Justin Deas and marguet Colin met on AtWT and fell in love they lived happily ever after
Tom and Margo were still married when the show ended, though they did hit a few bumps every now and then.
Tom Hughes is also Buzz Cooper on Guiding Light
Also Justin and Margaret are still married in reality.
@@booberry349 Justin Deas played Buzz Cooper on Guiding Light for many more years then on ATWT, around 17 years according to IMDb.
Justin also portrayed Bucky on Ryan's Hope.
It's amazing that Tom & Margo got married only once and stayed together until the end of the show
And the two actors are still married in real life
I guess Im kinda off topic but does anyone know of a good place to stream new tv shows online ?
well, Margo had the kid by Hal, then didn't Tom get Emily pregnant? I couldn't keep up with all those half-sibs.
Didn't she mess around with Hal? Can't remember
Tom looks like Buzz Cooper with a beard
Justin Deas was both Thomas Christopher Hughes, and Frances Achilles "Buzz" Cooper [shortened from Coop·er·ah·kis* (I can't spell)] Sr. And he has been married to Margaret Colin since along about the time that this episode aired in '83.
Theirs is one of the great showbiz marriage success stories.
@@CieJe.Alexander Justin and Margaret were a couple when this aired. They got married in real life in 1988.
@@softball3332 Thanks.
Inspired me to look it up. Married Jan. 23, 1988. But he has told the story of how they actually met (before ATWT) when he went to buy a suit from the store where she happened to be working at that time. And the sparks were just there from the first. He still lights up talking about her. 😍
@@CieJe.Alexander Where did you see that? Can you send where you found that to me? I would love to see that! I know he still lights up when he talks about her.
@@softball3332 I'm not sure where. I think it was on one of the live soap reunion videos. They've been streaming 2-3 times a week on 'The Locher Room'. Adam Locher has been hosting them from his UA-cam channel throughout most of the quarantine.
He does many of the big name soaps. And even the online soap web-series. It's great to hear the actors discuss behind-the-scenes stuff with one another.
I'm pretty sure it was on one of the GL ones, but it might have been ATWT. Anyway they're all very entertaining to watch.
Hope you enjoy them.
Blessings.
This Tom is more theatrical than the last Tom. 😆
I always thought the last Tom was an acting dud.
My favorite Tom Justin Deas🔥🔥🔥
Justin is a natural comedian he played a character on RH and had that same dead pan humor ❤
Wow what a perfect recast for Lisa
Margaret Colin and Justin Deas…still married after 36 years! I liked Justin as Tom Hughes! He was animated and funny!
Even though I wasn't a huge fan of Margaret and Justin's Margo and Tom, (Hillary and Gregg were my favorites), I must say, after watching this episode many times over the years, this was certainly an ingenious produced episode. I'm wondering if it was submitted for consideration for the writing or directing categories that year? 😊😊
Both marguet Colin and Meg Ryan were on at the same time
I didn’t know Justin Dees once played Tom.
What a difference a few years made. Craig became the most desired man on here after doing some horrible things. Ellen changed her tune with him and the rest of Oakdale too.
OMG David Forsyth 29:30
I thought Meg Ryan acted so ditzy as Betsy, she seemed like an airhead. Cute but space cadet.
Didn’t like the Dee recast. Jacqueline Schultz was the best Dee Stewart.
Interesting to see Betsy Von Furstenberg as Lisa! She actually did quite a fascinating impression of Eileen's vocal patterns...! Robert Horton just looks... ick. Chris and Nancy Hughes!
While Eileen is in a class of her own, Betsy was a great recast.
As much as I've loved Eillen Fulton as Lisa, I love it that someone recorded Betsy Von Furstenberg's Lisa, and posted it.
I was thinking the same thing. Betsy's voice and phrasing sounded so much like Eileen's. I read somewhere that Eileen didn't care for Robert Horton. I wonder if his being cast as her husband had anything to do with why she left, or if her agreeing to return the following year was in part related to the fact that his character was going to be killed off.
I think so too. She sounds a lot like her.
