Very nice run, looks very well routed.
What's the deal with that huge quantity of shinies on the random leaf? I found that too and I don't remember any character talking about it, is there a reason you're supposed to be guided there?

Thanks! There's a lamp guy up on the edge of the shelf up above that says he throws shinies over the side or something like that.

So is it only the stronger amoeba that can eat the final boss?

When the orange one shoots out something, the object explodes, which counts as killing the boss. Normal ones can eat the boss, but they'll just spit him out and not kill him.
