i absolutely love the ending with them playing battleship... and plus when kelly gave him the note that leaded him to a car. that is so sweet. i LOVE dylan and kelly!!!!
I feel and think they probably were in the same classes all twelve years cause throughout the series they talk about memories of things they did together or remember about eachother now that I go back and watch episodes I see that in my opinion they really did know eachother better than brenda and brandon ever did or even the rest of their friends did because they only really had one another before they grew up and apart Dylan+Kelly=soulmates Love them so much
Throughout the series? Kelly and Dylan barely even looked at each other until season 3. Did you even watch the first two seasons? Sounds like you did not start watching until season 3, which seems to be typical of people who prefer Kelly with Dylan.
Gina gave Dylan beer, pizza and ice cream. Meanwhile Kelly got him a Porsche that he could fix up so he didn't have to spend his mornings with Gina. I'm dead😂
i don't understand, everyone always says that Dylan and Brenda were meant to be, and Dylan and Kelly were nothing but fight and sex... and they also think the writers always planned to make Dylan end up with Brenda and Brandon end up with Kelly, and maybe that's true but, yet Dylan saying here he's only connected with two people, Toni and Kelly.. and Brenda's not even one of them? How the hell does that make sense... like if Dylan and Brenda were so meant to be and if Dylan was suppose to love Brenda and not (or more than) Kelly, then the writers would have at least said he has only connected with three people in his life, and added Brenda in to this.. AT LEAST.. and also, why would he come back to Beverly Hills because he missed Kelly, when he could of been living with Brenda in London, his one true love.. I'm sorry but people who say Dylan loved Brenda more than Kelly, I completely disagree and seriously they never had very many good arguments supporting that fact, even in season 3 and 4 and especially in the season 9 and 10, and you would think if the writers were going for the whole Dylan/Brenda true love thing, they would at least have Dylan choose Brenda over Kelly instead of Dylan constantly choosing Kelly, say that he connected with her, go be with her instead of trying to get Kelly back since the day he gets back to Beverly Hills in season 9 (and we all know thats true.. its the really reason he came back), and tbh while we are on the subject, i really don't think he loved Brenda as much as Kelly ever since him and Kelly first hooked up in season 3, the writers said they didn't want it this way, but then they do things like this, so really I don't know how anyone can take it any other way unless they wanted it this way.. if that makes sense
+sophia cromwell i agree, and the writers are the ones who put them together in the end when they could have made any other options. plus looking back at the beginning. in season 3, when they first hooked up, everything they wrote about dylan's feelings towards kelly are much more powerful and deeper than anything they wrote for him and brenda. clearly they knew there was something about these two, otherwise season 3 wouldn't have made them such a passionate couple.

Then Dylan and Brenda would be known to be living in London happily ever after. But a big BUT.. Once Brandon left the show that ruined the writers plan. So they had to bring Dylan back. Brandon was meant to be with kelly.
Aaron Spelling and the producers of the show have said many, many times that the plan was always to have Dylan and Brenda end up together. Obviously, Shannen (Brenda) left after season 4, so they could not be reunited at that time. The plan was for them to be together in season 5. When Luke (Dylan) left midway through season 6, they had him move to London to be with Brenda. When Jason (Brandon) left early in season 9, the producers knew the show was in trouble. The hope was to bring Shannen and Luke both back together, as a couple. However, Shannen chose to do the new show, Charmed, instead. Because of that, the last two standing were Jenny and Luke, so they were basically put together by default. Why do you think they weren't actually put together until the very end of the series? Additionally, there was a lot of revisionist history going on with the writing in those last couple seasons. At the very end of season 8, it was said that Brandon and Kelly were going to spend part of their honeymoon in London, visiting Dylan and Brenda. When Luke came back in early season 9, he told Kelly he had been broken up with Brenda for two years. However, in season 8, he sent his regards for the Brandon/ Kelly wedding with a return address from the house he shared with Brenda. None of the writers from the last couple seasons were the same as the writers from the first 7 seasons. Larry Mollin, the executive producer from season 4-7 was not around. In short, the writing was bad the last 3, and especially the last 2, seasons. The show was hanging on by a thread. The hope was that, in the end, Shannen and Jason would appear for the series finale so that the show could end with Brandon and Kelly and Shannen and Dylan. Unfortunately, Shannen was filming Charmed and Jason was working in London, so that did not happen. So, at the very last episode, by default, Dylan and Kelly were put together because they were the only option the writers had.
I agree with you 100% I couldn't said it any better myself that's exactly what I've been trying to explain to a lot of these Brenda and Dylan fans who never understood that Dylan who he really loved the most was Kelly Point Blank and with everything that you said that prove it thank you so much
I just think that Brenda and Dylan were a high school thing. It was never going to last forever. A lot of the attraction was the whole Romeo/Juliet thing where her dad was against them. Once that element was taken away, there wasn't going to be a lot left in terms of conflict. They weren't as inherently passionate or as sexy a couple.
I'm tired of watching this forced Kelly-Dylan couple, they don't fit each other either in character or appearance. They removed the importance of first love and life story and dishonored it with this "easy replacement". It's sad to even look at these two..🤦♀️🤦♀️
