I have to add though, is there anything sadder than watching someone who peaked in high school/college spend the rest of their life trying to relive those days? They gone, man. That life, those people, that person you was. Accept it before you're thirty years old and sitting alone with nothing but your memories.
The fact that the entire cast and crew were willing to agree to sobriety just to look out for Stevo shows how much they cared about each other. They really were good friends which makes what happened to Bam all the more tragic.
It's hard to believe Dunn was allowed to be a public menace on the streets for as long as he was. You'd think they'd take his license away permanently instead of risking the lives of other drivers and pedestrians.
Bam Margera is really the greatest long-term example of how there's no amount of love in the world your family and friends can have for you that will save you from what happens when you make hating yourself your only purpose in life.
Who would have thought Steve-o would turn out to be the wisest and most mature of the Jackass guys after being sober for 15 years. He is an inspiration.
I used to really like Bam, but now whenever I see him I feel genuinely sad. I’ve been sober from alcohol for almost 3 years now, addiction is truly a bastard.
I remember my brother watching Viva la Bam, and one time i actually sat down and watched with him. I can't recall the "prank" exactly, but it involved him just absolutely tormenting his father. My brother laughed the whole time, but even as a kid I didn't find it very funny. I just remember thinking that he seemed so mean.
Honesty, the more I watch Bam as I am getting older (I am 45 now), the more I can plainly see that he is a child who never learned the word NO. He was spoiled so much by his parents and given whatever he wanted. He has grown up in front of the camera and for him, the world is a show. He is always acting like a spoiled brat/drama queen who does whatever he wants no matter the consequences or how it affects others. His emotional, psychological and dare I say, cognitive growth was stunted many years ago. He is a man child who acts out on his ID at ALL TIMES and his family and friends always come to his rescue. He never grew up. What we see is a very spoiled and immature man child and the product of his loved ones all acting as enablers. I know he has an addiction, but he also needs to stop being so self-entitled. Look how he screamed at his manager at that club. I WANT TO GO NOW!!! He sounded like a little brat who wants to get his way because he always has. It's sad, but also, the only way to help him is to truly NOT support his bad behavior so that he learns that it is no longer acceptable. I think his parents also need to grow up and stop craving (mostly his mother) the spotlight and wanting to be on camera and famous.
I can understand someone’s trauma and loss, but when someone tries to tell you “No!” when you’ve never had the word said to you. It’s no wonder why Bam is in this mess.
Steve-o is someone you can strongly tell went through hell, clawed his way out, and is trying SO hard to drag his friend out of it too. For guys who made their living and fame being as reckless and stupid as possible, they are so good at unconditional love while knowing that it means setting limits and pushing them to be better.

dude legitimately just missed every developmental milestone after like age 15, and stayed a teenager mentally.

Steve-O's unwavering support for his friend - who offers him so little in return - says so much about his character.
As someone who has battled with addiction and hitting rock bottom, this is disturbing. But he can't be saved. You can only save yourself.

Update: Bam left rehab. Went to Vegas, and MARRIED a new woman. Then they shot a music video. Bam is the soap opera that never ends.
Stevo was only paid HOW MUCH?! No wonder he looks back at that with such disgust.

He wasn’t abusing Adderall in that video he was abusing meth! Known fact. Bam got addicted to meth back in 2011.

Bam is a spoiled child who got everything he ever wanted. He’s exactly who he wants to be. No one should feel sorry for him.

I never realized all the head injuries Bam had, but it makes sense. 3 severe head injuries that require medical care? Maybe he has CTE??
Novak's before and after photos are amazing. Happy for the guy.
Don't understand why people feel so sad for Bam, the man got more chances than most people on this planet.
