I remember being at work and getting an automated call from my daughters school saying that a student and his sister had passed away. I assumed it has been a car accident since both children passed away. It wasn’t until a few days later we found out what really happened. My kids were heartbroken. When mom claimed bullying I asked my daughter if she ever witnessed kids picking on Connor and she told me no, that he had friends including her and they liked to play kickball at recess. All of us parents knew mom was lying. Glad the police saw through her BS because most of us parents were ready to handle it ourselves. Years later this situation still bothers me.

So…. I remember this. I worked at a tattoo studio at the time and so did my dad. She was a regular at the tattoo shop and my dad tattooed her many times. The day or so after her kids died she came in and got her kids names tattooed on her…. We had no idea she actually killed them till it came out on the news. It’s always been common to legally go after animal abusers... there’s countless cases.. It’s the judges that gives the punishments and often times they’re just way to lenient. Conner had so much he wanted to give and so much going for him. Hearing about his special interests being accepted, his peers valuing him, and his OT working to support his speech and coordination is bittersweet. So many neurodivergent kids get so beat down in their formative social environments, but Connor was thriving and loved. I am so so sad he didn't have the chance to grow up.

It turns out that rigorous programs for the sterilization of the "unfit" were beneficial to all involved, including the sterilized patients. This woman here would be an instant candidate for sterilization and it would result in her being permanently unable to repeat her actions.
She joined multiple Facebook crime groups about her under fake names and I have screenshots of messages she would send trying to find out who in her family was talking about her to member of the group. She did a poor job of hiding her alt accounts being her, and were easily discovered to be her. She posed as a friend on one account trying to defend herself as a good person. Crazy case

This is breaking my heart. I'm only 20 minutes in and can't handle it. I'm raising my 8yo nephew. The way Connor was described reminds me so much of my nephew. Gentle and caring. Sweet and thinking of others. Simply cannot wrap my head around how someone could harm a sweet child like him.

A more recent update - The judge rejected the plea as non being in the interests of justice. She didn't plead guilty to the first degree murder charges and pleaded no contest by reason of mental disease or defect to the third degree murder charges. I can't imagine that she won't be found guilty at trial and will hopefully never walk free again.
And to think, for once the dude into sick shit wasnt the murderer or ordered it. Also, I really think it's great how you emphasize how great the kids were in your videos. It helps preserve a memory of kindness over the horrible things done to them.

As I was watching this I got the impression from the thumbnail that the kids died, then I got the impression that they survived and the elation was through the roof. Then hearing the part where the mom would not go near the kids BODIES and that the bodies were still warm made me feel really depressed that the poor kids died while the fucking selfish monster was milling about and could not even be bothered to tell the EMTs where they were😤😤. Then hearing that they did survive gave a euphoric relief that thank God this did not end in caskets. And then found out about the pulling of the plug.😢😢😭😭 Rest in peace dear Connor and Brinley.

Some people do not deserve the gift of children. While some people desperately want children but can't afford to jump through the various hoops it takes to adopt or pay for cycles of fertility treatment, you get parents like this one who take the lives of their innocent ones. She even blamed her boy for her crimes. It's so sad.
You said exactly what I think, we should make it easier for good kids and good loving decent trustworthy, people to get together and even more financial help to get them together. It’s crazy expensive to adopt. And kids want love and a decent place to live and loving parents, they don’t need a castle or expect one, if you have a decent clean home with plenty of food and basics the kids are gonna be happy to be with you. As long as you treat them well and love them, is the most important thing. My previous governor said it’s easier for foreigners to adopt US kids than it is for natives and that’s crazy, she always thought she would be able to have kids but realized she would adopt, and a million difficulties faced her and she was well off. So how can an average person do it?

