Spoiler alert: Dylan did always listen to Kelly's problems, just later on when they were in private. And he was right--he also helped her to forget them like no one else could.
Dylan believes the way to help Kelly problems is making her forget by giving her ride on road with Brandon he helped her with her problem by helping her comfort her letting her know it be ok