I love THIS Tom and Margo! They’re so fun!❤
The fake Lisa, but the real Tom & Margo!
Justin Deas and Margaret Colin must have had a lot of fun doing these fun storylines.
Betsy and craig were Better together as a couple 😁
Were we really supposed to believe that Patricia Bruder could be the grandmother to Meg Ryan/Lindsay Frost?
That always confused me as a kid. I know that they SORASed her son Dan so much that at one point he was played by an actor that was older that Patricia Bruder!
Meg Ryan and Dan "Jimmy" Stewart were born in the same year!
Craig was far from sterile to have Bryant and Lucy.
I graduated from high school 2 weeks before this aired! I didn't start watching until 1985, just as Lindsay Frost took over the role of Betsy. I never saw these versions of Tom and Margo or Betsy.
I graduated high school at the same time but I had been watching this soap two years earlier but only in the summer. I remember watching these episodes when they first aired so they have strong sentimental value for me.
I really wish we could seen next episode after how it ended
I know! Now I’m hooked and need to see more!😂
Used to like Meg Ryan as betsy
Does anyone remember how and when Betsy found out that Danielle was not Craig's?
I like her as Margo.
I grew up on ATWT and GL. I have never seen this Lisa. I never knew another actress played her.
This is my favorite Tom and Margo
So glad that I can see these old videos
I was 20 when this part of the soaps
We're showing.
A master class from Larry Bryggman in those scenes
This episode actually aired on Friday, June 3, 1983. The wedding continued on Monday, June 6.
Thank you! I love that kind of detailed information. 👏
I really liked Hillary Bailey Smith's Margo better.
I liked all of the Margos except Gylnnis O’Connor
@@jennieirwin3154 Glynnis O'Connor was awful as Margo.
The good old days.❤
She was great, i hated to see her leave, and him leaving the show and went on to GL as buzz
Barbara had the same hairstyle for 30 years.
She sure did! And totally rocked it.
Almost.
THAT TOM USED TO BE ON RYANS HOPE.
Lovedtomandmargo❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
this is the my favorite Tom and Margo
I don't know why Lyla was Wearing a Scarf wrapped Around Her Hair Outside
Ivy Withrop Crane And Michael Baldwin
You know I'm one of few but my favorite Tom & Margo was Gregg Marx & Hillary B. Smith. Hillary slid into Margo like a glover, kept that sense of humor to Margo like MC.
The original Lisa was the best but this actress wasn't bad. She did a decent job in the role
Meg Ryan got her start
Loved these 2 together
29:30 who's That Man Outside of the limo
Is that Ivy (Diane) from Passions
Yes That's Kim Johnston Ulrich She Played Diana McColl On ATWT For Two Years From 1983 Until 1985.
Tom & Margo What A Lovely Couple ❤
To me this was the best wedding of this era. This was such a great contrast to all those ridiculously overblown weddings complete with gaudy themes and such, such as Cinderealla complete with a carriage ride!
I think they were trying to be the anti-Luke-and-Laura wedding. ❤
who is the blond actress 10:07......
Ivy Withrop Crane lol
Kim Johnston Ulrich
23:11 It’s Michael Baldwin
29:30 Fun Fact David Forsyth was Appeared On All 3 P&G Produced Soaps Texas, Search For Tomorrow & Another World
What about Guiding Light?
@@keeganthorpe he did not appeared on Guiding light
I never liked Steve
@Draper Scott thought he was creepy
Plus all that chest hair.
Steve & Betsy's wedding was the highest rated ATWT episode; the 2nd highest episode of any soap opera.
Justin Deas overacted as Tom Hughes and Buzz Cooper on Guiding Light. He practically played both parts identically which is not good acting.
I did love this Lisa, though. I actually think she knew her lines and dialogue even better than Eileen Fulton did.
Betsy Von Furstenburg looked very identical to Eileen Fulton.
I never liked Ellen.
I thought she was a beautiful, loving, and a bit tortured by her family devotion. She has such a kind spirit that matches her Madonna-like looks.
Buzz!
Justin Deas
