entitled to sex" without any major backlash addressing her misandry, is in of itself a pretty telling of a massive privilege.
These constant attacks on incels, starting with this absolute refusal to even acknowledge that there could social systems disadvantaging men, is incredibly ignorant, malicious and bigoted. Even this idea that lonely men are just lonely because they have "nothing to offer", being so casually thrown around as if this could ever be said about a woman without it causing major backlash, is clearly indicative of a greater systematic problem.

Absolutely loved the explanation and the way the content was compiled here. I had this conversation with a few female friends recently and at one point I quit the conversation cause it became clear to me, that like andrew tate's case, they have only been watching tiktok clips of jordan peterson which was craftily clipped by feminist vocalists with an intention to paint a certain picture of JP and the narrative was pushed repeated to them with multiple such clips. They had not watched any long form versions of his conversations but their opinions were quite solidly formed. There is no point in trying to change someone's mind if they are not willing to consider an alternative point of view. Meanwhile, we have had yet another mass shooting in a walmart somewhere by another disturbed young man. It is becoming clear to me that empowering women = empowering human ego. And Ego only wants to win by defeating all other egos.

It's just the good ole' tactic of mocking someone for being a virgin, but adapted in such a way that it can even be used against married people.
This is why the people who say that the ones who use the term never aged mentally past high school aren't just making fun of them, they are genuinely stuck at the puberty induced mindset where having sex or not is a way to measure someone's value as a person.
"Who gives a shit if he's right or wrong, he like totally can't get a girl so he's like obviously a loser"
They are mentally children, which is obvious when you look at their behaviour.
Where you find the word "incel" used as an insult, you find crying, screaming and tantrum throwing.

Men born since the 90's, if not earlier, have never once been told at a societal level that they are good, necessary, indisposable, and irreplaceable. Our worst tendancies to violence, bafoonery, and vainglory have been thrown in our faces nonstop, and our greatest qualities are at best ignored, and at worst labeled dangerous, mysogynistic, and hypocritical. We have been told that every good thing we can do would be better done by a woman, and every bad thing we do would never have been done by a woman. Our society has not identified a single thing--not. one. thing.--for which men are praiseworthy and only one thing for which we are needed. We're just sperm donors now--distant, anonymous, sanitized, and invisible, supplying the one and only thing a woman can't get on her own. And with children rapidly going out of style, we're barely even good for that anymore.

The reason why they think that "if someone is helping Mn then it means that their against Wmn"" is because most people have a divided/unbalanced/dualistic mindset which leads them to think and imagine things in a "us vs them", "me vs everyone else" type of thinking wich also leads to believing and seeing everything in a zero sum way. Basically if your not helping "us/me" then your helping "them/everyone else".
This is also due to a lack of understanding or straight up willfull ignorance of Objective Morality leading to basing right and wrong on their personal feeling and idiologies. A moral person wouldn't care whether the victim of an immoral act was of a specific gender, they would only care who was the victimizer (the immoral one) and who was the victim (the one in the right).

The problem with pushing men to 'become the perfect partner', or 'make themselves desirable', is that so much of the dating world revolves around looks, and it's perpetually reinforced by near everything in the social, and mass media. If a man is born physically attractive, there's no amount of internal improvement that can fix that. Confidence can go a long way towards making someone more desirable, however what people fail to acknowledge, is that confidence is something that needs to be accumulated over time. Sure, it can be faked for a time, but often to devastating results unless you've already got a moderate physical/verbal appeal to back it up. If you do, then those will carry you enough to further boost your confidence. If you don't, then one small misstep, and you're done.
BTW, the one statement about how women being the 'picky gatekeepers' so to speak, as being an empowering dynamic for men; is a terrible message to put out there. It's akin to stating that a grouphome that beats children that don't behave, is empowering the kids to be better.. Like, as if all that constant rejection doesn't do some serious long term damage to our confidence levels. Especially for those of us that are only rejected because of our looks, or already existing low confidence levels.