I hope you guys do plan on covering Andrea Yates' story because its really tragic and was totally preventable with proper care and support from her husband / family members. She isn't comparable to Diane Downs or this case, hers is a story of severe PPD that led to psychosis, as mentioned in your video. She thought she was saving her children from Satan, and its just absolutely horrible that we still don't recognize the horror of PPD and its effects on parents, especially mothers.
It is sad. I had severe ppd with my first child and i had to navigate it myself, no one saw it, no one said anything, no one came to help. Looking back, its terrifying thinking about the uncontrollable thoughts in my head. Im proud i made through it, but im still incredibly resentful to the people who were supposed to care about me, because clearly they didn’t.

I remember being at work and getting an automated call from my daughters school saying that a student and his sister had passed away. I assumed it has been a car accident since both children passed away. It wasn’t until a few days later we found out what really happened. My kids were heartbroken. When mom claimed bullying I asked my daughter if she ever witnessed kids picking on Connor and she told me no, that he had friends including her and they liked to play kickball at recess. All of us parents knew mom was lying. Glad the police saw through her BS because most of us parents were ready to handle it ourselves. Years later this situation still bothers me.

I worked at a tattoo studio at the time and so did my dad. She was a regular at the tattoo shop and my dad tattooed her many times.

This has no relation to the video, but I feel like "pulling the plug" is usually reserved for humans being taken off life support, once the hope for a miracle goes away. "Putting down" is for ending a dog's life.
A dog you just call it a one way trip to the vets. There is no point ever putting one on life support. That would be stupid when people can just buy a new one(if they want to).

A more recent update - The judge rejected the plea as non being in the interests of justice. She didn't plead guilty to the first degree murder charges and pleaded no contest by reason of mental disease or defect to the third degree murder charges. I can't imagine that she won't be found guilty at trial and will hopefully never walk free again.

As I was watching this I got the impression from the thumbnail that the kids died, then I got the impression that they survived and the elation was through the roof. Then hearing the part where the mom would not go near the kids BODIES and that the bodies were still warm made me feel really depressed that the poor kids died while the fucking selfish monster was milling about and could not even be bothered to tell the EMTs where they were😤😤. Then hearing that they did survive gave a euphoric relief that thank God this did not end in caskets. And then found out about the pulling of the plug.😢😢😭😭

Some people do not deserve the gift of children. While some people desperately want children but can't afford to jump through the various hoops it takes to adopt or pay for cycles of fertility treatment, you get parents like this one who take the lives of their innocent ones. She even blamed her boy for her crimes. It's so sad.
You said exactly what I think, we should make it easier for good kids and good loving decent trustworthy, people to get together and even more financial help to get them together. It’s crazy expensive to adopt. And kids want love and a decent place to live and loving parents, they don’t need a castle or expect one, if you have a decent clean home with plenty of food and basics the kids are gonna be happy to be with you. As long as you treat them well and love them, is the most important thing. My previous governor said it’s easier for foreigners to adopt US kids than it is for natives and that’s crazy, she always thought she would be able to have kids but realized she would adopt, and a million difficulties faced her and she was well off. So how can an average person do it?
connor and brinley were absolutely precious. to be so full of joy and love, they clearly didn’t learn those things from their mother: it came naturally to them and that is beautiful. what a tragedy.

I hope you guys do plan on covering Andrea Yates' story because its really tragic and was totally preventable with proper care and support from her husband / family members. She isn't comparable to Diane Downs or this case, hers is a story of severe PPD that led to psychosis, as mentioned in your video. She thought she was saving her children from Satan, and its just absolutely horrible that we still don't recognize the horror of PPD and its effects on parents, especially mothers.
It is sad.
I had severe ppd with my first child and i had to navigate it myself, no one saw it, no one said anything, no one came to help.
Looking back, its terrifying thinking about the uncontrollable thoughts in my head. Im proud i made through it, but im still incredibly resentful to the people who were supposed to care about me, because clearly they didn’t.
It's so important to talk about her case. It is utterly tragic and I hate when people talk about her like she was an evil woman. She loved her children but she was sick and no one helped her.
