I learned about something called a "chemically induced personality disorder" recently. Like, a person who has consumed so much drugs over such a long time period that they are never the same again. ...Hans certainly screams chemically induced personality disorder as well as some of the others featured in this video and on "Doctor" Phil's show in the past.
Dr. Phil fooled me for the longest time of him being a voice of reason. Only after I hit around 22 did I realize that he was more of someone using the people who need help by masquerading them on TV. There are claims that his crew even gets the visitor to fall into a bad mental state just to make it more entertaining/shocking for the viewer.
I'm schizophrenic too, when the illness started presenting itself I was fully unaware and thereby - unmedicated. So I understand how awful Ramon's life would be if he isn't on the meds. Petting yourself on fire isn't even that out there as to what this life ruining illness makes you do. I hope dearly he is getting help. It sucks his country doesn't have free healthcare.

All of which will assist any individual in getting the care they need. All they have to do is ask for help. Much easier to whine though.
To all you in the comments section: I'm the guy you're talking about. My family invested shit loads of money into helping me figure this out after burning up. I had a legendary shrink that taught me some unconventional mental techniques for successfully coping with schizophrenia without using the medication. I have blown the prognosis out of the water in every single way. I've been off the meds more or less for about 8 years and @informitas0117 is right, it's absolute misery. I have, however, chosen to bear this burden with meaning and make the most of it. I'm not where I want to be yet, but since that day I have set and broken world records in fitness, written music, wrote a book, and I'm still climbing against all odds. Now is not time to brag because I'm not there yet, but I'm going to publish videos and a book showing how to deal with schizophrenia without having to take the medication (or even with the meds) because the meds don't help everybody, they don't fix the root problem, and they ALL have serious side effects. I will find a better way and then I will share it with the world.

It can be hard to get a bipolar diagnosis if you are not actively manic when you are being evaluated, especially in the cases where it is a one-off few hour meeting with a psychiatrist. A friend of mine had a therapist for *months* before she was manic around him, and then he immediately encouraged her to get her diagnosis changed from depression to bipolar disorder.

Man, Dr Phil was the one who sowed the seed of interest in psychology into me, I even studied social work because of that original influence. Over the years I've come to despise him as a grifter who's no worse than the people who train circus bears with boiling hot irons.
I went to high school with Hans, he was a bit different and awkward but ultimately a kind, happy guy. The last time I saw him, several years after highschool (maybe 2004ish?), was when I saw the early stages of "Sexy Vegan", he talked about Meth amphetamines and described how they made him feel. You could say he was manic, but my interpretation of his behavior was that he was on speed. He also mentioned some disturbing things about animals I would rather not discuss in an open forum like this. Its really sad, and quite frankly I think his progression to where he is was the result of drug abuse. One of the things I remember about him was that he was kind, he was the opposite of a bully in high school.

Well, that would certainly account for bleeding his wealthy mom dry, insisting he lives near W Hollywood and everything about his seemingly at-will manic behavior. Stimulant-induced psychosis is literally indistinguishable from 'normal' Schizophrenia, but only after around 3+ days of sleep deprivation which is when the 'tweaking' symptoms will start to become apparent. If anyone's curious, dopamine-antagonists (aka Antipsychotics) are equally and incredibly effective for both cases with a return to 'normal' behavior within an hour. The problem is, mania is euphoric and they're eventually not willing or able to take their meds and they end up in the streets getting arrested.

I worked at a gas station once and when I started there was a girl who was a few months along. Over the next couple of months, she kept showing more and more gradually, always had doctor's notes, everything. Because she was heavily pregnant, she got to sit on some stacked boxes while she worked the register (there were no chairs in the entire store). Then, around time for her to go give birth, we had a little party for her and talked about how we couldn't wait to see her and the baby. Months went by and when she didn't come back, I thought it was a stay at home mom thing, but then I casually mentioned her to my coworkers and they gasped and said "You don't know?!" This woman faked HER ENTIRE PREGNANCY, the whole thing, convincingly, and no one caught her out on it til we couldn't ever see the baby, and my oblivious ass just missed it. 😂 Truly wild. I have no idea what happened to her but I think the authorities did get involved.
I remember when there was a guy with his wife trying to make a failing marriage work. He was working like 60 hour weeks because she wanted to be a stay at home wife, and she got them in super debt from her spending and it turned out she was cheating on him. Dr.phil basically told the man he was a neglectful husband and needs to spend more time with her and he started tearing up. He wasnt working so much by choice, it was so they didnt end up in the streets. Havent watched an episode since.

