Dylan tells the Walshes how special they are to him -- and Brenda tells Dylan "she's late"! (OMG!!!) #BeverlyHills90210 | Now streaming on Paramount+ Where to watch: para.mt/90210
But compare this to the Bradley girls on Petticoat Junction, for example. That's what I grew up with, and you never saw storylines where someone was "late". It shows how we have slipped downhill as far as morals.
Dylan was a thirty-five years old man, wih problems with alcohol and much many, in a teenager role. So strange and so inadequate while watching it now. But Luke Perry was so charmig and amazing. ❤

@@rachaelramos holy shit! I have one kid and she's almost 18 and that's enough. If I would of had a second when she was still little that would of been ok but not now
I know. When I was a girl in the 60s, I watched shows like Petticoat Junction, where the Bradley sisters dated nice, wholesome guys and nobody was "late".
@@Cindybin46 Well that show was a bit of a rural American fantasy, wasn’t it? It aired during the most socially tumultuous years of the 60s when a lot of teenagers and young adults were experimenting with drugs, protesting leaders and war, and considering alternative ways of living. Even as a representation of more mainstream young people, it wasn’t very realistic.
@@EastSide-qc5oy But that's how kids were SUPPOSED to be, wholesome and NOT using drugs! I sure never used drugs or "protested" or anything like that! Kids these days think it's perfectly okay to have sex before marriage with multiple partners, and use drugs, etc.
@@Cindybin46 I don’t think all kids think it’s ok to have sex with multiple partners and use drugs. I think it depends on the kid and the context. But my point is 90210, at least in the beginning, was meant to be more of a realistic portrayal of the kinds of things kids face, but a nuanced portrayal. Sex was often portrayed as complex and possibly dangerous. Some characters like Donna didn’t want to rush into it. And drug use wasn’t encouraged and when it was introduced into storylines it was usually cautionary. And notice how in this scene Brenda and Dylan are worried about the outcome of their sexual activity. It’s not encouraging sex and it’s showing consequences. Petticoat Junction was a fantasy where the characters didn’t really live in the real world. They lived in a fantasy rural corner where certain harsh aspects of life were treated lightly and as fodder for comedy and most of the characters were more like caricatures. That’s all fine and good as it wasn’t meant to be a serious drama, always a light and innocent comedy. But it wasn’t very realistic. 90210 certainly wasn’t realistic on all counts but the writers aimed to give things a more realistic edge. They are just very different shows.
I love Brenda but I was thinking the same thing. Like wait a couple more days or another week. No one’s cycle is ever always on the same date every month.
Back then there was still humanity and some dignity in the scripts, unlike now! Rest In Peace Luke Perry!

@Modok.Saint424another loony leftist. The Fox that this was on is not the same as Fox News.
You poor soul
Never realized how pretty Brenda & Brandon’s mom is
Brandon was the cutest guy on this show
I just read that Shannen's cancer has spread to her brain. Hate to hear it, and praying for a miracle. She will forever be a 90's icon!
Yes I heard too she announced it on Instagram ❤
Devastating. She's such a warrior!
@Jana Love yes she's done so much to inspire people with beast cancer & sharing her story while raising awareness too , such a strong lady ❤️
I know its terrible 😢 I pray 🙏🏾 for her recovery ❤️🩹
One year later… RIP Shannen Doherty 🙏🙏🙏🙏🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️
I guess Dylan said it best, “You Walsh people are the only family I got.” This explains the bond he and Brenda shared.
Rest Peacefully Luke Perry❤️🙏Praying for Shannen to be okay🙏❤️😢
Jennifer So true We all miss Luke perry and Shannon Doherty we have Dylan and Brenda in our hearts But she will fight this
Let's hope she makes a fully recovery I remember the series from the early age
0:51 “You walsh people are the only family I got.” Man i really felt that.
the way the wrote dylan to be beyond cool even to the parents was interesting
R.i.p ! U suffered so!!❤❤❤❤❤
It seems silly and dated now, but this sh*t was groundbreaking then

❤
No, he was between 24-29 between 1990 and 1995.
Luke was 24 at the beginning... Walsh dad was 35. Only 35, Carl!
Why did he get the final say as to what the family is doing. If I were Cindy I would be pissed😂.
2:10 Jason breaks character and mouths “Whaaaaat?” with a confused and slightly annoyed look to someone off camera.
I think they cut the scene
After Brenda said she was late, Dylan had that "you guys need to go back to Minnesota" look.

The only moment I actually liked Jim
Jeepers, we never had storylines like this on shows I watched in the 60s. The Bradley sisters on Petticoat Junction, for example.
I'm late and we need to talk are words you never want to hear from a girl
I've had to tell my baby daddy that 7 times 😂
@@rachaelramos holy shit! I have one kid and she's almost 18 and that's enough. If I would of had a second when she was still little that would of been ok but not now
@@Westhelockpicker I only had 3 live births . I lost babies #1, 2, 5, and 6
So is "so I ran into my x..."
We need to talk………. As Lucifer said, there scariest 4 words in the English language 😂
When Brenda said those words. Dylan didn't get it. Bad things were coming his way. And her way as well
Brenda always has bad news.
Luke Perry was sooo masculin!
I just bought a new pair of leopard underwear
Glen Gulia YOU! 😂
Too adult of issues for high school kids to deal with
That’s why they can’t achieve higher in life when ur mind is bogged down with these issues but
Well in reality, they sometimes do deal with these issues.

I just noticed Donna and David dancing, they didn't become a couple until season 2, were they planned by season 1?
It is okay for friends to dance.
💖💖💖💖
anybody know the name of the song playing? Thanks
What would Brenda do if they did leave .talk about leaving it to the last minute
Who will tell that later , he will cheat on Brenda and fight with almost all the rest of the Walsh family...
what's Brenda late for? All i can find out it has something to do with her fear of pregnancy
😂, o sea que si los Walsh se mudaban la Brenda se iba panzona 😮? O al menos con la duda 😮😅
celebrate me home was the song...this music sucks.
Leave It To Brenda To Ruin The Mood And Good Vibes With Her Drama. 🙄
