Do you have time for relationships in arch school? Because everyone always tells me that in arch school, you're in studio and class ALL DAY LONG!! Also, once you get out of school, are you still really busy working long hours?
In my opinion, BEING in a relationship in studio is relatively easy. TRYING TO GET INTO a relationship while in studio is hard. And GETTING OUT OF a relationship while in studio is probably the hardest. Of course everyone has a different experience. But that’s my opinion. You’ll work long hours in school but people date in college lol. You’ll have friends and relationships. They will be the ones who respect your school commitments, and if they don’t, then you shouldn’t be spending your time on them anyway. (Again, that’s my opinion.) And don’t forget that you have a whole new life after you graduate lol
Doing architecture is a big decision. Find someone who is an architect, ask to meet with them, talk about what they do, and find out if you would like it. :)
Yeah, it feels like that sometimes. That’s this firm I’m at in New York. I should have talked some about my experience back in Atlanta: schematic design is more focused on creating the building, Design development still looks the same (picking fixtures and finishes) but CDs is more about building sections, wall sections, and details, schedules, and site plans.
Thanks for the video I'm a second year at Famu
This sounds Awesome
Nice
Hello! what program should I start learning as a beginner in architecture
Any advice for me
If you’re just starting out, I recommend Sketchup.
Is the real job more enjoyable than school?
Depends
Hi, I am a French student and for an English project I have to realise a little interview of an architect. If you have free time could you help me ?