To all you in the comments section: I'm the guy you're talking about. My family invested shit loads of money into helping me figure this out after burning up. I had a legendary shrink that taught me some unconventional mental techniques for successfully coping with schizophrenia without using the medication. I have blown the prognosis out of the water in every single way. I've been off the meds more or less for about 8 years and @informitas0117 is right, it's absolute misery. I have, however, chosen to bear this burden with meaning and make the most of it. I'm not where I want to be yet, but since that day I have set and broken world records in fitness, written music, wrote a book, and I'm still climbing against all odds. Now is not time to brag because I'm not there yet, but I'm going to publish videos and a book showing how to deal with schizophrenia without having to take the medication (or even with the meds) because the meds don't help everybody, they don't fix the root problem, and they ALL have serious side effects. I will find a better way and then I will share it with the world.

It can be hard to get a bipolar diagnosis if you are not actively manic when you are being evaluated, especially in the cases where it is a one-off few hour meeting with a psychiatrist. A friend of mine had a therapist for *months* before she was manic around him, and then he immediately encouraged her to get her diagnosis changed from depression to bipolar disorder.

Man, Dr Phil was the one who sowed the seed of interest in psychology into me, I even studied social work because of that original influence. Over the years I've come to despise him as a grifter who's no worse than the people who train circus bears with boiling hot irons.
I went to high school with Hans, he was a bit different and awkward but ultimately a kind, happy guy. The last time I saw him, several years after highschool (maybe 2004ish?), was when I saw the early stages of "Sexy Vegan", he talked about Meth amphetamines and described how they made him feel. You could say he was manic, but my interpretation of his behavior was that he was on speed. He also mentioned some disturbing things about animals I would rather not discuss in an open forum like this. Its really sad, and quite frankly I think his progression to where he is was the result of drug abuse. One of the things I remember about him was that he was kind, he was the opposite of a bully in high school.

Well, that would certainly account for bleeding his wealthy mom dry, insisting he lives near W Hollywood and everything about his seemingly at-will manic behavior. Stimulant-induced psychosis is literally indistinguishable from 'normal' Schizophrenia, but only after around 3+ days of sleep deprivation which is when the 'tweaking' symptoms will start to become apparent. If anyone's curious, dopamine-antagonists (aka Antipsychotics) are equally and incredibly effective for both cases with a return to 'normal' behavior within an hour. The problem is, mania is euphoric and they're eventually not willing or able to take their meds and they end up in the streets getting arrested.
I've read that methamphetamine can cause brain damage. That would explain a lot in this case.

I worked at a gas station once and when I started there was a girl who was a few months along. Over the next couple of months, she kept showing more and more gradually, always had doctor's notes, everything. Because she was heavily pregnant, she got to sit on some stacked boxes while she worked the register (there were no chairs in the entire store). Then, around time for her to go give birth, we had a little party for her and talked about how we couldn't wait to see her and the baby.
Months went by and when she didn't come back, I thought it was a stay at home mom thing, but then I casually mentioned her to my coworkers and they gasped and said "You don't know?!"
This woman faked HER ENTIRE PREGNANCY, the whole thing, convincingly, and no one caught her out on it til we couldn't ever see the baby, and my oblivious ass just missed it. 😂

The fact that SV managed to actually finish a book, let alone two, but couldn't stop himself from fucking up the plot by inserting either himself or becoming straight fanfiction, (as soon as his character was revealed to be a fallen angel and was punished by God, it became fanfiction even if it was sold in an official capacity) makes me want to look closer at my own stuff to be sure my biases are not obstructing a good idea.
so all those aspiring authors out there: just remember that however bad your book is, his will always be worse

If anything, I think, for a casual viewer it's very easy to think the programme is about healthcare. That's why so many people watch.

Drs says dead walking or walking dead person etc BUT it’s in warning to people who are very Ill but are delusionally believing they’re very super healthy in order to scare them into taking their health seriously. Dr. Phil simply doesn't care about male victims when it comes to SA and domestic violence. He once had a man on his show who was being physically abused by his wife, and berated him for hitting her in self-defence, saying it didn't matter if she attacked him first. He literally belittled and blamed a victim of domestic abuse for defending himself. It's disgusting that this man still has a platform.
I heard he is a predator himself. He wasn't allowed to work alone with clients after accusations of sexual assault before he was on tv.

I guarantee it was ptsd & if the post made was true untreated schizophrenia that was underlying but kicked off by his encounters prior. The fire make a lot of sense since it was one way he was attempted being killed. He probably just thought they were going after him the whole time whether or not it was true and reached a point of mental implosion.
It's a long story and I wrote a book about it if anyone cares to read it. It didn't really kick off hard until I went to college in Oregon and started smoking lots of newly legal weed. That stuff is bad for your head. It's a lot easier after sobering up but it's a complicated issue.
