Hitting the Dopest Features at Markham Park MTB Trails

- I learned a lot from this great experience. My language mainly consists of saying alright, I need to let them one handers open up more, and that the Markham Park Trail builders are some of the dopest riders in the SoFlo scene. Definitely recommend shredding Markham Park MTB Trails for some of the best trails in Florida.

@@_johnkowal I just started riding about a year ago and I’m having trouble with steeper jumps like that line to the right on your jump line. Can you give me some tips?
@@itr0863 My bad for responding late. For me, I had the privilege to start on some smaller slightly less steep jumps that are rollable. I would first roll the jumps until I felt comfortable with the jump and its steepness, as well as I would try to wrap my head around how the jump feels compared to a less steep jump i've sent. Then I would aim to get a few inches off the ground and land flat on top of the jump. Eventually I would just send it. For the right line, I couldn't really roll it but I used my prior experience with the smaller steep jumps and the middle line steep jumps you saw in the video to help me work my way jump by jump. As long as you can stay relaxed and confident in your riding and go through the process gradually, you will eventually build your way up to steeper and bigger jumps. You might case here and there as I had my handful of cases as well as landing awkwardly on some steep jumps, but it comes with the sport and trying to understand how to coordinate your body with the bike and the jump. I hope this helps in some way and keep on sending it.

What part of the park is this jump line at?
Right after you get out of the trail Armadillo it will be on your left. It usually is tarped on the weekdays to preserve the jumps from wearing out and falling apart quickly. If you come during the weekends the jumps are usually open around noon to 5pm if weather permits. If they ain't open I usually full send Iguana Ridge and Area 51 back to back 🤙
Where in the park are the drops
Coming from the main entrance follow the two way gravel road and make a right you will dead end at the skills section (the wooden drops)
