2:59 ChatGPT has enabled my son to have all the questions about Minecraft to be answered, because I have no clue. And the images he’s making as he envisions a video game he wants to make or the story he wants to write … a boy fighting off a dragon, a duck and a chicken who are best friends … and then to show him how they can be animated in RunwayML. He’s 7 and now asks to borrow my phone to talk to and imagine with CharGPT. Such an amazing time to be alive, to be a parent, and to be a kid!
It's fashionable nowadays to say kids spend too much time on their phones. I think that's wrong. They do need to spend time outside and with friends, but using gadgets is not bad in itself, and in fact will give them a leg up in life, in my opinion.

Andreessen celebrating American dynamism: 'the sheer animalistic ambition...energy, animal spirits of the entrepreneurs'. It's nice to hear that the entrepreneur's animal spirits are well. I don't know why this thought intruded here, but since 1970, the number of animals in the world, of all types, except those entrepreneurs, has decreased by 70%. Does capitalism have a fix for this?
Published figures from a WWF report: 32,000 populations of 5,230 species of animals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish. Latin American wild life population sizes have seen a 94% decline since 1970.@@kreek22

Does capitalism have a fix for this?
I'm sure Xi Jinping has a solution.
Are you counting domesticated animals, wild animals, or both? The first has increased in numbers.

Witty comment and angle. The short answer is yes. Its just a question of priorities and how important society deem it to be.
😁 👋🏾
Great points!

seriously, who is this moderator? might as well just have a computer screen that lists the next question after Marc finishes his thought.
Computer screen would work too. Marc can make it work imo
